Never thought I’d post one of these, but apparently a crisis makes your stir crazy self do things out of the ordinary. •The quarantine snacks have clearly been good (or bad) to us.
•Thanks for kicking me constantly and reminding me that I’m not alone while enduring this scary time.
•PS- Please don’t judge my #stayhome hair.
My quarantine crew! Last night we got our photos back from Hayes’ newborn session and this one captures everything I needed at the moment. My husband, my boys, and my daily reminder. Be still, my soul.
I can’t help but think of the second verse of my favorite hymn. Be still, my soul. They God doth undertake to guide the future as He has the last. They hope, they confidence let nothing shake; all now mysterious shall be bright at last.
That has been the hardest part for me with this entire experience. The unknown of what is coming next, the unknown timeline, the unknown of our future. So when I saw this photo, not only was I reminded that at least my family is home and healthy, I was also reminded that all that unknown will me made bright. All I have to do is be still.
This photo from @elmphotographyid is an answer to my prayers of comfort through this difficult time.

My son is 13 now. One day he came to me and asked "Mum why do you always take a photo of baby's feet?" "Look how tiny they are. They are sweet and very cute" was my answer. He looked at his feet which are as big as mine and said "Can't imagine my feet were so tiny!"
Yes, my boy, they were. And I loved to smell and kiss them.
Kids are growing up so fast! Newborn photos are perfect memory keepers, agree?

My Saturday night is just full of TV gameshows... not only are the current TV options dreadful, they make me realise how bad my general knowledge is.... 😒
P.s. Sorry @bathy3688 this photo sums up the mood. Unintentionally brilliant, thanks Sophia 🙌🏼

You guys remember my friends Kelsey and Sean? The ones who suffered a failed adoption? Well they have finally gotten their little miracle. Sweet miss Navy. She is gorgeous! As much as I would have loved to go to Florida with them to do photos that was obviously out of the question. So instead I FaceTimed them and walked them through what I would do for a fresh 48 session. They sent me the images from their phone and I edited them. So these photos were taken by Sean! Such a special way to make things happen even in the mess of all this going on right now! .
I just have to post this of me and my babies 😍 gosh I love them so much . I love being the boy mom. Don’t get me wrong - everyday feels like a war and we count down the hours until dad comes home - but all this effort will (hopefully) pay off one day 😬😆😉and I couldn’t ask for more! I truly feel blessed.
