Stop saying, “I guess this is not for me”; when the truth is this is ALL for you. The good and the bad. The happy and the sad. The mountain tops and the low valleys; and yes, even that brick wall.
Walls have a way of strengthening you if you let them. Whether you tear them down or walk 7 times around it, you will get stronger. And for where you are going you will need more strength. You will need a little more perseverance and fight, so you can’t afford to keep walking away. You can’t afford to keep giving up on yourself. How do YOU stay motivated??
We are now halfway through January, it's cold, miserable the excitement of New year has worn off and people start slipping away from their goals and back into old habits.
Here are a couple really effective ways that can help you to STAY MOTIVATED and on track with not just your fitness but your overall goals
1) What is your WHY? You need dig deep to find the real reason for why you want to reach your goal! Maybe it's because you want to feel more confident in the way you look and feel? Whatever your WHY is you need to have a deep connection with it as this the only thing that will drive off the sofa on those cold winter evenings!
2) it's okay to struggle! It's okay to get tired or feel like you don't want to carry on but that's normal! But instead of quitting when things get too much, take a break! Rest, Recover and Return!
3) Work on developing your mindset! It's so easy to focus on the negatives and let things get you down. Every night write down 3 positives things that happened to you that day, even if it was the worst possible day you've ever had. Pick out some tiny positive things and reflect on them, you soon very quickly see how easy it is to work on your building optimism and a more positive outlook which can boost your motivation!
E.g. you could have had the most terrible workout but the positive thing is that you finished a workout which was better than not doing anything at all so you are a small step closer to your goal

Remember Travis and Luna? Luna is the dog who lived at the shelter for almost a year. Travis is the veteran who refused to give up on her. Together they passed their public access test and are now an officially OAE service dog team! This dog was placed and returned countless times. I've been single 2 years today, although it only feels like I've been free of the relationship around 6 months since all the courts and the rest of drama was out if the way, I couldn't be prouder of how far I've come the past 2 years and it really has taught me that if I put the energy into myself that I used to put into other people and relationships I really can achieve anything that I want too.
I've gained my driving licence, gained my licence as a Rapid Pain Elimination Therapist and Mind Mediator, Im slowly but surely working towards a succesful business and helped loads of people in the process and by the end of the year will be qualified to help people with autism too.
I've found it a struggle being a one man band for my daughter, home, studying, and business but nothing worth having is easy and I'm not giving up any time soon.👊 #keepgoing#dontquit#progressisprogress#igotthis
Have you gotten into a really good rhythm of going to the gym, only to get injured and stop going?
Don’t do that! There are SO many things you can still do to get a great workout, even with an injury.
Today I’m featuring one of our newer members Julie. Julie recently broke her foot. Wait for it. She then slipped and broke her other foot. Two broken feet.
She is STILL training.
For now we have her performing only seated exercises but there is so much she can still do.

Julie gets a couple huge gold stars for continuing her training in spite of her recent mishaps. And the best part is, she’ll still make strength gains while recovering and she isn’t going to lose all of the hard earned progress she’d made to this point.
