Did you know our MIND holds the power of imagination, recognition, and appreciation, and is responsible for processing feelings and emotions, resulting in attitudes and actions? 🤓
That’s a lot to do!
No wonder we can hear from everywhere that right 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐞𝐭 is behind every success story.
Especially now, in these weird times we need that extra work on our mind set- to make sure we see positive and good, and we are moving forward without feeling depressed or depleted ❤️
How to work on correct mindset? I’m not an expect but these few things are helping me a lot:
🌟𝘸𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘶𝘱 𝘵𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘷𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘨- sounds silly but this always put smile on my face before I even open my eyes
🌟𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦 - ask yourself daily what are the 3things you are grateful for (don’t repeat yourself, find new joys every day)
🌟𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘴- “Slight Edge” by J. Olson & “The 5 second rule” by M. Robins are my fav person development. But ANY good story will do!
🌟𝘣𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦- get away from negativity, gossip and bad energy
🌟𝘥𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳- our body needs hydration
🌟𝘧𝘰𝘤𝘶𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 - and always make a time to practice them
🌟𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘺 𝘥𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘺 - 30min, to get endorphins to do magic

This past week I decided to take action📓. I’m doing six things each and every day to better myself during this #quarantine & #socialdistancing period. So, here’s my list!
1. Picking up French again through daily practice on @duolingo 🇫🇷 2. Exercising and going on daily walks💪🏻 🏃🏼♀️ 3. I created an online women’s empowerment group where we will do virtual meetups. The platform it’s hosted on right now, @leaninorg is geared toward smaller groups, but I’m hoping that this can become something bigger overtime. Stay tuned ✨
4. Daily gratitude journal 🙏🏻 With so much fear out there right now, I just want to sit down and focus on the things that I’m grateful for, here and now. I also started #GratefulTuesdays where I invite all to join in on my stories each week and share with me what you are grateful for! 💕
5. Listening to Podcasts & watching videos/tutorials. This week I tuned in to @winapageant and her virtual summit training program, and I loved it! This week, I signed up for @melyssa_griffin and her tips/techniques of #blogging 💻
6. Focusing on my relationships & being there for my family, friends, and loved ones 👶🏻 👨🏼 👵🏻 👴 ♥️

My first #screenlesssaturday went pretty well!
💫I haven’t watched ANY tv (until now)
💫I went on my phone minimally! (
💫I went in my computer ONCE to buy white loafers from @lulus (pretty excited to where them nowhere 🥴)
💫I only thought about school work a little bit, but I need ONE day to relax.
My main project today was to organize the closet in my apartment. My fiancé has an interesting way of organizing: whatever he takes out of the closet goes back wherever it fits. As you can imagine, that leaves the closet CRAZY😝 It also doesn’t help that we don’t have any organizational furniture in the closet, just the floor and the top shelf 👎
To remedy this hot mess, I purchased a metal rack from @wayfair. I built it myself! I hate building furniture because I need to read the directions several times before I “get” it. BUT I DID! And now we have space in our closet 😁😁😁
I love seeing so many folks turning to at-home yoga these days as exercise and/or gentle stretching and stress relief. It’s hard on the body to sit so much!! This was taken at mom and dad’s house like a week ago when it was warm outside ☀️ I’m proud of my downward facing dogs but at this point there’s no chance of a forearm stand from me so I gotta work up my little arm and core muscles with one-legged Dolphin poses instead 💪🏽 🐬 like most yoga teachers and studios at this time, I’m still offering online yoga classes a couple nights a week (hatha/vinyasa/gentle) so DM me if you want details but no pressure either - I just love seeing people doing more yoga no matter how!
