Watchtowers like this one were characteristic during the Vietnam war. This scene resembles Vietnam forest a bit, but actually this is in Dalmatia, southern part of Croatia. I was observing this watchtower since I was a kid and finally decided to do a proper visit.
The sun sets over the Nike Pond at Sandy Hook ☀️ Here’s a trick to remember: the sun always rises approximately in the east and sets approximately in the west so if you ever need to figure out directions, up is the way to look!
Directions aren’t the only thing you can figure out by the sun’s position; you can also tell approximately what time it is.
Hands down one of my favorite photos taken during my Yellowstone trip and also now one of my all time favorites!
It's really hard for me to rank all my photos against each other as I love them all so much for different reasons, though within just those from my trip this one here is only topped by my two favorite raven pictures (both posted within the last 7-8 days). The fantastic color of this water is caused by thermophilic algae which can only survive in the unusually warm environments created by geothermal activity. The water here is between 100-140 degrees Fahrenheit.
Being out during this sunset just took my breath away. Seeing the waves roll in and the surfers darting in and out of the water as the colours slowly get richer. It really is something to behold and I hope you love it as much as I do. 🏄♂️🛳️☀️

Follow the footprints and hike the paths of the ancient Spartans!
This is a unique six days trekking adventure on mount Taygetos, suitable for all those who seek an unforgettable trip at the highest mountain of Southern Greece, summiting at 2407m and offering stunning views all around its slopes.
Beautiful forests, blooming flora and fauna, gorges and ravines make Taygetos mount trekking a fascinating experience. Its highest summit, Prophet Elias, its name was derived from the homonymous chapel that was built there in ancient times, is one of the biggest natural pyramids in the world. A unique mountain crossing/trekking trip where we settle in picturesque villages and mountain refuges and taste rustic Greek cuisine.
I had a good walk this morning. Lots of thoughts I didn't want to have came creeping in. I just kept waking and let them come and go. Some are still here and some aren't. I realized in Yogaville I can't control the thoughts they will come and go as they please. I can however work on my attachment to those thoughts. I've been meditating every day for a month today, and I honestly don't know if it has helped, or if I'm telling myself it helped, hell it could just be placebo. Science would lead you to believe it helps, but honestly I'm not a science guy I'm a experience guy. I'm in a very weird, scary, and amazing place right now. I'm questioning everything, even who I thought or think I am. I don't see things quite like I did. #meditation#walkrva#explorenature#backatone#alone#selfcare#selfdiscovery#awakening
