Day 6 | Van Life | Thursday 26 October -
I left Armidale and headed towards Tamworth. I stoped at a little town called Uralla, which is also where Holly did her first prac teaching. What a lovely surprise it was. I had a coffee and maybe a cake 😉 at probably one of the best coffee shops I had ever been to. Not just because of all the homemade food ( hello freshly baked goods on the counter just out of the oven 😍) but the building and architecture was gorgeous. I couldn’t stop looking at it. They also had a few bits and pieces for sale and I bought a gorgeous little leather bound note book. After waking around I decided to go back to same place for lunch it was so good.
Off to Tamworth I go, a bit of a horrible drive in a high top van. I felt like I was going to topple over on the steep curving descents. I arrived at a place I was planning to overnight at, but it was close to a main road, and I was feeling a little too exposed with just chickens for company. That’s the thing with looking up campsites online, you really don’t know what you are getting until you arrive. I took off to a farm stay nearby and had a way better feeling on arrival. I was still the only camper, but I was okay with that. I had a horse and a ginger cat for company this time. And a view for miles. At one stage it looked like it was going to storm. These wide open spaces were truely magical.
Make sure you swipe for sounds of Australian country, and then a quote that was in the coffee shop in Uralla that I think was meant for me 😂

𝘏𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘵𝘰𝘯 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘵 2 𝘏𝘳 𝘓𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘵 is currently displayed in the Manifest exhibition at 345AC in Mont Albert. The exhibition is on until Jan 10, but this piece can be taken prior to Christmas as a unique, one of a kind gift for your loved one or yourself
It was inspired by looking for parking with a limit of more than 2 hr in the area around the 345AC and not being able to find it
How many parking fines have you had?

We take our greens seriously over at @sagejamesstreet. So much so that we’ve wrapped our entire building in it.
