Mavora lakes is a beautiful place, it is also the harbour for sandflies so I walked out of there faster than I walked in 🏃🏻♀️
I am really soaking up this sweet and tender free as a bird thing. Life is about to be a lot different, and the feeling of excitement is often times swirling with the feeling of anxiety. It’s hard to tell them apart most days. The truth is I don’t know where I’ll be next week / month / especially year. Making decisions has always been near impossible for me, however aimlessly wandering alone in the unknown will likely not be the best thing for too long. Crossing my fingers and counting my lucky stars that i’ll get some sort of sign soon cause spirit knows making up my mind is a weakness of mine. #explorenz#livefree#wildwoman#travel
🔥2020 Waka Ama National championships 🔥..
I have been lucky enough to be adopted into this paddling family @phillis.meti@daze117hotmailcom@tapitamaui@phylmeti, Ma & Pet & @phily14. Although I wasn’t able to compete, I was able to train with these gals leading up to nationals when they needed a seat filled..
Having played such an individual sport for so long this brought me back to my competitive volleyball days, where you would spend endless hours with your team-training, laughing, managing expectations, outcomes & emotions..
The Waka Ama community that runs and competes in this event is HUGE with 406 races over 7 days.. and the event is very intertwined with the Maori & island cultures. Congrats to the @wakaamanz organization for such a successful event. ..
Swipe to check out photos and videos of how the races and paddling work! ..
Lastly this is the closest thing to a sandal tan I have had in the last 20 years (since I started playing golf and my feet are in golf shoes or trainers) 🦶☀️ .. #wakaama#outriggercanoe#newzealand#watersports#explorenz#paddling

Because that's what life's all about right?! Climbing trees, going for walks, finding views, immersing in nature and feeling happy with the little things 💚 .
Nearing the end of Arthur's Pass comes a hidden turn at the end of a bridge, known as Deaths Corner. However dont let the name scare you. Arthur's pass was one of the most enjoyable roads to drive along
One of the most beautiful parts of New Zealand; the power of Fiordland's scenery and natural wonders never fails to entrance travellers. .
Think of stunning fiords, spectacular waterfalls and snow-capped peaks, while you wander around in the fresh air, just like @svenjasaskia.

Cathedral caves has been one of my top places we've gone so far this trip, it is about a half hour walk to Waipati Beach, that is 100m down through a forest, I guess??, I don't know, it's a very peaceful walk and there are a lot of trees that are native to NZ, I like trees and foresty things and beaches so it zenned me right out.
I've become that guy. Legitimately craved and missed my green juice in the morning 😳 so baby's first acai bowl happened. Also a wanky vanity shot of me because I've lost enough body fat for me to notice and I felt good. Hiked through the Garden of Tane yesterday, definitely my favourite one so far. Also featuring my asthmatic ass.
Slightly less friendly - a couple of three-metre Bronze Whalers (or Copper sharks) coming in close to have a look at our catch. Doubt anyone on the Auckland-Waiheke ferry knew there were big sharks in the bay when they were shimming earlier in the day😝

The best dinner time was at this beautiful island of Waiheke. Sun setting beside the beautiful sea, the best winery serving the best wine (I guess 😅), and devouring their seven course dinner. Dinner was usually about food, but at Mudbrick it was more about better of conversations.
Is this one of the best photos you have seen of Milford Sound?? 😮
Milford Sound is a fiord in the southwest of New Zealand’s South Island. It’s known for towering Mitre Peak, plus rainforests and waterfalls like Stirling and Bowen falls, which plummet down its sheer sides. The fiord is home to fur seal colonies, penguins and dolphins. Milford Discovery Centre and Underwater Observatory offers views of rare black coral and other marine life. Boat tours are a popular way to explore.

Oops. Did I miss to wish you guys new year? Well, happy new year my beautiful insta family. I wish you dream daring things, live graciously, and be loved in a way that you have never been loved before.
Talking about my new year resolution, at least one for Instagram is that I’d like to post daily. I know that’s super ambitious for me, but I’d like to try, and if I forget, please be kind to remind me. ❤️
The happiness of eating a sorbet from the best rated place in New Zealand.🍦
To be honest, I was really looking forward to try this parlour, and it was more funky but scored comparatively less on the taste. They did have an ice cream with alcohol, but because I am not a fan of booze, I went with Raspberry with mustard seeds and mango something. 😅
Their portions are huge, and considering a non prominent sweet tooth of mine, I didn’t think I would finish it, but I actually did because I had skipped a meal to come to this. Costed about 15 NZD, I don’t think it lives up to the hype..
P. S. This image was before I ate it and I clicked it because the ice cream was nothing short of very instagrammable!
