Y’all, I went outside with my midriff showing and it felt fucking amazing! Never in my life have I done this. In 7 months I’ve lost 80 lbs and gone from a size 24/26 3X to a 12/14 L/XL tops and 16 bottoms (dat ass) 😲 The past week I’ve done sale shopping. It’s a great feeling not having to spend a million dollars on cute plus size clothes. You know why skinny bitches have so many cute clothes? Because they buy shit on sale for $5 😂 #aintthatsomeshit
This is real! This is me! I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be now!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Gonna let the light SHINE ON ME! ☀️⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Okay... but for real, who knows the song??😂❤️❤️⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY and an UPDATE!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
After being so off track while hubby was here, I’m back on my game and ready to kill it!!❤️❤️
Meal prep done, coke zeros stocked, built bars ready to go.
That's a nice plan for the day 😉 what about you? What's your plan?

Introducing by @alliedoesketo :
To my tight XXL stretchy pants. This picture on the left was taken at a concert and I wore what I did because I couldn’t fit into any cute, stylish clothes. I had stopped weighing myself because I reached 245 and couldn’t bear to see the scale any higher. I remember feeling devastated and embarrassed. I tried to hide behind Santa and any and everyone else I could when taking pictures. My husband is actually standing on the other side but my thought process was that if I kneel down, my body will be hidden better and the angle of the camera will not make me look as big. Y’all, I was in such a dark internal spot in my life. I know what this feels like.
Don’t let another day go by where you don’t put yourself and your health first. I was on a fast track to all kinds of things that would effect my long term life. You are so incredibly worth it. You don’t have to lose weight to be happy and losing weight isn’t everything but I know how horrible I felt before and I know now, how good it feels to have my food addiction under control and to be able to do things without pain, embarrassment or fear.
You are so worth it. You are so valuable. You can do it!
The left was already 80 lbs down from keto🥰

Kinda crazy to think I haven’t tracked macros in almost a year and a half after having a streak on MyFitnessPal lasting over 5 years....
I used to hate eating out.
Not because I didn’t enjoy eating out.
What I didn’t enjoy was the psychological warfare of trying to estimate the macros of the meal.
It was draining for me.
And thus I didn’t eat out that much because of it.
But this past year and a half, I’ve eaten out a lot more.
I don’t track it.
I just order mindfully.
I use my experience tracking my macros for many years to make smart educated decisions.
I keep it simple when I don’t feel the need to complicate it.
And I enjoy the meal and most importantly, I move on.
Learning how to track your meals eating out allows you to eventually not have to track them.
You learn the ins and outs of mindfully ordering.
And thus you eventually get to a point where you don’t have to track them anymore.
Just like the eventual goal of not having to track your macros either.
If you are not there yet, that’s ok.
It takes time.
Hope this helps and just want to let you know you are doing better than you think you are 🙏

Feeling so good about myself lately!!!
1 646 minutes ago
This time in 2016 I went to a wls seminar and knew before going I knew this was my last and final hope. Nothing else had worked. I was tired of living and I wanted to stop hating life. I wanted out of mny personal prison. I wanted to walk without b3ing miserable after a few steps. I used to be so winded just walkijng from the water back to the beach because of the sand. I would just sink. I quite literally woke up, went to work, came home and slept on the couch after eating, then went to bed. Every. Single. Day. I was too tired to have a life and when I did go out with friends it was for food. Everything was food. I don't ever want to go back to that place. Goodbye 400 hello 200. I'm not 150 like my surgeon wanted but I'll wear 200 or 212 (lol) with pride because I have a great life now.
My channel will help you lose weight in successful & healthy ways, will provide you with successful methods to help you get your body perfect.

