To start off this freshly baked account I thought that maybe some of you are interested in how the RX-7 looked when I first bought it 2 years ago 🤔
A little background information first... The car is a RHD Japan import which was imported to Norway in 2005. I bought it with only 72 000 km on the clock and never winter driven. The car was close to stock, and was taken good care of by the previous owner who did not know alot about cars but drove it properly and had it serviced by a Mazda dealer every time it needed some repairs/service.
As you can see there is very little done to the car, except a few modifications to the exterior as a fiber glass front bumper, a black hood, bigwang gang mounts on the trunk etc. The license plate weren't even centered!
The engine also had a couple of mods done to it like open airfilters, a big fmic from Autobahn 88 with rusty pipes, and an upgraded Autobahn 88 radiator. •
All of this was done in Japan as far as I know, and they also decided to cut the front bar in the engine bay open to fit the intercooler pipes instead of just drilling a hole for it...
By the end of the day the car was in fairly good shape except having some boost issues but with absolutely no rust. A great starting point for my imagination to make a change, even tho the paint job was VERY bad!
I had never ever worked on a rotary before but I started off by pulling the intake, and sorting out the boost issues, starting with the famous rats' nest... You could say I found a few cracked pipes 🤸🏻♂️
Swapped a few pipes (every single one) into high grade silicone pipes from Autobahn 88, and the car ran alot better under boost after this.
Stay tuned for more!

A Tribute to Karl Lagerfeld:
The White Shirt Project Endless' Creative Tribute
To celebrate Karl Lagerfeld's memory and legacy, a global community of creative talents has come together to reinterpret his most iconic design: the white shirt. British artist Endless is one of the creatives amongst other icons like #KateMoss , #TommyHilfiger , #CaraDelevingne , and more.
Endless has portrayed and celebrated Karl with his artworks for many years and has always found him to be a constant source of inspiration. The artist collaborated with the Karl Lagerfeld brand for the launch of their SS20 collections at Pitti Uomo in Florence earlier this year, with an iconic portrait of the late stylist and designer.
For his white shirt design, Endless has incorporated his classic street-art techniques such as spray painting and stencil work, using a simple palette of black, white, grey and silver to reflect Karl's love of simplicity. A portrait of Karl is depicted on the back as the focal point of the design and a celebration of what will certainly be an endless legacy.
The White Shirt Project will be brought to life on September 25 at the Maison Karl Lagerfeld during Paris Fashion Week.
Nonostante il caldo opprimente di questi giorni, sto molto fuori.
So fin troppo bene quanto questa bellezza sia effimera,
come rapidamente si accomiata ed io sono così bramoso,
così avido di questa bellezza dell’estate che declina!
Vorrei vedere tutto, toccare tutto, odorare e assaporare
eppure fulgide come gioielli.
