Biggest thanks to our latest group from different parts of the United States for spending the week with us! @kimimarinwellness from Portland, Oregon, your yoga retreat was gorgeous and we are honored to have the opportunity to spend time with you and your students. Thank you all so very much for your generosity! Our visitors become family and inspire the work we do together and we are so lucky to have your support.
“I want to take pictures of things & places & people I meet. I want my mind to be in constant awe of life on earth. I want to see things with new eyes. I want to look at a map and be able to remember how I was transformed by the places I’ve been to, the things I’ve seen & the people I’ve met. I want to come home & realize that I have not come home whole but have left a piece of my heart in each place I have been. This, I think, is what is at the heart of adventure & this is why I plan on making my life one.” 💕
Where is your next adventure?

Bo-Kaap reminded us of Miami because of the bright colors. Why are there so many colorful homes in Bo-Kaap? It is believed that when Bo-Kaap residents bought their houses they decorated their homes with bright colors as an expression of individualism. After the apartheid ended, they painted their houses in bright colors as a celebration of their freedom. Bo-Kaap is one of the oldest residential areas in Cape Town 🏘

I love history and always wonder how people was living before. Very impressed with Mada’in Saleh, how people was at that time build such a big construction in the rocks.
Here a little bit about them:
The Nabataeans were one among several nomadic tribes who roamed the Arabian Desert, moving with their herds to wherever they could find pasture and water. These nomads became familiar with their area as seasons passed, and they struggled to survive during bad years when seasonal rainfall diminished.
Although the Nabataeans were initially embedded in Aramaic culture, modern scholars reject theories about their having Aramean roots. Instead, historical, religious and linguistic evidence identifies them as a northern Arabian tribe.
Enjoy your Sunday babes ☀️

What a mega day! Not the furthest distance I've done here in NZ, but at 1468m, I think the biggest day of climbing. All under clear blue skies and with great company (Lorena), once again! My bike has rear hub issues, so borrowing a large @evilbicycles#theoffering from @gravitynelsonnz
Up the Fringe climb, along Black Diamond (by far the most technical climbing I've found here), onto Sunrise Ridge (mixture of fast tech descents and short, punchy ups), then down Peaking Ridge (down, down, down, roots, roots, roots) which was mega fun, but really hard on the body. Grateful for a #29er though. Then to finish I punished myself with the climb back up to 629 while Lorena made the wise choice of following the Coppermine trail back to the carpark. 629 rocked, but I had some hairy moments getting round tight switchbacks with such a long bike. Worth it though and definitely recommended for advanced riders!
October 2019, Skopje 🇲🇰
As I wrote before.. when I travel to new cities I always like to find cool rooftop bars, where I can have a nice look on the city from above. How to find them? Just ask in the hostel, hotel, free walking tour or Google it! 😁
In the capital of North Macedonia, you can visit a really cool (and not expensive) rooftop bar in the Arka Hotel, which is located in the center of the Old Bazaar part of the city! 🏙
Hope you find my travel tips helpful for your next trip 🌍
Are you ever just living your very best life and make yourself sad. When you're so unbelievably happy and you realize wow i’m going to miss this moment while your living it.
Here I am,
In Miami with one of the greatest girls
With an agenda filled with nothing but workouts, adventure, coffee and life talks..
and thats whats on my mind.
We allow ourselves to get sad about the fact somethings going to end, when we’re right in the middle of it. Why do we think like that?
These few days i’m really trying to focus on all that we’ve accomplished in a short amount of time and all that we still have time to accomplish in a short amount of time. Heres to living my best life in Miami and not getting sad that its going to end!!!! Cheeeeerrsssss💓💓🤩

[ad] 🚗 How do you navigate when you road trip?
I just downloaded an app called @nexitapp for our upcoming adventures. Unlike other apps, Nexit only shows you destinations that are on the route you are traveling so you don’t have to double back or go out of the way.
My favorite feature is being able to search a combination of destinations. It helps make the whole car happy. Jacob is always looking for the cheapest gas while I love stopping by Cracker Barrel when we’re on the road.
What’s the next road trip you’re going on? Be sure to download the app before you head out!