I personally think people struggle the most with losing weight because of all the unrealistic expectations.
With all the detoxes, flat tummy teas, body wraps, etc. floating around the Internet making people think that quick fixes are the answer.
Coming from the girl who has tried everything, spoiler alert: THEY ARE NOT THE ANSWER.
It’s not exciting or sexy, but the answer is a calorie deficit, moving your body, and be patient AF.
I’d go back and do it 100 times over again. It’s worth it, it’s always worth it! ♥️

Apologies for not posting much recently dudes, the current state of politics has put my mental state into a spin and to top things off my beautiful cat has gone missing, just not really in the best place right now. Attempting to cheer myself up with a bowl of sprouts and chicken, some good old comfort food on this wet and rubbish evening... hope you're all having a lovely weekend.
“IS IT SUSTAINABLE?“ I hear a lot of people get super excited to go
On some “Diet” that cuts out this or that or you only eat meat or veggies, I then will see those Same people saying that they gave up Or quit. It’s not that they just can’t “Tough it out” or that they “Don’t want it bad enough” but it’s just they rush into something that’s too extreme too fast. 🍽The other spectrum is the people that are happy they lost 40 lbs in say 60 days but when they go “ok I’m going to just maintain now” they have no idea how because they weren’t being taught “balance” and the weight comes back. 🧗♀️Life happens and you face tough times so it’s great to learn how to eat for long term weightloss, I always ask someone “Can you see yourself doing this diet in 10 years?” They usually Say we’ll probably not. I then tell them, “well then that weight is most likely coming back”, you will be “Yo-Yo Dieting” it’s like being on the treadmill forever.
If this sounds like you, I recommend Tracking Macros and starting out with IIFYM which is “If It Fits Your Macros”. If this sounds like you comment “Macro” below and we can get you on the right path. #fatloss#fatlosstips#fatlosshelp#fatlossdiet#fatlosscoach#weightlossjourney#weightloss#weightlossmotivation#extremeweightloss#fattofit#fattofitjourney#fattofittransformation#obesetobeast#weightlosscoach#loseweighttips
Homemade burgers for tea 😍 now this was a beaut meal!!——————————————————————————— Life is about balance, and dieting for weight loss should never be boring, restrictive, and meaning you never eat the foods you love ❤️ anyone who does these things will stop, feel like they have failed, and throw in the towel, its as simple as that! You’ll get bored, frustrated, annoyed and probably end up binging as a result of the deprivation and gain more weight... ——————————————————————————— So eat the foods you love, but be mindful, and be in control of what you are putting in your body... eat healthy foods to feel good on the inside as well as outside, but enjoy the crisps and the chocolate too - remember no food is “bad food” - its all about the calories you consume, and being in a consistent deficit to lose body fat 🙌🏻 ——————————————————————————— One high calorie meal won’t ruin all the hard work you put in... just as one healthy meal won’t mean you’ll lose weight... ——————————————————————————— Ive lost 5 stone (70lb) eating food like this every week, but I’ve remained in an overall deficit so my body has burned fat for energy 💪🏻 ....yes some weeks are harder than others, and if I slip up I stay kind to myself. But if you want to change enough, you will keep going even on the harder days... Just remember to stay consistent, be positive, embrace the changes and know that yes, it won’t always be easy... but it will be so bloody worth it!! 🌟 ——————————————————————— #diaryofanewme#instafood#delicious#deliciousfood#burgers#burgerporn#homemadefood#caloriecounting#calories#caloriedeficit#lovefood#myfitnessjourney#myfitnesspal#caloriecounter#slimmingworld#wwcommunity#wwinspiration#slimmingworldmotivation#myweightlossjourney#weightloss#extremeweightloss#fattofit#fattofitjourney
“You have to eat the dream, you have to sleep the dream, you have to dream the dream
You gotta touch, you have to see it when nobody else sees it
You have to feel it when it's not tangible
You have to believe it when you cannot see it
You gotta be possessed with the dream”
I take it one meal, one workout, one day at a time. I focus on eating lean meats, complex carbs and veggies in every meal and if I fall short I get right back at it. It’s not easy, but it is simple 💗 #SideBySideSaturday
Here’s to GOING DOWN A PANT SIZE!!!🥳 I do this thing where I accidentally put my pants in the dryer sometimes and shrink them, so I’ve had a feeling I’ve gone down a pant size but haven’t been sure because all my pants are SHRUNK! 😅 Needed some new jeans though because I am rough on mine and what do you know?! I was right! Down a full pant size! Feels so good🤪 WOW! 👖💘 #nonscalevictory#nsv#weightloss#extremeweightloss#naturalweightloss •
P.S. that’s two pant sizes down total!😉

yet again another victory that doesn't get old...the hotel towel. I'm walking in the rain so no real motivation speech except it IS possible and YOU CAN DO IT.
Also, for those who continue to tell me I have no skin on my arms, check those bat wings...if you can look past the muscles. Perspective is everything.

