Had to give the new wheel a solid real world test drive.
Yes I took my walker to the gym. I don’t trust myself just yet on my knee and my wheelchair gets in everybody’s way lol. Thinking about styling it up though with some matte black paint. Then it will match my leg.
If your the person sitting at home worried about what people will think of you at the gym let me be your shining example. Come to the gym with me I promise they won’t be looking at you lol. I’m the guy with a fake leg and an incisional hernia the size of Mount Everest. If I’m going to the gym anybody can. Get to work. Nobody is going to do it for you.
People ask me if it hurts. The short answer is yes it hurts. But it hurts the same wether I’m sitting at home or up doing something. Could I lay around on the couch, pop pain pills, complain about what happened for the rest of my life and be a has been? I probably could and nobody would judge me. But that’s not me. That’s not who I am. Lazy and self pity is a language that I refuse to learn.

Don’t dwell in your past, learn from the mistakes you have made and including from your parents an those who were close to you. yes, it’s never that easy. Let it become with you and understand them. Find yourself and live. Be one with yourself. Sounds cheesy but self love is very important. .
Learn from your dark times.
I’m not perfect just as you. We all have made mistakes. .
Cause I had my hard times during those times, I was alone, other kids picked on me for being a little “different “, been fat most of my life. But, it’s the hard times that make you stronger and believe in yourself. And hard to believe now, since those days had past, I as a person kept on improving and understanding my mistakes. .
Everyone is raised very differently. .
Appreciate it, whatever you have. Love the people who you are with and enjoy every moment. .
Ever since I’ve been doing the #75hardchallenge , it has helped me personally. Going through my dark times and understand them. Not because I was depressed or hated myself because it was part of me. And I had to understand that mentally and physically I had to keep on challenging myself to self improve and see the bigger picture. It’s about you but, sometimes it’s about those who care about you the most. but, first you have to understand the man in the mirror before you start helping everyone else. improve yourself so other could follow you and your ways of life. Once you start doing this program you’ll understand. .
but first talk to yourself and ask why ? .

As I enter my last year of my undergrad this summer, I’m unhappy, and chronically tired. I lost 30 pounds of muscle, I have mood swings and random bursts of irrational panic. I have three more years to go. (Starting LSAT studying this summer, along with 15 credits) But none of my personal misfortune matters to me anymore. The only focus I currently have is blessing my family and giving them everything they deserve. Orphans don’t get the opportunities I’ve gotten. What I did to be more like #batman today: food has, without a doubt, been my biggest failing. I’ve pushed myself to do loads of new things, difficult things, and never make excuses or find reasons not to do the work.
Food though, I can find ANY excuse to eat like an asshole. As much as I wanted to make it to Jiu Jitsu tonight, I knew I needed to stay home and prep food, because if I didn’t, I’d just buy some shitty tomorrow and use the excuse that I didn’t prep food as reasoning.
I took this week not only to relax and clear my mind, but also to look at my life from an outside perspective.
Learning to be extremely grateful 🙏🏼 for what I have and how far I’ve come, but never being afraid to want more or to be better.
Thinking about what I truly want, working on forming the habits and becoming more disciplined 💪🏼 to get there.
And the most important thing is, I’m OKAY 🙌🏼 with going at whatever pace I see fit for myself rather than trying to live up to what others expect of me. Because I know that the better I am to myself the better I will be to serve others ❤️
