Okay so confession: I’ve never had Ippudo in the US, only in Japan. That makes me really cool right 🙄 #ramendiaries

Dragon ramen 🐉🍜 vegan ramen made with organic brown rice yeast noodles. This place has ruined all vegetarian ramen for me in the US, the level of rich creaminess they’ve achieved with a vegan broth is unbelievable #ramendiaries
Weekends of beauty weather make me dream of tanned skin, beach hats and vitamin D ☀️ Looking forward to a proper vacay of sunshine #comingsoon

What better way to enjoy the experience of a @rentmyighusband Sydney Highlights Photo Shoot than to share it with your best friends? Our 1 hour photo shoot costs a flat fee of $100AU per group and is suitable for up to 3 people. For groups of 4-6 people, a 2 hour booking is best suited and is still only $200AU!
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”― Mark Twain
When schedules are jammed with work, travel plans and/or activities, it’s easy to lose sight of life’s little pleasures.
I appreciate every moment I get to experience with these cuties. They make my heart so full. Being an aunt is one of the best things ever! #sponsored ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We can’t thank @legolandflorida enough for this wonderful experience. We’ve been laughing so hard, in awe while looking at all the LEGO creations and shouting when realizing the rides were “scarier” than we thought they were. It’s been so fun!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Check out my IG stories or my Legoland highlight to watch all the fun.
Hugging my loved ones a little tighter after reading about Kobe Bryant. May he rest in piece. So sad 😞. I remember growing up and watching most of his games. My older brother is such a super fan and we have been so sad today while trying to continue the fun.

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Here’s to an other week where we can work towards our goals! 🌿☀️
The art and symbolism of henna has been used by Moroccans for thousands and
thousands of years. Henna is the result of leaves ground into a fine powder, mixed with water and applied to the body using brushes, sticks or plastic nozzles and last for several weeks. These intricate designs became woven into folklore as they were believed to bring good luck to the person who wears it. To this day, mendhi is applied at weddings to improve fertility, when planting crops to ensure a bountiful harvest, and to ward off sickness. So, the next time you’re in Marakesh, go get a deep scrub at a hammam then adorn yourself with this temporary tattoo to remind you of your travels when you get back home.

Some places just take my breath away! They remind me why I started traveling in the first place. I want to spend the rest of my life exploring and discovering those magical places❄️

Most definitely one of my favorite flowers right here 🤩🌺 the hibiscus reminds me of SUNSHINE and WARMTH and SALTY AIR 😍🌈❤️ All the tropical vibes, even in my own backyard (I’m praying my hibiscus tree will make it through its first winter, wish me luck 🙏🏼)
Is it just me or is there just something about flowers, candles, or a walk on the beach that just lifts your spirits? When I’m feelin low these all definitely help. But I feel like I also need an extra boost of energy to go with the good mood (sorry coffee, you don’t always cut it) to get moving sometimes. which might sound crazy as I find myself to be extremely motivated and determined at a crazy level most of the time. But I still have days where I just can’t find it.
👇🏼👇🏼Drop any tips on how you find that BURST of energy that gets you moving to tackle a project, activity, go to the gym, just so something, something that’s technically not “required” (like going to work or a meeting). My biggest thing has been just STARTING and then I get going. Like atleast putting my workout clothes on. or getting my computer out. But I’ve also found the productivity planner from @intelligentchange helping me so much this month, which has you do 25 minute time blocks and you time yourself. And if you get distracted you have to start over at 25, but I feel like 25 minutes isn’t crazy long so it feels so achievable. I was hesitant about it at first, but I’ve found it to actually help a lot with focused time and actually COMPLETING things in a timely manner.
🔺️ Choosing a good travel mate is as important as choosing a nice the destination. I'm so happy that my next travel mate is this amazing girl, it's going to be so much fun! 💃🏽 We decided to visit a famous summer destination during winter to force ourselves to explore the place properly and to avoid laying on the beach all day long 😂
Can you guess where are we going? 🌴

Why do I travel? I travel to feel joy, to feel strength, to feel fear and to overcome it. To feel the wind whipping through my hair on a bike ride out through the mountains. To feel awed by nature’s beauty. To feel friendships form from strangers. I travel to feel unsettled, to feel challenged, to feel free. I travel to feel everything
So, why do you travel? 🌍