Grateful for a capable and able body. I was chatting today at the office about my string of accidents that landed me in casts, on crutches and laid up for months on end. •
I scheduled a rest day today and mentally I needed to get to the gym. I have 5 trips coming up over the next 6 months and I want to look and feel better than I’ve felt in a long time. •
✨ My Guide to Surviving Party Season with a Gastric Sleeve ✨
* These tips may not work for everyone just from my own experience. I am 10 months post op. I Started drinking alcohol 6 weeks post op (naughty I know but it was absolutely fine)
1️⃣ Eat something before you go out, I usually have a normal high protein meal and add in some carbs.
2️⃣ Take snacks or be prepared to buy snacks when you go out. I find I need to eat something every few hours 1) to keep my energy up and 2) so I don’t feel sick (I do this if I’m drinking or not) so I’ll either take small snacks in my bag (not very glam) such as biscuits, jerky or a small protein ball OR I buy bar snacks when I’m out - which usually ends up being Crackling 🤢
3️⃣ Eat again when you get home. Again something small. I don’t know why but it helps. As carby as you can handle.
4️⃣ Stick to clear spirits and mixers. I find it really hard to drink wine, beer or cider. My go too is a Gin and Lemonade (just make sure it’s in a big glass and stir out some of the bubbles with a straw!) you might not be able to handle the fizz if you aren’t long out of post op but I’ve always been fine and just stir it so it isn’t too gassy.
5️⃣ Avoid shots. I really struggle with shots ! I used to be able to do 10 in a row 🤢 now anything you have to neck I personally cannot do. I can maybe do one at a push but it doesn’t feel great and my stomach wants to reject it.
6️⃣ Keep hydrated. Feel like that’s sound advice for everyone but have a water every few drinks or at the least before you go out and when you get home
7️⃣ Take your vitamins when you get home with a glass of water (I swear it helps)
8️⃣ Keep in mind you will get drunk way faster, but you will also sober up faster so I find just keeping my own steady pace and not trying to keep up with people works best.
9️⃣ Dont order a kebab at the end of the night - you won’t be able to eat it 😂
🔟 HAVE FUN 🙌🏼
I really hope that’s helpful to someone ! I could have done with some advice before I started drinking tbh 😂 I go out once or twice every month and have never had any problems since following all these steps (it was a bit hit and miss to start with!) and I don’t get ....
It’s not about your falls, it’s about your victories! Eventually my victories overpowered how many times I’ve fallen off. I’ve been maintaining hardcore and not making the best of choices food-wise. My carb intake has been higher than I would like... like going over 100g a day😱. I had a serious talk with myself and decided that today we would go on a family hike...again! ☺️ To get out of the house, breath in some fresh air, be in nature... so that’s what happened. Today I feel reset, but I can’t know what will happen tomorrow since it’s not here. All I can do is eat my meal prep and that’s how I can set up for success. I feel like I’m constantly learning about myself, the difference from a year ago vs today is that I’m a lot kinder in my words to myself and so much more forgiving. I plan on taking my body to a whole new level by my birthday in May🙌 #goals . I’m going to slip and fall off until I can get a hold of this, but the point is I’m trying! I’ll try again and again because I promised myself I wouldn’t give up and I refuse to 🥰. I have myself as my family depending on me. Another hurdle is that I quit smoking cigarettes yesterday... one step at a time 😌. I know I can do it
I post A LOT of comparison pictures, and I will continue to do that because I'm intensely proud of what I've accomplished/am accomplishing, but I want to make this clear: I LOVED MYSELF AND MY LIFE DURING THE "BEFORE". .
I hiked. I played sports. I went out on the town. I was in pictures. I got married to an amazing man. I excelled at a career. I did all of these things as a diagnosed morbidly obese woman and I wouldn't change it. .
Society/diet culture/that mean little voice in your head tells you you can't be happy until X happens. They LIE. You as you are right now are worthy of happiness and a life you're proud of. .
I know I'm proud of you - even if I don't even know you yet.
After 4 years on this journey, what I’ve learned is how much I love and admire that woman on the left. Despite crippling fear of failure, and against all odds, she mustered the strength to try one more time. She fought for her life. She never gave up. She made it through heartbreaking losses in her personal life and kept on going. She got back up every time she was knocked down. She’s an absolute warrior, even though she didn’t realize it. She is why I am who I am today. I can’t look back at her with disgust or shame. I’m so proud of her! She fought for her life and won it back. 150 pounds, one pound at a time, she won her life back. ♥️

