Long walks + pretty homes. 🖤 |
Walked past this charmer by @thakkarandco in West University and couldn’t help but take a quick video! Love how they packed a punch on a smaller lot (there’s hope for some of us!) and used matching gas lanterns over the door and beside the garage. Ours are called the Nouveau by @primo_lighting_international. I posted another video a week ago of a home that used the same series by the front door but then mixed it up by the garage. Which do you prefer: matching lanterns or a mix? ✨
I absolutely love this time of day, you can hear all the birds - it’s just so quiet and peaceful. Just sat down on the sofa and going to catch up on killing eve, I thought it was starting to loose it a bit but really into it again!
Since having double glazing and new doors... The next job on the list was fascias! The original ones were quite rotten so over boarding wasn't an option for us so we had everything fully replaced all in white - ADB (Affordable Double Glazing) did a fantastic job on our fascias 💚

Y’all... seriously, this is such a hard decision! There are things I love about both designs, and several of y’all have already weighed in with your vote in my DM! So I thought it would be fun to play a little game of #whichonewednesday in honor of our Curb Appeal Design giveaway (check a couple posts back to enter)! I also snapped a recent pic of the exterior of our home so swipe to see that too and cast your vote below! 👇🏻
Another scorcher of a day .... blessed to have weather like this ...in such difficult times 🌈hope that you have been able to have a wonderful day, wherever you are and who ever you are with, don’t forget the people on their own pick up the phone, give them a ring, a FaceTime call or surprise them by sending a card something to make them smile. Sometimes it’s the little things in life that make us smile. 😀
Wednesday Wisdom | While white is a classic choice for windows, coloured windows are a big trend this year.⠀
Particularly popular for 2020 are grey frames. From darker shades like Anthracite Grey to heritage colours like Agate Grey. ⠀
Which colour would you pick?🏠⠀

Omega White Limestone. This was one of our 2019 Utah valley parade of homes. We installed the stone and stucco and it turned out amazing! @shelbycustomhomes@crstoneworld •

How do you barn light? I’m picking out some now for my own garage and deciding whether to go all copper, as shown here in this gorgeous @muskokalivinginteriors design moment, or to mix it up with a brass shade and dark extension arm. We get ours custom made in California by a company called Hi Lite, but lots of brands are providing great options (Capital, Kichler, Hinkley, Minka). What’s important to pay attention to: the width of the shade you want (make sure it’s not too small), the type of arm you’re using (straight, a gooseneck positioned up, or a gooseneck positioned down), and how far it extends. 🤓 What do you think? Are you into the barn light trend?
Anyone else thankful it’s Friday? 🙋🏻♀️ Insane week with client meetings and getting my personal house ready to sell while looking for our next home. Living by faith that we sell and find a new home is a thrilling experience. 😳
