Aptly termed as 'Edutainment' - an initiative by DAPM RV Dental College is an interactive form of education involving board games and quizzes which has been well received by schools as well as students.
The "Sparkyman Board Game" with quizzes and magic cards, the magnetic board game "Magtooth Ninja", the 3D model "Dentocity" and the card game "32 Warriors" are games developed by our innovative dentists to promote oral health education and awareness among children of all ages.
Cultivating #courage among students is extremely challenging, as kids grapple with many external factors that can contribute to low self-esteem. In addition to #teachers setting an strong example of bravery in education for students, educators can teach children to help themselves by believing in their own #abilities .

I’m just happy to see the blue skies again 😍 after weeks of storms and ☔️ -
When we started #vlogging as a family last year. I really thought we wouldn’t get beyond just family and friends watching our videos. You’ve been great and I am so so grateful to you all 🤗 But it has really blown me away when I’ve received positive comments and encouragement along the way from people who don’t know me. It’s when I first realised that I have a voice. And surprisingly a voice that people are willing to listen to.
So I’ve been busy thinking and working on what that voice is going to stand for. I knew all along that I’m passionate about kids and their future. But I’ve been working out how to put that into words, videos, pictures for you all. Since I’m such a practical person, I don’t just want to inspire, I want to give you something actionable that you’ll want to do.
So bear with me while I figure it out. They’ll be lots of experiments as I test things out and see what works!
But for today, hope the 🌞 is shining where you are 😎
P U Z Z L E S // We ensure to be very strategic about the puzzles we provide for our customers, hence why this is the only one we currently offer! Purely for the fact that we require our resources to be open-ended, providing more then one learning opportunity for children. But here we have our lovely Australian map puzzle. I truly love the conversations that are possible to further engage children in regards to the different states, animals, their habitats and other talking points relevant to particular states. The conversations are endless! 📸: @three_with_me -

"When you educate a girl, everything changes." These beautiful notebooks going out with the February Nisaa Boxes are from the charity @onegirlorg 💚
If you don't already know, @onegirlorg has a huge focus on the education of women and children in Sierra Leone and are creating a change, one step at a time.
Over the past year, Nisaa has been raising money and awareness for this charity through our Donation Box, and we wanted to continue that into this month.
We hope this gift will inspire our subscribers to write down their dreams and continue working towards them, as we do our little bit to contribute to the education of young girls #onegirl#knowledgeispower#educationmatters

Which one are you? 1%er or 99%er? .
Doing something different is always challenging at first. The only way change can come about is if you take the first step.
When I started my journey I leaned on people who had already achieved what I was trying to achieve.
Now it’s an absolute pleasure that cycle has flipped to me, now I help people who are starting out. .
Showing them how to build confidence, taking the #firststeps and where to start! .
Being a 1%er was the best decision I made! 😊

How do students’ revise their notes? Providing an annotation key can help to develop consistency in their study techniques. Annotation helps develop skills in recall, categorisation and prioritising information. It also emphasises where the gaps in their notes may be. You can download a blank annotation key from our blog - link in bio.
One of the few anchor charts I use from the beginning of the year with the Littlest ❤️ tbh I’m not a huge fan of creating anchor charts because it’s time consuming (for me) and I’m not great at it 😅🤪. What works best for me is creating slides with my kids that I can project onto our board when we need a helpful visual reference etc. (which is why most of what I offer you in my shop can be projected onto your interactive boards)! Anywayyy- I love this chart because it rings true of what I want my little writers to be able to do! We cover each step with LOTS OF PRACTICE. Not one step is more important than the other. I MIGHT even have a little freebie in the works for you outlining these steps too! Stay tuned 🤞🥰🤪
✅Are you an anchor chart queen or are you more like me🤪?! Let me know below 👇🏼 or tag someone who would love this easy/effective chart (there are a few things I’d change on it in terms of this time of year though)! Also if you know the original creator let me know! I have had this for years! 🤪👏🏼For more writing tips and tricks- be sure to check out my “K Writing Tag” with @sweetforkindergarten and @kindershenanigans 👏🏼😍

When I told this little girl (from the @ombirfoundation) I was visiting her school that day, she got super excited. I think she explained me the name of her class about 7 times and quizzed me a couple of times to see if I had remembered.
Later that day, before we even had time to look around for her class, while walking the school yard, I already heard ‘Aylaaaa! Aylaaaaa!’ from one of the rooms. I saw her standing up, waving like crazy with the biggest smile on her face, followed by the realisations that she just disobeyed the teacher by shouting and sat right back down again.
End of a beautiful weekend spent with my Princess. A week off from her mocks, after months of sacrifice, revising for her exams.
The only thing she asked for, was to see Kehinde Whiley, The Yellow Wallpaper Exhibition @williammorrisgallery@kehindewiley
She loved it, but wished that he showed more. But from what she saw, took so much inspiration from the subject matter. Everyday people in which she could relate to. Captured and painted in such a regal way.
Job growth in STEM fields is currently outpacing the overall job growth in America. That means that 2.4 million STEM jobs in the U.S. are going unfilled. But universities are only expected to produce one-third of the graduates needed to fill those roles. That’s a vast gap in STEM talent. The leak in the pipeline happens to be in a place no one is talking about: in advanced math classes. Calculus, to be specific.
For thousands of students, calculus is a frustrating barrier to a STEM career. Women are 1.5 times more likely to drop calculus, simply from a lack of confidence rather than ability. Yet nearly every STEM job requires at least one semester of it.
It is only appropriate that a STEM problem is solved with a STEM solution. Could using AI for providing a more personalized education tailored to every students learning style be the way to solve our gap in STEM issue? One thing is clear, If we can alleviate some of the pain points around calculus, we may see more students awarded STEM degrees.