Tis the season for pale bellies 😂 (and dusty mirrors 😒) I’m currently packing to head to Orlando for the @usta 18+ combo sectional championships!! It will be my first time visiting the national campus & I am SO EXCITED. I’ve been working hard on my tennis game & putting in extra time on the courts getting ready for this weekend, and my body has responded happily to the added exercise! My appetite has increased, which at first had me frustrated, but then I realized it was my body telling me to make sure I fuel myself enough. I’m still learning on this ever changing journey & listening to my body has been one of the hardest parts! It’s hard to go from “restricting” as much as I had to to lose 100 pounds, to now maintaining & making sure I eat enough. It feels so good to be an athlete again after a 10 year hiatus. This is who I was, and who I longed to be during the “lost years.” Making it to sectionals is just what I needed to make me realize that I really did turn my life back around. It feels really good. Don’t ever stop trying friends! Because these little unexpected victories along the way make everything SO worth it!
Registration for my NEW YEAR NEW ME challenge is open! Link in bio!
It’s been awhile since I’ve shared a “before and after” photo...mostly because I’ve been deep in thought about the message of a “before and after”. Yesterday was my 9th wedding anniversary, and I tried on my dress in a moment of reflection of my wedding day. .
Truthfully, there is no before and after...both of these pictures are just a part of my life, part of an ongoing journey. I am equally valuable in both. Equally worthy in both. Equally beautiful in both.
At the same time, I am inspired to see progress photos. After all, I started keto after seeing a “before and after” of someone else. It gave me hope, and made me feel like my personal goal of improved mental and physical health was within reach.
It’s important to know that when people post “before and after” photos, it’s not to shame other bodies of any size...it’s about sharing a much deeper and personal journey. In this photo, you can only see the physical change, but the mental health and mindset changes are what I’m most proud of. I battled depression, anxiety and self-sabotaging habits to work on my mental health, emotional eating, and low self-esteem. There is no after of this process...it’s ongoing, and I still have days where I struggle. .
All this to say, it’s okay to be proud of the things you’ve accomplished. This isn’t about a good vs bad body. We all struggle with different things, and a celebration of change isn’t made to put others down. We all have different goals and paths, and I’m cheering for each and every one of you.
Let’s support each other, there are no lines in the sand or sides in the health and wellness space. Love, support and positivity will always win. ❤️

STOP TALKING, START SHOWING ::
It’s enough already.
WAYYYY to many of us have lost time,
AND LIFE talking about what we know we should have,
Well guess what?
It’s December and what you put off until tomorrow you will put off until the next day as well.
YESTERDAY along with all your “good intentions” IS GONE.
What you have is RIGHT NOW!
It’s called TODAY!
What will you choose to do with it?
👇Drop a comment below naming what you WILL DO today!
I need to know you’re hearing me, and what I’m sharing isn’t just for you to read.
I need to hear that today YOU are going to stop talking and start showing up for yourself.
for those who are new, WELCOME ❤️ On 4-10-17 at 44 yr old and weighing 404.4+ lbs I made the choice to stop talking and start showing: I took babysteps and gave myself permission to be a turtle 🐢 learning to eat clean without depriving myself or eliminating or starving to see the scale move. I decided I’d done enough talking and I was worth showing up and showing out for!! I lost 200 lbs in two years being SIMPLE and SENSIBLE and now it’s sustainable. My focus now is STRONG. I’ve lost -211 lbs but gained agility, stamina, strength, dropped from size 32/5x to 10/m, Depression, anxiety, stress decreased: Energy, drive, attitude, altitude, JOY increased.
I believe we all have been endowed with the greatest gift every bestowed on mankind and that is the power of CHOICE. We can use it to work for us or against us: I hope to encourage you to be inspired to put it to work FOR YOU!!
