I’M BACK! After a little time away from these photoshop concepts, I’m back with another “what if?” What if Case and IH never merged? I have created a retro modern version of the 80’s legends that are the 94 series Case tractors. There’s something about that era of Case tractors that we’re just nice looking, big and simple brutes and they did look good in the white livery 👌🏻 enjoy!

I know a lot of you know I’m a cattle farmer, but I also own a handful of sheep! These ladies start lambing May 26th! Super excited for a new crop of lambs ☺️
But in the meantime you can find me at the barn calving out 300hd of Cattle January-March.
Yes farming is a lot of work, a lot of stress but the pride we have in our animals & the reward that comes along with raising livestock is far better than any of the downfalls. We do it because we love it and it’s our passion, not to be millionaires 💗 #passionforagriculture#farming#farm365#agriculture#sheep#cattle#agmorethanever

The forecast on the farm today: sunny and 51 degrees ☀️ It’s almost as if God is saying, “Dear farmers, you worked intensely hard and long hours this past fall, so now I’m sending an extra month of mild and good weather to rest and refresh your families before another planting season soon begins!” Whatever the reason for these beautiful and rare temps in the middle of an Illinois winter, I am thankful for serving a God who provides beautiful signs of His existence. And today it was in the blessing of a rare, warm day on the farm without hats, gloves and snow boots! The Lord will indeed give what is good....
Inside warm and dry... Today this is my spirit Animal ✌️🐮😊

After a conversation last week, I had some #foodforthought on changing consumer demands. As farmers, I think we are really good at giving people what they want no matter what.
As people want different things from their food, we rise to the occasion and figure out how to grow or produce what consumers want.
But how do we balance those changing consumer demands with sustainable farming practices, priority on animal welfare and affordable foods with the overall goal of a safe and nutritious food system?
Especially when consumer demands may be in contrast to the other factors? For example balancing the demand of "raised without antibiotics" while keep the highest animal welfare and health of our animals.
I think farmers need to do a better job of communicating concerns when there is a new "fad" or "trend" instead of jumping on the bandwagon to gain a marketing advantage.
I know we are all competing for market space for our products, but collaboratively agriculture has to work together to make our food system possible.
Maybe before we add a new #fearbased label or something similar to a product to meet consumer demands, we should try to do a better job of opening up the dialogue.
Start with the why of why we do things. Then work through how to make it better to meets the needs of our consumers while not sacrificing our top priorities.
Just my thoughts for today. I would love to hear your thoughts!
