🇲🇽 Hoy fue sesion de cuerpo total. Hice modificaciones en los movimientos que requerian saltar. No he dormido bien los ultimos dias y mi cuerpo lo siente, asi que cuidado personal va ser mi prioridad hoy.
🇺🇸 Today was a total body session. I modified any moves that required jumping. I haven't slept well in the past few days and my body is feeling it, today self care is going to be my priority.

For all most all of you the work you do between 9 to 5 will never give you the greatest sense of fulfilment let alone get you into your dream car, house, relationship or the financial position you wish for every time a new bill comes in the mail.
It's the work you do on yourself and for yourself that will drive you to your dreams, your goals and a truly fulfilling lifestyle.

This quote by Jim Rohn has stuck with me ever since I heard it as a teenager and forms the basis of all personal development and growth.
So if you want to make a fortune then you have to work on yourself and develop yourself and work on those ideas and goals you have ... They won't happen by accident I can promise you that much!
Why do I say do it before work starts and before 5am?
Because nothing ever comes up at 5am... Nobody wants to hang out or go out for drinks after work and most importantly your mind is clear and you are FRESH and a clear mind is your most powerful tool!
Go make it happen at work but make sure you've already made it happen for yourself before you even get to work in the morning!

Training can be frustrating sometimes when we don’t get the results we want and there can be a variety of reasons why. Here are 3 common reasons why your muscle development might be slowed down. 🔺Swipe left for info on how to train right and avoid these mistakes🔺⏪
You’re not getting enough protein. Protein is one of the fundamental parts of muscle growth; not getting enough protein can be halting your gains. It is not just about getting in protein by grams from all food, when it comes to protein it is crucial to get your EAA essential amino acids. Not all foods are complete protein so pay attention to what you eat. For the average person you want to try and get between 1.5-1.8 grams per kg of protein per day. In my opinion the more the better. ⠀
Next you are not doing enough volume, if you’re doing only 1-2 exercises per muscle group you can’t expect rapid muscle growth. Workout volume is the key driver to muscle growth, so begin to add more exercises to your routine. Focus more on spending time under tension during the exercises as well to get the most out of the reps you’re doing as well. Volume technically should incorporate TUT. ⠀
Lastly you may just not have the genetics for it. It is possible not to be able to hypertrophy for some people or be limited. This people are known as non responders and it’s due to a smaller number of satellite cells. These cells provide genetic material for your muscles to sustain and grow.
The first 2 factors when it comes to muscle growth are modifiable and can be easily changed once identified in your routine. The last may have set a ceiling for you; however genetic potential can be compensated for with motivation and dedication.
