Fun social distancing summer morning:
☑️Grab donuts from The Donut Hole drive thru 🍩
☑️Pick up library book holds from the @wichitalibrary drive thru 📚
☑️Explore a local landmark! The Keeper of the Plains is a beautiful sculpture created by a Native American and Wichitan, Blackbear Bosin. This outing lent itself to a little Social Studies lesson, so between running on the bridge and climbing on the rocks, we looked at the exhibits and talked about our local Native American history and culture. I was pleasantly surprised how much we all enjoyed this spot! 🗺
What creative ways are you safely entertaining your little people? Seriously though, I need more ideas... 🙃
Last week, we found ourselves hiking to the bottom of Cascade Falls, near Banff. The trail was steep!! These two have never hiked a trail quite like this, and were very proud of themselves and their bodies. The views and vegetation were spectacular, as far as we're concerned!
