Always good to have friends join us sailing! Kaleena rejoined us for the final leg in Croatia from Dubrovnik to Cavtat. Unfortunately with the strong northerly we couldn't sail past the walls of Dubrovnik, something we'd always dreamed of doing... #sailingwithfriends#sailingaroundtheworld
Happy Sunday everyone! 😊
This is the view on the Manhattan skyline from the other side of the Hudson River, from New Jersey! If you ever decide to visit New York you should really consider looking for an accommodation in New Jersey near the Hudson River. ☝️ ⠀
Manhattan is pretty expensive and so I had find a cheaper way to stay in or around New York City. So I looked for Airbnb places in New Jersey and found a perfect one with a reasonable price and a great bus connection. It took us only 20min and 2-3$ to get from our accommodation to the heart of Manhattan! 😁
Up on @montesanostatepark at sunset yesterday!
We added a new page last night dedicated to just Monte Sano Mountain! Link in the bio. Click on local and look for "Monte Sano"
Just another landscape shot.

What a photogenic place this country is. Even rocks look like pieces of art. It kinda reminds me of an elephant, though Icelanders believe that these rocks are trolls which got caught in the sunshine and froze forever. Icelandic mythology is so interesting!
Who’s got fun plans for the weekend 🙋🏻♀️. The boys and I are headed to Orcas Island. We’ve lived in Washington almost a year now and have yet to take the ferry to an island, so I’m pretty excited.
Side note: I love this photo not only because of the two handsome dudes, but also because the unplanned matching reds that perfectly appease my OCD needs.

The hardest thing sometimes is knowing what to do 🤔
For those of you who might not know, once upon a time I worked in renewable energy, on control systems for wind turbines. I got into the industry because I’ve always cared about the planet. When I read about what’s been happening in Brazil, as a direct result of the government, it made me sad. .
This is the only home we have, guys. And when we make short sighted decisions to burn down the forest for profit, we’re hurting ourselves by altering the overall balance of the environment and our decision will be felt by everyone who comes after us. What’s happening in Brazil doesn’t feel right. .
I was speaking with a friend yesterday, and while we both agreed it was wrong, we equally agreed it was hard to know what to do. .
