Do not be afraid of getting lost.
Dream with the dreamers and reach for the unthinkable. Explore with the explorers and find extraordinary places. .
Do not be afraid to leave where you are.
Be brave enough to leave comfort aside and discover endless possibilities. Be wild enough to leave the world behind and meet extraordinary people. .
Put down the map and let curiosity guide you. Push past your fears and give in to adventures.
Throw the book out the window and follow your heart. Toss the rules you set aside and just enjoy the journey. .
You may just lose your path, lose your way, lose your logic.

Breakfast with daughter and friends. Enjoy the journey of life by choosing happiness. Stay strong and + keep going 😇
I have been posting for a while now about Oola... it is an amazing system that can totally change the way you look at how you "DO" life. I have been an Oola follower for the last 3 years. I read the first book in 2017 (I was gifted the book) I loved what I read and I saw that they had a FB account and an Insta, so I started following them.... the messages were positive, encouraging and resonated deep with my beliefs.
When we went to convention in 2017 I actually got to meet the Oola Guru and the Oola Seeker, listen to their story in RL (I ugly cried) I got to see the Oola 🚌 up close. I even put 3 goals on it and it was awesome... it had an impact on me .... Last year I felt a strong need to make some changes. I was feeling stuck, unhappy, and just not well over all. I took a leap of faith and invested in myself and did the 10 week personal development course. I needed to pin point where I was at, what I felt I needed to change and then the action steps to get me started.... I started to work the program.
At that point, I determined that Fitness or my health was a major priority. If I made changes in this area, it would have the biggest impact overall. I was living with chronic pain , my weight was out of control again and I was feeling burnt out! Life sucked... I vowed that I was going to make the changes necessary... Jan 1 I said NO MORE - I completely changed my eating habits to what I intuitively knew was good for me. (Gluten, corn, rice and other processed foods were gone) I started to feel better! The weight was starting to come off... the back pain was reducing ... so then I went to see a Naturopath to confirm my suspicions.. She gave me a list of things I had no idea where fighting my body... she made me appreciate that corn also meant corn starch, corn syrup, and other "corn " related things... she made we more aware of reading lables ... that "natural ingredients" can mean things on my hard NO list.... This has inspired me to continue to work the program... to set daily goals or action steps... if I do one or two things daily, (which is totally doable!) that is at min 365 steps toward my goals! If this speaks to you let's connect!

Motivation is fleeting... Dedication is key 🔥
The new year motivation is coming to an end as we enter month 3 of the year (March duh) 😅 and of you are someone that has given up on their resolution that is okay! No Shaming Here! Let’s try something else, maybe your goal was too broad or too big to start with. Think smaller (not easier)/ more specific. If you want to get healthier try setting your goal to one outside walk for 30 mins or 6 hours of sleep every night. Health is not all about how much you can lift or how little you eat. Health is mental, physical, and emotional. I think that is why I am so committed to helping people because there is not a one way ticket to the healthiest you! I’m here by your side rooting for your success ❤️

Life is so much better when you are laughing 💕
Today I was able to get to know new people that are working hard to make their dreams come true. Is a great feeling to be surrounded by people that want big things in their lives.
Monat has given me so much more than an extra income, it has literally changed my life. “The harder you work for something, the greater you’ll feel when you achieve it.”
There’s a lot of talk about not comparing your life to another person and that’s great advice. But What about comparing how your life use to be versus how it is now? .
In the daily battle to be content with what God is doing in my life, I know I shouldn’t focus too much on the future because then I’ll miss out on the present. But today I was reminded not to focus too much on my past either - even the good moments. What God did then was good. And what He’s doing now is good too, it’s just different. .
If we want to fully enjoy our present we can’t get stuck comparing our seasons. If we do, we’ll believe the lie that our best days are behind us, or that God has forsaken us because of the change we’ve experienced. .
Personally, I’m in a transition season. There’s a lot happening in my life that I’m trying to be present for and see God in. Everyday I’m tempted to think about the seasons that were more fun - when I wasn’t so tired, work wasn’t as demanding, and I had more time for a social life. But the Holy Spirit reminded me that now is a different season. You can’t look for things of Fall in the Spring. Each season serves a purpose. To get the most out of our life we have to let go of what was and embrace the new thing God is doing. .
I say this to encourage you. All is not lost. You may find yourself in a dark or quiet season, or you may finally be on a mountaintop after a year in the valley. Either way remember this - seasons always change. This is not your forever, it’s simply your now. So embrace it because God using it for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28). .
⠀⠀ “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.”

