It’s not just kids, horses and dogs who enjoy snow ❄ also the cows Max, Moritz 🐄 who live at the @pfotenhilfe.lochen sanctuary, love to romp in the snow! ⛄️
The two oxen, Max and Moritz were a big surprise after pregnant Grete arrived at the sanctuary a few years ago. When she arrived at her new home, her belly quickly got bigger and bigger. We thought that food was the reason for her growing belly until it was confirmed that she was pregnant - with twins! Today, all three live together happily on the sanctuary💕 .

Preparing our next garden bed 💚🌽🍅🥬
We loooove growing our own food. It’s just so satisfying. We’ve filled this bed now with manure from the paddock, and are so excited to plant some more things! 💚 Knowing where your food comes from and tasting the love is the best.

"Uhmm, mooom why didn't you close the door properly?" 😇
She just put me outside for my morning-business in the grass, and then she forgot to close the door to our home! I had to show her that anyone - literally anyone can get in! 😅 So I walked all the way across the yard, by myself to do it!
I usually knock first, but she needs to learn...👩🏫 Just FYI, I'm not just left outside, she leaves me for 5 minutes with window and door open so that she can hear me if anything happens, just to prepare all the stuff she needs to clean my wounds 😉
Remember that I would always love tips, tricks and/or advice on treatments or things that could just brighten my day or even make me walk better 🥳
John 1: 29-42 The Lamb of God....John saw Jesus coming to him, and said, "There is the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world!..." A beautiful January day, perfect for a walk on the hills, but too early for newborn lambs, so I have revisited the lambs we saw last May! #lambs#storytelling#kidschurch#sundayschool#farmanimals
🐷🐷SOLO WORKING BEE - THIS COMING WEEKEND🐷🐷 If you are able to come and help us build Solo's enclosure this coming weekend (25/26 Jan) please get in contact.
Please be aware that Cranky's FARM is located near Stanthorpe, which is 2.5hrs south west of Brisbane, and you will require your own transport to get there.
Also, we cannot offer you money as reimbursement for your time but the Cranky residents are always eager to give lots of cuddles and licks (and the occasional head butt from Dave if you're really lucky). 😉
Day 8️⃣and final day of announcing our pet sitters goes to a girl I’m sure you all have met..
Hey guys my name is LeeAnne, as many of you know, the owner of GingerSnaps! I wanted to start GingerSnaps in order to provide a better option for not only my pets but for others here in town as well! Before moving here I studied biology pre-vet at Mississippi State, where I got to work at the vet clinic there, pet sit for the vets, as well as work with trainers there. 🐾After getting in touch with trainers here in town and working underneath them I began taking on clients here in town. My hope is to provide you guys with people who know how to handle all situations and allow you to feel safe with the person caring for your pet. We hope to be a place to provide information on community events as well as pet care tips! I would love to help you make your pet care a breeze! .
Set up a Free Meet N Greet with us to discuss your pet care needs..and who knows maybe we can talk you into getting a few surprise homemade treats?! 🦴 #dogsitter#dogwalker#petsitter#dogwalkerofwilmingtonnc#petsitterofwilmingtonnc#exotics#cats#dogs#farmanimals#aquatics@dogsofwilmingtonnc#catsofwilmingtonnc@tsgwilmington@wilmingtontoday@leeanne118

I try not to over share my veg agenda (besides showing you how delicious my food is all the time), bc I don’t want to be the preachy stereotype that everyone hates. But these goats got me feelin all sorts of ways so heres some food for thought
Food is truly a passion of mine, it makes me so happy & I am referring to all kinds of food, plant based or otherwise. My mom told me when I was in tee ball, I stood on base singing 🎶Everybody needs a little KFC🎶 & when I ran into home plate the first thing out of my mouth was “can we get a happy meal now!?” Seriously food motivated.. Sometimes my coworkers let me smell their lunches or describe their meals in detail so I can live vicariously through them & enjoy all the things I miss 😂 (bit of an odd duck). People don’t understand why I choose to give up so many things I love (fried chicken, biscuits & gravy, looking at you)
Hugging these pure, good, perfect creatures reminds me how beautiful all life is & how lucky we are to be able to cherish it. It reminds me how much I want to live my life in a way that makes life better for all beings, not just in a way that best serves me. If I can make small sacrifices (if you could even call veg nachos a sacrifice) in my daily life to make our home more hospitable to the kangaroos & koalas & wallabies & whales & sea cucumbers & allow them all to keep living their pure & perfect lives exactly as they’re meant to, then I’m going to do it. It’s the best way I know to show them all how much I truly love them
The more I learned about the environmental consequences of the meat & dairy industries, I realized that my one passion of food was having a negative impact on my greater passion for life, animals, nature & our truly awesome home. That realization made it so obvious to me. It’s simple logic & it’s rarely a decision that I struggle with
So yes, I do miss cheese & I still refer to fried chicken & b&g as my favorite food even though I don’t eat it, & I will continue sniffing other people’s lunches bc it doesn’t really seem like much of a loss, esp when you consider how much goodness can be gained. As much as I love food, I will always love our planet more ✨🌏💙💚🙏🏼
A suggestion was made to post baby photos of hopefully expecting mums this year... so get ready for a bit of bad photography in the coming days, though I'll try to choose mostly in focus photos. 😂 This is BABY PETUNIA! She is perhaps the one I am most excited to see lamb this year. Her lamb will be a multiple generation collaboration of my different bloodlines..and guaranteed spotty. Also, she is the reason a dear friend (@jerseyjennyw whom also runs @babydollsheepregistry) suggested I even make an IG account in the first place. So Petunia really started this (and I never expected so many to enjoy my little sheep!!)... and my photo's have improved a bit too in the last two years. Well, at least I can focus them now. 😂❤🐑🐼
