Spent my Saturday morning trying to see as many sport activities as possible. First up was CJs kindy gym. No photo because he didn’t want anything but a high five at the end. But it was cute af! Then to Baydos soccer. They won, game got really close in the final minutes but it was a solid win! And then to flics karate where I got to see her win 2 from 2 sumo fights with a boy twice her size! It was a good Saturday morning! Also got to see all the other nieces and nephew, brothers, parents, sisters in law, parents in law, siblings in law, cousins in law and all our friends for cuddles, chats, much needed catch ups and tree chopping! #aunty#auntyneicetime#auntynephewtime#weekendinorange#familytimeisthebesttime
My mini impromptu getaway to Portland/Vancouver has been the best! Crafting with my sisters, chatting, and dinner @bamboosushi with my son, brother, BIL and sister (it was sooooo good!!) I think the Green Machine sushi roll is now officially my fav sushi 🍣 of all time. I didn’t think I would like it because it has cilantro and I Do. Not. Like. Cilantro 🤢, but it was delish in this dish! #wondersnevercease . Afterwards we walked to @saltandstraw and accidentally ran into my other brother/SIL/kiddos! #perfecttiming . I had the yummiest vegan chocolate mint ice cream ever! What a great day!!!

We’ve had an awesome weekend so far. Yesterday we went to Joann’s to buy the stuff for Xzavier’s prayer mat he requested after watching the movie “I Am Gabriel” on pureflix. Amazing movie if anyone wants to watch it. Ate dinner at a new (to us) Mexican restaurant. Watched Snapped & worked on bubs prayer mat before heading to bed.
Today we ate breakfast at Golden Corral & headed to the theater to watch “Overcomer” which was incredible as well. I love the Kendrick Brothers movies. Stopped at Bahama Bucks for snow cones & came home where the boys napped. Enjoyed KFC for dinner & rented “Unplanned” for another movie to watch together. Tomorrow we head off to church & spend the rest of the Sunday as family funday Sunday! Oh and we got Buttercup a shark 🦈 costume. She hated it and me until we took it off. 🤣❤️ #MovieWeekend#FamilyTimeIsTheBestTime#LettingGodChangeOurLife#SharkCostume

WHY I ALMOST DIDN'T POST THIS PHOTO...read on.
Last week I was a little MIA due to hurricane Dorian coming. I had plans to go out with my hubby to prepare new content to post this week. Today is Labor Day and I wanted to really celebrate today with you all. Well, today I'm stuck in the house, but I'm happy. I'm spending quality time with my family. I decided to post this photo that we took a few months ago. I say all of this to say that sometimes your plans aren't going to go the way you want them to go but don't stop keep going to accomplish your goals. Sometimes it's better when your plans change. .
Did the hurricane change your plans too?

Dinner : Greek inspired salads with feta and a gorgeous seeded fresh roll on the side. Mum made a delicious balsamic vinaigrette, doesn’t get much better than that, if you ask me!
Returning back to the USA this weekend and time is flying by too fast. Why does that always seem to happen whilst traveling?