Age is a question of mind over matter... if you don’t mind it doesn’t matter!. - Satchel Paige
An accidental light abstraction🤩 There are happy accidents out there, and even when some accidents or missteps feel less than happy ... I promise there is light, hope and happiness on the other side...in time! •
2006 I was in a pretty bad car accident. We were flown to Shock Trauma to be treated. This became just the beginning of a 7 month stint of multiple hospital visits ... per week, to Johns Hopkins. 3 months into this I was diagnosed with PTSD. But the multiple visits to JH were not for this and what we would learn is that I was having an atypical presentation of disease triggered by PTSD. At that 7 month mark, mentioned above, is when I was finally in the office of Dr. Seo who had answers for me: Crohn’s Disease. •
I began calling this accident the Best-Worst thing that could have happened to me. My entire world had been flipped upside down and I learned a lot about human resilience from coming out of some of these darkest moments in my life. •
Wish I could say this period of time was the first or the last time life had teach me the hard way. Still A LOT to learn; more so, I never want to stop learning (maybe not the hard way so often, if possible) because of the bits of growth and perspective on the other side.
My point is, no matter how dark it gets out there learning life’s curveballs, lessons, the journey, whatever have you - there will be light. Sink into those moments and remember them.
If you’re down to hear more about my life journey - stick around ... I’ll share more tid-bits. No matter what I’m here for you ... if you need an ear, reach out. I get the importance of talking it out.
I’m learning I can’t wait for things to be perfect to start enjoying life.
For so long something in me said, “You have to wait
until you look a certain way
or accomplish certain things
to really start enjoying your life.”
This is more than mere perfectionism...
it’s an assault from the enemy.
God never meant us to be robbed from the glorious now
right where we are,
whatever may be going right/wrong.
So here’s to pressing into the present and enjoying today just as I am. #godisgood#enjoythejourney#liveinthemoment

This has been a terrible week!
Chase was sick, I got sick, my nutrition was awful if I even decided to eat. Endless stress, anxiety, and sleepless nights this week.
Each week isn’t going present itself in a routine and schedule that you are use to. Life happens and only thing you can do is go with it.
Now that I’m feeling better, I’m ready to dust myself off and get back to it. Today is about recharging and getting stuff done!
How are you sending your weekend? #mindset#freshstart#saturdayvibes#nomoresickness

Tips to stay on track when you’ve got a full social calendar
Someone in our accountability group recently asked how to not undo all your progress but still enjoy yourself when you’ve got lots of social events. It’s such a good question! I struggled with this for a long time too until I learned some hacks to help me avoid completely undoing all my hard work.
1. Get active early that day. A workout, a walk, something that just gets you moving for at least 20 minutes
2. Save your carbs portions for the event or later in the day. That way it can count for a cocktail or a nice little dessert 🍷
3. Bring a dish that sounds good to you but fits in with the portion control/plan for your day. Or research the restaurant you’re going to ahead of time and plan your meals for the day to include that. This also helps you avoid making an impulse decision just because everyone else got the burger + fries 🍔
4. Eat something before you go. I always will make my superfood shake and drink it on the way to an event where I know there will be lots of good treats. It helps keep me full when I arrive so I don’t head straight to the food table (my normal hangout) 😂
Drink lots of water and most importantly, enjoy!! Being present in the moment with the people you love is way more important than that six pack peeking through 💯
Good luck to everyone competing @wodapalooza this weekend!!! 💪🏻
This is my 3rd year since I’ve not been able to compete there...and each year as much as I love seeing all the videos & pics...I would also feel angry & sad. Not being able to do something you love and enjoy (in the capacity that you want) sucks. And ...... it’s allowed to suck.
I will say this year is the first year though I’ve been able to have ALOT less sad & feel more gratitude that it was something I got to experience at that level for multiple years! Healing can be long, has ups and downs, and often takes work.... but it does happen!
