Today starts Pride Month. I understand how frivolous it is to post stupid outfits during this very delicate time in the world. However when @thehepburnmovement and @margaretfrench_ posted a Pride Month style challenge to celebrate Pride Month since the Pride celebrations will be cancelled this year, I was on board. Today’s introduction is kind of embarrassing but it’s important. When I was about eleven, my older and very cool cousin @rogolady came to stay with us for a summer. This was one of those random and seemingly dismissive things that she probably doesn’t remember but it changed my life forever. I remember passing by the living room as she watched something with drag queens in it. Out of literally no thought process I just said “gross.” I didn’t think about it at all. All I knew was that going to middle school in the 90s, if you were different that was bad. And I didn’t know anyone gay or trans or lesbian or anything other than heterosexual. I literally don’t know where this comment came from as my family is very progressive. My cousin turned to me and said “you think that’s gross sweetie? Why?” And I didn’t know. I didn’t know why I said it and I didn’t even think I thought that way. But that day I realized that I did not think that way. And I realized that you can stand up and ask questions like my cousin did of me. And how one instant can literally change your point of view forever. Today my two best friends in the whole world of more than half my lifetime are gay men. I have had countless gay friends and gay family members. I have been active in gay rights (aka human rights). And while this is a completely different topic than BLM and I am not trying to tie those together (although the gay rights movement is rightfully credited heavily by riots and protests and black people in the LGBTQA community), what I can say is this: when you know better, do better. I’ve made mistakes in my life that I now cringe at like the moment I just mentioned. But that moment at eleven years old made me do better, think better and know better. Listen to learn. Speak up but not over. We are ALL human. Black Lives Matter. Gay Rights matter. Love wins.
Chocolate Lab always has something crazy up their sleeves. In this case, a drink in an IV fluid bag. These are available for takeout or dine-in, which starts Wednesday. Sip from the bag, or pour it into a glass.
Disclaimer: I didn't try it, I literally dropped it after this photo. Only the second time I have ever lost food/drink for the 'gram! I saw a lot of these going out the door in take-out bags, so it is certainly popular!

@fnkdphotos and I decided to switch things up.. this time he did the baking and I took the photos. The brownies were my favorite kind.. they had a shiny crackly top with a soft and chewy middle. He used @valrhonausa 70% baking chocolate which gave the brownies a dark chocolate taste and white granulated sugar which balanced out the deep cocoa taste.
I pretty much inhaled them.. #noregrets
So we've established that @fnkdphotos makes amazing brownies, now lets talk about my photography skills.. or rather.. let's not 😂
I think I'm going to leave the photography to @fnkdphotos

Eğer ömrünün geri kalanını nerede yaşamak istersin diye sorsalar, ben kesinlikle artık tarım ve toprakla ugrasabilecegim bir yerde yaşamak isterdim. Mesela İsviçre.. 🇨🇭 🌱
If I would have an only one chance to choose where to live, I would vote for Switzerland 🇨🇭🌱
In Switzerland, residents have an opportunity to get a hobby gardens, where they can plant and do some gardening stuff. How nice it is right? Even if you live in the city, you still have the chance to see and reach to the greens, the Swiss Alps and lake from somewhere.🏕️
The #pandemic mostly affected the people who lives in the high and crowded buildings like us. Hence, we are more keen to live in the greens nowadays. If you would have a chance to choose where to live, where would you like to live? 🏡
