Sorry fellas this weekend's tips is geared towards the ladies! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Did you know that women are less likely to ask for a raise? Unfortunately, we can't instantly change the wealth wage gap of women earning on average about 78 cents to a man's dollar, and even less for women of Latinx or African American descent. However, you can take some time this weekend to get your financial sh*t together when it comes to your salary. Here are our 4 Tips for the weekend: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1️⃣ STRUT YOUR STUFF - Make a list of your measurable contributions to your team or projects that align with the goals of your department. This can help prove you can be trusted when it's time to negotiate. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2️⃣ BE A VISIONARY - Do you have a great idea that you think will be a money maker or be a change in the right direction for your company? Write it out! Plan out the possibilities, good or bad, with hopes to present to your management when discussing your increase in salary. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3️⃣ DO YOUR RESEARCH - Understand what a reasonable increase in salary would be for your role. Look on websites like Glassdoor.com or Salary.com to see where you stand in comparison to your industry peers. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4️⃣ Have the conversation - Seriously! Set up a time to talk about a salary increase. @ramit explains a great to approach this conversation in his best selling book, I Will Teach You To Be Rich. We totally stand by this method, we've seen it bring in the💰 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We hope these tips helped. Until next time enjoy the weekend, H.E.N.R.Y.s™! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #stashwealth#millenialmoney#Henrys#finacialfitness#personalfinance#millenialmoney#cash#financialadvisor#finaciallyindependent#money#financeblog#frugal#millenial#moneymaker#finance#financeblog#financeblogger#personalfinanceblogger#wealthbuilder#hustle#success#wagegap#wealthlywomen#salarytips#gettheraise#iwillteachyoutoberich#entrepreneur#finance#womenwithmoneyandbrains

Living paycheck to paycheck means you have to wait for payday before you can pay your bills because you don’t have any savings. Some people assume this is a normal way of life that is inevitable. But that assumption is totally wrong; living paycheck to paycheck is living on the edge - you are just one paycheck away without lights, a home, a car etc. So it is definitely not a good place to be.
There’s a better way to live, and it starts with living below your means but within your needs, trimming off non-essential expenses, paying yourself first and forcefully making savings a priority. Getting out of debt is key to breaking the paycheck to paycheck cycle; the less you owe, the more you can keep. And finally, having more than one income stream may be necessary to break this cycle - this is where side hustle comes in.
Breaking free from the paycheck to paycheck cycle is one of the most mentally relieving things you can do for yourself. It's not going to be easy but it is achievable. As you move toward breaking the cycle, make sure you are patient with yourself. You may make some mistakes along the way, but you’ll eventually reach your goals if you stay focused. Happy Friday!

Owning a home is AMAZING, but paying too much for one is not. Before buying a home, here are some foundational nuggets of wisdom to consider.
✅ You are debt-free.
✅ You have an emergency fund of 3-6 months of expenses saved.
✅ You have a substantial downpayment saved up - at least 10% (20% is even better).
✅ Your mortgage payment is not more than 25% of your take-home pay.
✅ You go for the shortest term feasible - you will pay less interest in the long run.

