I was blessed to start off this wedding season in Costa Rica, my favorite place with the most lovely couple. I'm spoiled to now be heading to Jamaica in a few weeks for photo and video. What a fantastic 2019 it's been, I can't wait for 2020

The haka is a type of ancient Māori war dance traditionally used on the battlefield, as well as when groups came together in peace. Haka are a fierce display of a tribe's pride, strength and unity. Actions include violent foot-stamping, tongue protrusions and rhythmic body slapping to accompany a loud chant. The words of a haka often poetically describe ancestors and events in the tribe's history.
Today, haka are still used during Māori ceremonies and celebrations to honour guests and show the importance of the occasion. This includes family events, like birthdays and weddings. #fearlessphotographer#weddocumentary

When Megan printed and framed this photo for her office, FOUR of her coworkers asked if the water was photoshopped or if they had been photoshopped in 🤣
Seriously though, some places you just have to see with your own eyes to believe. We try to do these places justice in our work, but nothing will ever beat experiencing it for yourself. The sounds of a babbling brook, the smells of fresh pine and fir, the touch of crisp mountain air against rosy cheeks. It’s the experiences behind these photos that truly make them memorable.
