When the food is worth counter surfing 🙌 .
If you're like me, you put a lot of effort into picking what your dog eats. I've spent weeks reading labels, researching different brands, and deciphering those ingredients you can't even read.
If you're even more like me, you have a senior dog who is slowing down & gaining weight... no? Just me? 😂 Either way, it was time to put the kibble away & move on to something that was appropriate for an aging dog (goodbye carbs, hello high quality protein!). @primalpetfoods made building a better bowl incredibly simple. With frozen & freeze-dried formulas to choose from, there was no way this (surprisingly) picky Lab was gonna turn her nose up.
Primal's Turkey & Sardine formula is the lowest in calories & the perfect choice for a dog who needs to lose a few pounds. Transitioning to a new food can be a fickle thing, but they've got that covered too: Raw goat's milk. It's naturally full of probiotics to help upset tummies!
Worrying about your doggo during the day can really tug at your heart strings. Let us help you!! Each walk includes:
-real time email updates -GPS tracking
-pictures of your pup during our visit
-insured and bonded dog walkers -LOTS of love, rubs and attention 😍
I've been looking back on this past week - the first week my portrait shop has been open - and I'm just amazed. For as long as it was planted into my head that I needed to pick a career to have for the rest of my life, I was lost.
Nothing seemed to 'click'. I'd read job description after job description & it was disheartening that none of these things sparked an interest. Everyone was finding jobs that they could at least find SOME joy out of, or that at least willed them out of bed every morning. But I was lost.
I'm still at the beginning. This very well may be a 'honeymoon phase'. But, for the first time in a long time, I'm enjoying what I'm doing. The days I get to wake up, spend time with Boba, & create memorable pieces for people are like a breath of fresh air. They're a direction I've been searching for.
Anddddd this is me! Hi! 🐾 I’m Broughton! As in Broughton Street in Savannah GA! My pawrents @cpmcatee & @flywithabbylou brought me from my old home in Pagosa Springs, CO to my new home in Albany, NY last week! It’s been a very busy week, smelling all these city smells, meeting tons of people, and side-eyeing all the dogs stealing my spotlight on the sidewalk.
If you haven't seen it yet, I've been pretty busy lately setting up my art account @letsgosketch ! My opening day is this Sunday, so I've been very focused on making sure everything is 1000% ready to go.
Hi everyone! Big news: I am hiring!!! A girl can only hold so many leashes and walk so many miles before an assistant starts to sound pretty good. 😂❤️ I wanted to reach out to you all so that 1. you hear it from me first and 2. if there is anyone you may know who would love to walk dogs part time on weekdays, you can send ‘em my way! I would prefer to hire someone that comes directly recommended by one of my clients because trust and reliability are two huge attributes that I will be searching for in a potential employee. The hours are 10a-2/3p M-F. Please share this post to help me get the word out there! Anyone reading this who may be interested and is seeking further details regarding the position, feel free to email me at email@example.com! I’d love to hear from you and get connected with my fellow dog lovers of Albany! P.s. how cute are these 4?! My favorite days are when the stars align and they are able to get together for a buddy walk.😊🐾
Happy National Golden Retriever Day from Max and Maddie! These two cuties are here for their very first sleepover. Comment the name of your favorite Golden or Golden mix! 💛🐾

Happy 13th birthday to our sweet Macy! Macy was one of my very first clients back in 2017 and I have loved every second I have been able to spend with her since then (and so has the rest of our team!) Even though our walks aren’t always as long as they used to be she looks forward to them just as much and loves when her friends come to walk with her. Cheers to the many walks ahead, Macy! 💕🥳🐾
Gimli has been around a lot of dogs lately and is seen as the bad dog. I don't know if its his looks or if its just easier to blame him than their own. Which we think is unfair on him so I am writing this for everyone to see how much of a good boy he really is.
Gimli is about 1 year and 5ish months old.
When we got Gimli it was before Oscar got sick. When we found out Oscar had cancer I found it very hard to cope with Gimli being an energetic puppy around a really sick dog. There came a point when Oscar got so sick we had to say goodbye. At that point I gave up training Gimli. A few months passed and I was getting better with Gimli as he was maturing so I started his training back up again.
Gimli has improved so much in the time that we had him. He went from a stubborn puppy who always had to have his own way to a dog that now respects authority. He used to bite, jump, play up on a lead, chase the cats, whine, sulk, ignore rules and commands.
Gimli's amazing new skills/traits:
-Walk well on a lead.
-Sit, lay down, spin, paw, other paw, kiss, roll over, wait/stay, off to bed.
-Respect cats (will often hang out with Kairo in the garden).
-"Get out of the kitchen" he likes to sit in the way.
-Come when called.
-Took him to beach and he tried saving us from the waves. He learnt how to quickly read the waves.
-He loves kids, dogs and cats.
-Has never once shown any signs of aggression towards other dogs or cats. Even when dogs have been agressive to him.
-Won't run off if the front door/gate is open unless we go out or say he can. -Respects authority. We found he won't listen if you are all loving and soft with him.
Gimli has more amazing traits but this is all I can think to write at the moment.
Gimli is raw fed. We believe in feeding our animals food that they were designed to eat.
On the menu:
·Chicken whole, wings and breasts
I've been thinking about it these past few days and, after getting so much interest, I've decided I'll start selling my dog portraits.
Everything will be setup shortly, so just a little info to start: - $10 per portrait, $5 per additional dogs - Bust only. I will offer full body later - I will only be accepting PayPal - Only 5 commission spots will be available to start
Of course, the reference photo needs to be well-lit & clear enough to see the details of the face. I'll post examples when I'm ready to take orders.
You can see portraits that I've already done in the art highlight! If you want to claim a spot, you can go ahead & DM me. .
And that's a wrap for #dc , it has been a amazing journey and experience starting this business here in my home city. Albany pooches get ready for some serious styling cause your next!! 🐕🛀💇♀️😎 Mini obsession with my buddy Rooney the English bulldog.