Arguably the most painful/frustrating part of student loans. I am borrowing money to finance my future at an exponentially rising rate, far greater than its worth. I was fortunate enough have grown up in a family that was ‘too rich’ on paper where I did not qualify for many government student loans, so therefore was required to take out private student loans. I wish there was a way that if a student was taking out a loan, since I am the one paying it, the main loan services not to go off of a parents salary. Why does it matter what my parents salary is, if my salary is zero and I am the one paying for the loans?
In regards to the interest rates, before refinancing, I was DROWING. Many months, the entire minimum payment would go directly to interest only and not a penny of it would go towards the principal. Meaning, I would always just keep paying that same interest payment each month and the balance would never go down. This was a shock to me.
I believe all interest rates through the government are fixed, but most of mine were variable interest rates. For my Sallie Mae accounts, I started at 8% (already very high) and ended around 10.75% - which is just criminal. For my Merck/University Accounting Services, the interest rate started at 6.99% and rose to 8.25% currently. During about a year or so, my value of that account actually rose when I was paying it off because I was not paying attention to the numbers, I was only sending the minimum payment for this account since I was focusing my energy and extra payments towards higher interest rate accounts. It turns out though with the rise in interest rate, the minimum payment would only slightly rise. Meaning – the interest payment was higher than my minimum payment. I was not made aware of this.
Through refinancing I am able to get lower rates – so that is the next step! Please be mindful of your interest rates and what portion they are of your monthly minimum and regular payment.
Setting up a daily spending tracker for myself. Before finally tightening down on my budget, I wanted to see what my normal spending habits were. So far it has been a lot of unnecessary eating out expenses. This will be a focus when creating myself a stricter budget and the ability to use those funds for paying down my student loan debt.
One day at a time heading closer to #financialfreedom . Send me your budget tips or what has worked best for you! If there is a certain app you use or method such as the zero dollar budget.
This weekend was a great reminder of WHY I do what I do. Pouring into others, gathering like minded people and sharing how to be a balanced, healthy, and stress-free version of themselves is what I love. I am obsessed with helping others live a healthy life and find financial fitness, too.
Working in a somewhat non traditional way with my degrees was a tough decision for me to make. I felt as though I “wasn’t using” my education and I felt guilty. Who can relate? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When I was working as a therapist or a nurse on my units, I didn’t feel like I was in the right place. I took me a while to even realize this feeling was rooted in a desire to do something else. I was being called elsewhere. Stepping away from my “safe” job was terrifying. And it was one of the most life challenging things I have ever done. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
That tug at your heart is there for a reason- it’s your compass. You can do anything you can dream up - you just have to show up, do the work and surround yourself with who + what lifts you higher. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I believe in you. Now, let’s make this a Monday to remember!

workshop was such a valuable experience. 💡 .
One of my first lessons while preparing for my reign was the importance of financial literacy. The contests for Miss. Africa Arizona had the fortunte opportunity to attend a finacial workshop but of course I had to take my knowledge to the next level. At this workshop, I learn about real estate investment tricks, more was to generate wealth from some of the best in the game also some amazing networking opportunities.
With this experience, I plan to try to do the most I can to give back to my communities and hopefully the World. If you haven't been to @djsuccessformula DJ's workshop I highly reccomend it but fair warning this is not for the faint of heart, you've got to be in it to win it!! Miss. South Africa Arizona 2019

🗣Did you know that budgeting is as simple as allocating your money towards categories? 💸Remember to always pay yourself first!💸 You work hard for your money... that is way putting 20% aside for savings or towards paying down debt, whichever is most important to you!
Since my clothes are all fitting a little tighter than they were 2 months ago from questionable food choices I have made recently I have decided to make some major life changes by photo shopping my face on to John Cena's body. Abs are WAY easier that way! Haha!⠀
Among other potential goals that you may have for yourself this January 1st for 2019, in addition to your physical fitness please also consider your financial fitness. Could my bank account benefit from a budget? What could I do to boost my credit score? Am I tucking enough away for retirement? Is my mortgage interest rate as low as it could be? Am I wasting money on mortgage insurance? Should I sell my house and move or just renovate the home I already have? I would love to help you out with my mortgage know how so you can finally see that financial six pack! #instafollow#photooftheday#smile#follow4follow#instalike#picoftheday#bestoftheday#follow#mortgage#funfriday#johncena#musclemag#finacialfitness#instafit

