May we all learn the art of slowing down, of being present, and of doing everything in the spirit of aloha, in the spirit of love. 🌺

You have enough to worry about after a car accident. Did you know we will work directly through most insurance companies to make the process as smooth and hassle-free as possible for you? This means a quicker turnover and more of your time and energy spent on what matters - getting back to normal life! Give us a call or submit an estimate should you need auto body repairs and we’ll have you back on the road faster than you can say “speed bump” 🚫⚠️🛑. Have a happy HUMP day, friends!
Bad parking now in bulk at a local Costco near you! Thank you for the extra large parking stalls @costcohawaii but this is clearly a case of “give them an inch, they take a MILE” 🤦🏻♂️. Happy Saturday, folks!
Here is a driving etiquette reminder to keep you safe on the road. While highways come with no traffic lights, pedestrians or intersections, higher speeds bring with it a new set of challenges.
This is why it’s important to practice the 3-second rule when driving on highways. Essentially, one should pick a focal point that is parallel to the car in front of you, such as a building or road sign. You then count the seconds it takes you to arrive at that same road point.
Also keep in mind that with wet or slick roads, this becomes an 8-10 second rule to account for lack of visibility and unsafe road conditions.
We hope this tip keeps you safe out there on the roads and remember that ALOHA is always the answer when behind the wheel! Have a great week friends!

To continue this month’s patriotic celebration I wanted to an individual who represents an important piece in military life, the children of service-members. 🇺🇸 Lily Rollins is the daughter of a retired U.S. Navy sailor and spent the first half of her life immersed in military culture. She’s moved five times in her short 16-year-old life following her father’s career and supported him, along with her family, through seasons of deployment. Life has not always been sunny for this bright friend, but she always remains optimistic.☀️ I am excited and honored to say that Lily is the first teenager featured on Still With You. In this episode we talk about all the things current in her life; school, friends, God, movies, etc. ✌🏼I am always so impressed by Lily’s authenticity and how she lives to love and serve others. Her heart for Jesus, hardback books, swing dancing, and adventure is simply inspiring. Also, did I mention she is touring Europe this summer? Um, boujee! 🚗
Pour a Café au lait and lean in. ☕️ Lily’s thoughts are something to remember, especially in praying for influential future generation. Welcome to the show my beautiful friend, Lily Rollins.

This driver went from zero to “over it” in no time! If parallel parking is not your forte, and you find yourself in a similar situation, here’s some advice:
2. Align your vehicle next to the neighboring car
3. Turn your wheel ALL THE WAY to the right
4. Realize it’s not worth it!!!!
5. Park somewhere else
Hawaii is expecting off-season summer thunderstorms for the next few days and we’re definitely not complaining. A short break from the sweltering summer heat is a nice change of pace but remember that heavy rains can mean dangerous road conditions. So please be considerate of your fellow drivers, slow down (but don’t hinder traffic) and #drivewithaloha 🤙🏾 Wishing you all a safe and hopefully cooler week out there! Aloha
What happened to the aloha state? Stop beeping at each other, flipping each other off, not letting people merge, forgetting to throw shaka, calling people names, and getting angry if a bike goes over the line or onto the sidewalk. I see this stuff all the damn time.
Next time you feel yourself getting angry at someone on the road, imagine it's your mom or grandma driving. Cut them some slack, they might be slow, they might be lost, they might be confused, they might be on their last gallon of gas, they might be avoiding potholes or debris, they might be going through some shit and just want to make it home.
Save your road rage for your therapist.
6 Driving Safety Tips
Every time you’re behind the wheel, whether alone or with passengers, your top priority should be traffic safety. No matter how skilled you are as a driver, it’s important to review the basics of traffic safety from time to time. Make sure you, your passengers and pedestrians are as safe as possible, increase your chances of staying safe on the road by reviewing these guidelines:
• Stay Alert: Pay attention to your surroundings. Be mindful of your actions and other drivers.
• Do not text and drive: No text message is more important than the safety of everyone.
• Use blinkers or turn signals: Always use your turn signals in advance to let the other drivers know you’re switching lanes or making a turn.
• Buckle up: A rule of thumb when it comes to vehicle safety. Wear your seatbelt! • Follow traffic signs: Don’t ignore traffic signs and follow them. They’re there for the safety of all.
• Never drink under the influence: Never drive if you have been drinking, impaired with a prescription or non-prescription drugs. #windward#kaneohe#honolulu#hawaii#forthepeople#safety#safetytips#drivingsafe#beprepared#drivewithaloha#luckywelivehawaii

Thank you, HPD, for the gentle reminder that the speed limit in the Wilson tunnel on the Likelike is 35 MPH. And if you cannot catch this hint, then you deserve a ticket. #badboysbadboys#drivewithaloha
