You’re no Jacob! 🤨
But you already know this, no? 🤦♀️
If you were Jacob, and it was your destiny to be a supplanter you would have prospered in it by now 🌹
But you see, there are so many trails of supplanting following you, and none has prospered in your hands 🥀
If any had, you would have settled by now.. but here you are still afloat, on the prowl for the next gig 😩
Usurper, you will do better as Israel.. can’t you tell?🤷♀️
Here’s a clarion call to retrace your steps to The Father, “who wishes above all things that you prosper, and be in health.. even as your soul prospers” 3 John 1:2 🙏
Think about it.

Have you ever experienced that feeling that you are being distracted and as a result it is hindering you from reaching your full potential? If the answer is yes, I would advise asking yourself are those people around me assisting me in reaching new heights? If the answer is no then they will eventually become a distraction.
SAY NO TO DISTRACTIONS!!! #foodforthought#stayintheloopadvice#financialadvisor

A big thank you to @Wente for hosting us last night. We had our investment strategy forum where @michaelyoshikami spoke about economic issues to look for this year. We love having these events for our clients ❤️
Loved being reunited with my girls @marysolcastrotv and @thebettynguyen. In between the hugs and selfies...we did a little bit of work, helping you get back some unclaimed moolah that could be owed to you. 💵
I personally found some money that was owed to me and I was truly stoked, and I think the team did, too! Here are some types of cash you can claim that you may have forgotten about. The best place to start is UNCLAIMED.ORG:
1) Find Unclaimed Funds From Your Paycheck. Maybe the last day of your job fell between pay periods. You might have received a check for the final full week but never got what you were owed for the "hangover days" (especially if you relied on a physical check). You also might be owed for unused vacation days.
2) Find Unclaimed Funds From a Savings Bond. This popular baby gift takes years to mature so, over time, it's easy for the recipient to misplace it or forget about it altogether.
3) Find Unclaimed Funds From Stocks. The actual paper stock certificate, which might have been a childhood gift, was misplaced at some point. Any shares purchased before you turned 18 might be in a parent's name, so check that, too.
4) Find Unclaimed Funds From an Income Tax Refund. Maybe you moved—without a forwarding address—and never received an IRS check. Or perhaps you simply misplaced it. Our friends at the IRS aren't going to go out of their way to get it to you, you have to get after it!
5) Find Unclaimed Funds From a Utility Deposit. It's possibly the last thing you thought about in the midst of a move.
Reclaim it by calling the utility providers for your past residences to see if they have any of your funds. If they don't but you suspect you never received a deposit back, they might have turned it over to the state comptroller's office.
You might also be able to get in on class action lawsuits. Try topclassactions.com to see if you qualify.
Let me know what you find!! 👇👇👇
While your credit score is definitely tied to your credit report, it’s technically a separate thing. Your credit report is a thorough record of your credit history, including your credit accounts, how often you apply for credit, debt collection accounts and some public records, including judgements, liens and bankruptcies.
Your "refund" is just money you already made. You are just getting a portion of it back.
Now I know you are thinking duh, but imagine those who don't get their money back. Imagine making just a tad bit more than you and paying $30k in taxes during the year from your w2 job just to pay $5k more come tax season. THERE IS limited items you can apply towards to reduce that issue. No write offs that you spend to just work that job.
What my job as an Accountant has always been is to reduce the amount people/companies owe in tax as well as get individuals back the most I can.
If you ask me, someone who sees the numbers, a business always wins vs a job. Not "everyone is meant to start a business" some will say but those that said that to me years ago ended up starting one and are doing better than before.
So with that said, choose what you do with your refund wisely this year.

Does your financial advisor have their CFP® designation? A CFP® means that we will take a holistic, personalized approach to bring all the pieces of your financial life together. These professionals also have made a commitment to act as a fiduciary when providing financial advice to a client. This means that we have agreed to put your best interests first! (It also means we are super nerdy and likely were not on the homecoming court in high school.) #jessicaaliotticfp

You might think that now is not the right time to invest because you really don’t have a lot of money. However, that’s a common misconception that could jeopardize your financial future.
The best time to invest is when you’re young, because your money will have more time to grow. An early strategy of consistent investment will give you a nest egg later on in life that you can use for major purchases or, better yet, retirement.

Black History Month is almost over & to show my respect, I will be highlighting a handful of people that deserve acknowledgement during this month. Of course the first person I want to honor is this man right here, Mr. Chris Gandy.😍 This man, who many of you know as my significant other, has been beating the odds his whole life. While I won’t go into details of all that he’s overcome, I will share with you his successes which are impressive & worthy of recognition.
After tearing ALL 3 major knee ligaments playing professional basketball, @coach_gandy realized that the end of his b-ball career was approaching and he’d better “get on the ball” and find a career for his next stage of life. He chose the financial world despite everyone telling him that the odds of him being successful are really small...ESPECIALLY because he is a black male in an industry mostly dominated by older white men.
Fast forward to more than 20yrs later and you find this gentleman...a man that has years of experience helping people “organize their financial junk drawer” and help clients take their hard earned money to create a legacy that they can leave for future generations. After being one of the top financial advisors at a major financial corporation for years, he left and started his own firm called @themidwestlegacygroup which is a diverse firm that helps clients that range from pro athletes & doctors to normal middle class working Americans.
He is the 2020 President Elect of @onenaifa which is the main nationally recognized organization and is their FIRST black president too! He also was the #1 financial advisor out of >40k in 2019 at @oneamerica after having a record setting year. He is a force for diversity wherever he goes and has always been involved in his community. I am proud to share my life with him if you can’t tell!🥰 Thursday 7pm CST he will be speaking to @melissamade and my teams about tax changes that will benefit us all and some financial fitness pointers to make sure we are being smart with our money. I would like to invite you to be my guest if you have been considering joining my team of MISFITz. DM me for more details & leave an emoji to connect.