Downtown in every city is one of my favorite places to visit. There's something about it that's just so beautiful, they have their own stories to tell!
Starting Spring 2020 semester with a chill evening in Downtown Plano, Texas 📍
Going from hot to cold pics! Snowy snowy time ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️ this winter has been unexpectedly calm. It really only snowed like a few days ago. While I was taking some magical snowy photos, Murphy was having a bit of fun on his own! 😂 check out the thief 🐶🐶
Those who have dogs, who understands? 😂😂
5 tips for long-haul flights✈️
(save for later)
I LOVE flying!! I do admit, the thought of sitting in a little airplane seat for 8+ hours doesn’t sound all that fun but I swear it can be! I have collected a few tips throughout my years that I promise will make any long haul flight so much easier:
✖️Load up on snacks: even though the airplane does bring you meals, BUY SOMETHING AHEAD OF TIME! I personally get the weirdest cravings when I fly so I stock up on Nacho Doritos and cookies. I will even buy a sandwich🙊 (ps don’t buy it until AFTER security checks)
✖️Bring a pillow: again, even if the airline is providing one, i guarantee it will not be enough. The airplane pillows are usually so thin you might as well be able to see through them.
✖️Put some electrolytes in your water: personally, I like to put EmergenC in my bottle when I fly but electrolytes are also great. Anything that will give your body a boost.
✖️Take care of your skin: this may sound super weird but nothing is better than a face mask on a plane😂 not only will a giant sheet mask leave you feeling refreshed but you’ll also get some great looks from other passengers!
✖️Bring fuzzy socks or slippers: we all want to take off our shoes on a plane, it’s just more comfortable! So don’t forget to bring something comfy to change into. No one wants to be that barefoot weirdo on a plane!! (Tip: keep your hotel slippers and turn them into plane slippers) .

Fairytales are real if you are in Lapland❄️💚💫
Right at the beginning of 2020, i was fortunate to tick a lot of stuff from my bucket list. ✔️ Huge thanks to @aurorapyramids_elvesvillage , which has gathered everything and more to be done in Finnish Lapland, and turned my Lapland trip into a fairy tale. Every single person i met was great! Many thanks to all of you. 🙏🏼
Sometimes life moves waaay to quickly in this city 😅 I’ve had a busy week & weekend filled with events and lots of networking. One of the most important aspects of my job as a blogger is to get my name out there, in front of as many PR agencies as possible—telling them the story of my brand and how I can generate content and exposure for their clients, which include hotels, tourism boards, travel companies, etc. I used to attend a lot of networking events as a journalist as well, but a lot of times these events kind of terrified me, especially when I was covering real estate in Miami and was often one of the youngest and only women in the room. 😅 BUT now that I’m attending events focused on travel and essentially marketing a brand that I’ve built myself, I feel way more at ease, probably because it’s a topic I love. And it’s so exciting to present myself as a blogger—“of which outlet?”—from travelbycarlavianna.com. 💛 // sweater form @chicwish

“What is the fatal charm of Italy? What do we find there that can be found nowhere else? I believe it is a certain permission to be human, which other places, other countries, lost long ago.”
Still in CNY mood (初二) 🏮🏮🏮
Feel surreal to be at this place in person.. even though only less than 5mins inside the room until the staffs chase us away and we have to re-queue to enter the room again..
Forest of Resonating Lamp at TeamLab Borderless Tokyo is one of popular attraction and i think the most photo worthy in this exhibition.
Beware of long queue to even enter the exhibition hall.. We followed the advise from online reviews and we reached around 9.30am, suprisingly allowed to go in despite opening hour on website stated 10am.. We didn’t really queue when entering the exhibition as the line moving very fast..
There are no direction or map provided inside exhibition, you suppose to go and “get lost” exploring all the exhibition by your own..
At first we got difficulty to find this place and worried the queue start to build up as we heard that queue to enter this place can take up to hours 😱
We gave up and ended up asking the staff where to find this place..
Fortunately the queue not long and we managed to go in the room within 5mins and we even queue again to reshoot.
The staffs were concern when they saw me wearing skirt because the room floor is made of mirror. Apparently they will provide something to cover if you are wearing skirt and concern on the reflective floor.
If you ask me whether this place worth the hype? I would say yes, but once is enough!
Just provide enough time when you visit so you can take a lot of photos (i spent around 2 hours there).. I always end up with many photos at TeamLab exhibition that can be altered into different colour.
TeamLab Borderless exhibition in Tokyo is definitely much bigger than exhibition at Art Science Museum Singapore and they play with different level of sloping grounds which you might not be able to experience in Singapore.
