Culture Change is the brand im building. I believe 101% that culture plays a huge part in our society and in out lives and this has been a proven fact for ever now. Culture is responsible for the way we eat, act, think, and dress. And for a long time I didn't what culture I came from or what culture I belonged to. Until I got older and someone introduced me to the culture of poverty which consists of bad financial habits, lack of self discipline, and emphasized a sense of selfishness rather than self less ness. So I decided to change that and I decided to change me in the process fist then change the world. It's a lifestyle brand not a movement

We all constantly see new companies get funded. We see their office size, team size and valuation and feel we can also achieve that.
If you wish to change yourself from wantrepreneur to entrepreneur do become serious about your work, in reality, they are wantrepreneurs of hard work team put in. You should see their commitment to their work. Successful entrepreneurs are really serious. Everyone wants that but not puts those efforts and that is why they feel they are entrepreneurs but in reality, they are wantrepreneurs.

I went to the @blogher conference this past week and was so fortunate to hear @sarahjessicaparker be interviewed by @samskey7 about the launch of a new wine company, @invivoxsjp . As you would expect she was funny, gracious and inspirational. It was refreshing to learn, that despite being a famous actress, she still had to work hard building a business and learning new skills. Btw, they passed out glasses of the @invivowines & it was delightful.
Do you sometimes have the feeling you and your co-founders are working crazy hours every day? Whereas the people you've hired... not so much?
Well, some people blame the lack of ownership culture or just the fact that people want to have an easy life. But actually I find that the real root cause is about not sharing enough knowledge, not enough information. So that people can actually do their job without constantly having to wait for answers.

When I graduated college and commenced my professional journey I quickly realized there was a lot I did not know. While I lightly considered continuing my education, I was earning good money and was tired of traditional schooling. I wanted to get to work. So I began to round out my skill set and teach myself through reading, and the trial and error of experience. I rapidly consumed books, many times late into the night. My choices ranged from Public Relations for Dummies, to historical business chronicles like Barbarians at the Gate, to business philosophy books, including The Dip by my rabbi Seth Godin. None of these books, though, have had the ongoing impact of Good to Great: Why Some Companies Make the Leap…and Others Don’t, by Jim Collins. Not only did it have one of the most amazing titles in the history of books, Good to Great provided a reliable blueprint for what it took to go from average to awesome.
Good to Great is based on a research study in which Collins and his team identify “companies that generated cumulative stock returns that beat the general stock market by an average of seven times over fifteen years, better than twice the results delivered by the companies considered the world’s greatest, such as Coca-Cola, Intel, General Electric, and Merck.” Keep in mind this book was released in 2001. Once the companies were identified, Collins and his team studied the practices of each organization and extracted seven key competencies the companies shared. Over the last fifteen years I have continually returned to this book to check myself against those competencies, and ensure that I am doing my best to make decisions aligned with these findings. With this in mind, I felt compelled to share these competencies with you, as it seems this great business book no longer has the visibility it once had.
My son's public speaking career is starting early... He has been getting up to speak for a few years now. At first, he was extremely nervous. However, his passion for sharing the message is greater than the fear.
Is your purpose, mission, passion and goals more powerful than your fears?
Nine years ago, we started to make our dream a reality. This was our first test run, which we made in a small, regional ice cream facility. It was so exciting. We wouldn’t know how long the road ahead would be or what we didn’t know. We had our two dogs, each other & gumption. #mondaymotivation#letsdoit
So often, I hear freelancers complain about not getting paid for their expertise or being shocked to learn that people didn’t expect to pay them for “advice”. We can’t continue to hit these walls and we won’t once we set the intention from the beginning! Instead of offering help, tell your potential customer that anything past a free consultation WILL cost them. Make sure both parties are firm on what will happen moving forward. Intention eliminates confusion! #communicationiskey 🔑

This is so true in life... sadly many people won’t believe in you and will laugh at you. But later in life once you do achieve those dreams the same people that made fun of you will tell everyone how they were in the same high school as you 🥴 .
