Aaaaaand we have tenants! I know they'll love their new home & here's hoping they stay for a few years!
Covid has definitely made this process a little more "interesting" than the previous property but plans haven't changed. Looking for the next one still! Just a little delayed than first expected.
Saving just to save discourages a lot of people from saving, but saving with no idea as to how much you should have saved makes the process even more painful. This is a list I found on a few websites outlining how much you SHOULD have saved by a certain age.
I find this very helpful. This isn't to say this is the norm, but I thought it would be helpful for someone who hasn't thought about saving with a purpose.
Whether you have a savings/retirement goals or not, are your savings in line with this chart?

Should you be saving for your retirement while paying off your student loans?
The trick is to start EARLY and watch your money accumulate over time. 📈
It doesn’t have to be much – if you start putting aside $100 every month RIGHT NOW you’ll be in a much better position than someone who only starts saving for their retirement in their 40s 🙌
Still not sure how to start saving for your retirement? DM me or comment below - I'd love to help!! ❤️️
Early retirement is a time when you make the shift from having to work to choosing to work. It shouldn’t mean you stop working altogether because many people like to continue working, it just means you aren’t tied to your job/salary. You can carry your living expenses without working if you wish. ⠀
I am currently on a 2 year sabbatical to test out early retirement. I can still work occasionally if I choose, but I am no longer constrained to a full-time schedule and have the flexibility to decide when or if I work. It’s a wonderful feeling. ⠀
Building extra income streams can help you achieve early retirement. Rental income, investment income, business income are some of the ways you can bring in extra money every month to cover your living expenses. Start building your income streams as early as you can. ⠀
