First let me start this post with saying I’m a “Human Being” I don’t classify myself as anything other then being Black/African American decent. When I first decided to start expressing my inner being and how I felt on the inside, I can honestly say I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I just knew this was a struggle I dealt with for very long time. Since I was very young 6-7. I was never looking for clout, money or attention from men because that’s something I always got. I really did it for myself and my own reason in a quest to find myself, and to finally feel whole not perfect but whole. It’s only been 9 months since I been living full time with the hair, nails & “women” clothes. Tbh This is honestly the happiest I ever been I see the person I always vision. But can I also be honest there’s days where I just want to go back and hug that “boy” and say you are loved you are talented, beautiful and worthy. You are a King & no matter how unworthy your “own people/ own kind” may make you feel keep Going! To all the trans girls who identify As “trans” you are loved too. It’s not easy understanding how you can be born one sex where “society” is telling you suppose to be wear blue but you gravity towards pink. I get it I been there. Being trans is not about “exposing men” “prostituting” or “tricking”
People. There are good in bad in everything every race and every culture. You must hold yourself with respect first, we have to respect others as well if we want others to respect us. Anyway’s lgbtq Community I say all this to say love yourself respect yourself & treat others how you want to be treated. -Courtney💋 #equality#lgbtq

"Perhaps if angry little girls were heard instead of silenced, there wouldn’t be so many hurting women struggling to understand and unconditionally love themselves.
Perhaps if tearful little boys were comforted instead of shamed, there wouldn’t be so many angry men struggling to express and empathize with emotion.
And vice versa.
Perhaps if children's emotions were understood instead of punished, there wouldn’t be so many armored people struggling to be connected and authentic.
Children need to feel all their emotions, without fear of rejection or pressure to protect a parent to mature into their healthiest true self.
Being hard on children does not make them stronger. People are strengthened through compassion and understanding, regardless of gender or age.
We have the power through courage to raise ourselves and children more consciously and compassionately than the society we're in." ❤@lelia.schott

There are so many socio-economic barriers to accessing justice that we take for granted. The Gov'ts of Jamaica and Canada in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme have embarked on a sensitisation programme across Jamaica to sensitise providers of justice around those barriers and how to consider the socio-economic realities of those who seek justice and to put special measures in place to ensure their access. Simultaneously, communities are being sensitised about what justice should look like and which agents of the state are there to assit.

@nike Goddess of Victory (Greek) .
Today is another #fridaysforfuture . The objective of this initiative is to raise global awareness on climate change. Many kids around the world have opted out of school today to show support for a global initiative.
Having recently visited Cuba there's probably a couple things you didn't know. As a country who's economy is heavily influenced by travel and tourism it attracts a lot of people across the world to visit. Due to this high volume, they have amassed large amounts of garbage/recycling that doesn't get dispossessed of properly. This isn't meant to defer you from visiting it is only here to make you more aware of your impact on this planet. .
Fun fact: Nike's symbol is based off of the Greek God Nike Pg. 2

People are beginning to pledge to not have children until the government does something about climate change as a petition against governments that are ignoring the problem. The #nofuturenochildren movement was created by, 18 year old, Emma Lim. She explained her trust in the government has slowly faded away so she decided to take this into her own hands.
My thoughts on this are definitely complicated. I like the movement and I agree with it but, with that said, I think it’s important I mention that we all need to keep on coming up with ideas and working in small groups. Every community has to work to clean up and to advertise biodegradable materials and to plant trees and to find new ideas or techniques. We work as a group of large numbers with everyone doing what they are good at to help each other. We don’t work as two forces fighting and we need to stop that from being the reality because it’s hurting us. Honestly, I’ve never been hit so hard until over the summer I was talking to my friend who, may I add, is probably the smartest person I’ve ever met said, “Rosa, I know I’m going to die. We have less than two years before we can’t go back and everyone wants something to happen but nothing is. In what world am I going to live? But I’m okay with dying.” I couldn’t believe someone had said that to me. Nobody is doing anything and everyone is waiting for nothing. Just do something. Anything really. Plant a tree. Bike somewhere instead of using a car. Advertise ideas. Stop using plastic bags at the store. Avoid using paper. Turn off the lights. Everything adds up, for the worse or for the better. We can’t expect corporations to change if we aren’t and while that’s hard to admit that we aren’t right, it’s true. But don’t forget, you can always do something, trust me. If there’s a will there will almost always be a way, an I have a will. Do you?
(Also, always feel free to comment and have conversations in the comment section. I’ll try to respond as much as possible.)

Probably the most random thing I’ve ever created, may delete later lol. But here’s something //
• To the ageists - your long term objective will never be a success without a millennial mind. Your knowledge is limited to your sphere. Yes, it’s possible for a millennial to know more about topics than a 40 something. If you request for people with white hair (no jokes, it’s a criteria sometimes) you will get ancient strategies
• To the racists - there’s a reason why the CEO’s of majority of the companies are Indians/Asians. Looks will take you to point D, but knowledge will take you to Z.
• To the sexists - the more you yell or try showing superiority to a woman in public or private, you will be shown your place one day... by a woman
• To the bosses - Give us a shot. We are worth it. Do a months comparison you get from millennials work and your default
• To the people who spread rumors - Karmas a B*. To the person who did it to me and I was proly bout to lose my job, see what happened? I struggled for a few and I came on the highlights of the company’s website instead, for my dedication & achievements
• To the ones who keep their knees warm by snatching the shirt off of people’s backs - You will 100% climb up the ladder faster than us, but you won’t stay there for long. Hard work is the only thing that can maintain or improve your status.
• To the ones who hire us - You hired us cuz we’re good right? Do you think it’s viable for us to get exactly what you say and get a different outcome? Think again.
• To the people who believe hobbies don’t/shouldn’t exist when you have a job - Passion brings out the creative side in you. If you don’t have a job or your company shuts down/sacks you, who are you? What makes you happy?
• To the ones who interfere - Mind your own business. If I do everything exactly as YOU advice I become you. I’d never become ME. I am ME. I am Naomi.
