As my time at my first @mofarmbureau Annual Meeting comes to a close, I can’t help but reflect on all the things I’ve learned and all the people I’ve met 🤗
SO MANY of you wonderful people came up to me and introduced yourselves over the course of the last two days, and I’m just over the moon for the nice things you said. It truly means the world to me!
The theme for this year’s conference was “momentum” and that’s exactly what I feel as we wrap up today. Momentum for this business, momentum for Missouri agriculture, and momentum for the agricultural industry as a whole. Time to change the world, who’s with me?! #TheFarmStory#MOFB19
I’ve been using my time here and there to dream of next years field layout and the flower crops we will grow. Plans for next year include more floral crops that can be used fresh and dried. Would anyone be interested in a dried floral wreath workshop next fall? •
There are only 4 days left to vote for our farm! Go to the link in my profile to help us out. You can vote once daily now through December 13th. Your vote helps us move onto the next opportunity for the “Grow Your Future” award through Iowa Farm Bureau. There we will be able to share our new agriculture business and have a chance to win money to help invest in our flower farm.
It’s the opening general session of #CFBF19 in Monterey. CFBF President Jamie Johansson delivers his annual address. #advocacy#FarmBureau

With a total gross value of $430,492,000 wine grapes are the 2nd top crop in San Joaquin County.
Fun Fact: it takes one pound of grapes to make a bottle of wine. Lodi grows over 100 different varietals. 90% of US wine exported to other countries comes from California. Wine grapes are harvest during July through October while some varieties are hand picked must use a mechanical harvester. #ageducation#farmbureau
Well that’s a wrap! Grape harvest 2019 is over. It’s been a crazy last few days of harvest with all the fires and power outages in Northern California. I’m happy to be done, and about to pour myself a big glass of wine! Cheers🍷
Come support Mendocino County Young Farmers and Ranchers today at the Redwood Empire Fair. We are selling lavender at our booth from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM $5 a bunch or 5 bunches for $20.
We are located next to the livestock buyers sign up table!
Some of y’all never backed up a trailer while your dads yelling at you and it shows.
The irony of this photo is I took it early in the evening with a big smile on my face. Fast forward hours later, I’m not on my A game tonight apparently because I’ve gotten yelled at a few times. 🙄
If you work in the family business then you can relate to this. I think especially farming and ranching you can relate to this. Anytime you work long hours, run equipment or spend a lot of time working around family members you are probably going to upset each other at some point. I’m not perfect, I make mistakes. And sometimes I might deserve getting yelled at. Nevertheless it kind of comes with the territory of working in ag.
Let me know if you can relate 🤣

Thanks to the @thedairyalliance last week I had the opportunity to spend the day at White Rock Farms in North Carolina. We learned all about their milking process, cow/calf care, how they have incorporated sustainability into their farm, and all of the work that goes into ensuring the cows and calves receive the nutrients they need!
I always encourage consumers to know where their food comes from. I purchase milk from a dairy located in my hometown. Not sure how to connect with a farm to learn more about your food? Reach out directly to them or find an organization like your dairy council or farm bureau. Not sure how to do that? Let me know and I’ll help connect you!
