Friends. Like. This. While I haven't (yet) met her in person, I can't imagine not having her in my circle. Surround yourself with people who share your common dreams and goals and are willing to push you to be better. If you don't have a circle like this, you're missing out. Trust me. Just one perk of my "job" ;)
When there’s a feeling of “I give up,” I just have to remember:
I’m doing this because I love fragrance
I’m doing this because I want a different future
I’m doing this because I have a goal
I’m doing this because it makes me feel independent from my Husband
I’m doing this because I want to help provide
I’m doing this for me and no one else
Some days it will feel as though you are gaining incredible ground. Other days, it will feel as though you have not cultivated anything. These are the days when you can get effectively demotivated. You simply need to understand that ‘persistent’ activity is superior to no activity.
The energy will continue assembling each day, regardless of how little you do. Having this attitude is extremely practical, as none of us are experts at getting it done each and every day of our lives. The minute you quit pushing forward is the point at which you let the majority of your endeavors go to squander.
I am persistent and so proud of myself for making it through the last few months!! Photography by @nazstone
i hate being cold 🥶🌨
working out in the winter is always such a struggle for me. i am cold constantly. i don’t get the greatest circulation in my hands & feet in the winter & i literally feel like i can’t function 😫 i can hardly hold onto things bc i feel like my hands are numb. lukewarm water feels like lava on my hands 🌋 & i’m not exaggerating lol. i think that’s always why i would prefer to workout in the scorching hot than the cold 🥵 .
i got myself up (later than usual bc i just could not sleep last night. a million things running through my head, i guess), took my pre-workout dry bc why not!? 😂 & got my booty in the gym and did me a full body workout 🏃🏻♀️💨💪🏼🤸🏻♀️🏋🏻♀️
~ 0.5 mile run
~ 15 burpees
~ 15 squats
~ 15 dumbbell row
~ 15 sit-ups
- x 40 mins
- i went over 40 bc i wanted to at least get 4 rounds in. (i also forgot to ‘end’ my workout so it says it took an hr & 22 mins but it took me about an hr & 10mins). my goodness this was rough. i haven’t done something this intense in a LOOOONNGGG time & i was feeling it. i warmed up with a 10 min walk & cooled down with a 10 min walk. .

It’s been awhile since I have introduced myself.
I’m Carrie but most just call me Care.
I am a big fan of living simply and more so minimally.
Stuff can clutter my world.
I love good food and wine.
Essential oils are my thing now and I love to share how you can use them for almost everything from a headache to releasing negative emotions.
One thing I know is life is short and we get to choose how we live it.
Always choose kindness, happiness and love no matter what.
Thanks for hanging with me and I hope I can inspire you to live your best life.

Putting dinner in the slow cooker before you leave for work in the morning is one of the easiest ways to ensure that you’ll be eating a healthy dinner that night. This chicken breast comes out so tender that it literally falls apart—it’s delicious. Enjoy!

The batting slump is finally Over 🙌🏻
Since coming back to baseball I have struggled with hitting (something I’m not use to at all).
How did I fix my issues?
- lots of tee work and recorded my batting sessions.
I come to the conclusion that I was just over thinking it. I haven’t played is so long but I expected myself to come back and be exactly or better then when I stopped the first time.
My last hit was actually so much better but I didn’t get a video of that one.
For Your Awareness... “On Thursday the Federal Communications Commission unanimously voted to proceed with a proposal to set up a new hotline similar to 911 — only, instead of dialing the police, the number would connect callers to experts in suicide prevention and mental health. The proposed number, 988, would link callers to an already existing network of crisis centers around the country set up by the Department of Health and Human Services.” #DontQuit #SuicidePrevention