A man's wealth is not in the money he carries in his purse,
it is in the income he builds up like a golden stream that continually flow into his purse whether he is at work or travel.
What a remarkable #Thursday I had. Yesterday a friend held a gratitude Live discussion here on FB. It was 😊 good. She asked us to post our favorite gratitude song, mine is a benediction “Thank You Lord.” Each time I hum it tears flow from my soul. It helps me to remember how far I have come and how thankful I am for this journey. The people I have met have inspired me in ways...it’s hard to even begin explaining. 🌎 Now here I am with all of you, in this virtual space, moving into places that flow with fluid thought and energy.
I spoke to a mentor and friend yesterday about songs. She expressed how when you are older or more mature the words have special meaning. See you have been through the valleys and have come out into the 💡 light.
I am inviting you to join me on this journey. Not sure where it will end...just know it will be remarkable.
3 days till the end of the month and this lady isn't stopping until she has smashed her goal 🙌 so let's kick off Monday by celebrating Emma's success.
Like me Emma is a Mum of two boys (so she knows my pain at times 😂). She is a HR consultant by profession and works damn hard for everything she has.
Emma was looking for something else she could work at part-time, something that could help her achieve her goals and ambitions. Travelling with her family during the school holidays, having them experience more of the world. Her and her husband retiring and having complete time and financial freedom before 50.
That's when Emma took at look at what we do and got started in the financial world. And she has worked her socks off to make sure she reaches her goal! She is such a #fun#loving and #inspirational person to work with she really deserves all her successes.
Missing these beauties a whole bunch today. 💕
I stumbled across a quote by Christopher Morley this morning that went,
“There is only one success — to be able to spend your life in your own way.” Holy YES.
Things rings so true to my heart because THIS is what we work for as coaches every day. The freedom. It’s why we show up for our businesses no matter the circumstances.
We are putting in the hard work daily today to one day in the very near future, have the ability to live a life of freedom, on our own terms. One where we get to choose where we spend our time.
This kind of freedom is such a luxury.
It won’t be easy: it takes a lot of hard work. We sacrifice and fail forward daily but let me just tell you it is all extremely worth it because I don’t have to walk it alone — I get to do it with all of them and the rest of our team if 200+ coaches.
Whether it’s paying for my groceries, chipping away at student debt, extra cash for alllll the gas my car eats up, treating myself to some self love or building an empire that supports me and sustains my vision for this life — I will never take for granted what THE decision to become a coach has done for my life.
The freedom is everything and I know I’m only getting a taste of what is to come.
This is only the beginning.
And I want you to come with me.
Want to do what I do? 👋🏼 I will be mentoring 4 new women this month and showing them the ropes. *if you have ever thought about doing what I do or want to know how you can get paid to workout + build a business from home all while maintaining the rest of your life or full time job — please fill out to form in my bio or leave your favorite emoji below + I’ll reach out. 🙌🏼👇🏼🤙🏼⚡️ #empoweredwomen

Writing what I want to achieve down on paper just makes things seem more real to me 📝
I have a finance spreadsheet 📈that I use to keep me on track with my income/expenses. Stops being going over budget (sometimes) 💰This goal is now locked into the calendar📆
I will continue putting money into the boys ISA, I'm not a risk taker really, so I want to know if my investment goes down the toilet 🚽 at least they have something for when they turn 18 and take control of their bank accounts 💷

Did you know that one of the biggest factors influencing your PHYSICAL fitness is your FINANCIAL fitness? Today we have the incredible Dr. Michael Roizen who, along with his coauthor and friend Dr. Oz, has written some of the most remarkable NY Times bestselling books in recent years.
These books have changed the way that millions of people relate to their bodies. Now he's sharing the research on how much our financial well-being influences our physical well-being.
We are living longer today (awesome), but countless people are on track to outlive their money (not awesome!). Research shows that financial stress causes sleep issues for nearly 2/3 of all Americans. 😳 And medical expenses are the leading cause of bankruptcy today. These are just a snapshot of how our finances are tied to our health. To get the full picture, plus what to do to build your money muscles, make sure to check out this episode ASAP!
Dr. Roizen is also the first person to teach me about mastering our hunger and satiety hormones. In this clip he's chiming in on how our biology will eventually beat out our willpower, and the best way to win in our physical AND financial health is to do what he calls "reengineering your habits." Check it out now at themodelhealthshow.com or just use the link in my bio. 🔥

Everything u need is on the other side of your Action
I remember waking up today , I was so hungry like legit hunger ,you know the kinda hunger that wakes you up after eating heavy banku and white soup the night before #sighs
I tossed from one side of the bed to the other ,hoping, wishing manna would drop ,and the only thing that dropped was the hit song my tummy was playing... After 33 minutes of inactivity ,listening to a my own silence,i took a bold step of faith one step after the other ,to the fridge and boom, the end of my hunger stared me in the face ,lovely looking bread and butter with a cold cup of milo ...that was just the begining
Every thing you have ever been hungry for is at the other side of taking steps
God will order you steps, not your sits or rolling on the beds
Remember the story of the red sea and the Israelites and Oga pharaoh behind them ,history has it that the water was still there staring them in the face when God said for them to move forward, until the first man put his feet into the water, the water remained
God is a mover .In Genesis we are shown a God moving upon... Not sitting upon
It's time to go ,everything remains in a state of inactivity unless action is taken
Decide to move now... Just do it
Spend some action currency... And by the way BITCOIN is almost $10k ...
You heard when it was less than $1k n did nothing
It's not too late
