I have always loved vision boards. This is the first time I’ve made one for me... not for a school project.
My hopes, my dreams, my goals, my VISION. My friend @simply_victoriab inspired me to knock this baby out.
I highly recommend grabbing your old magazines, a piece of cardstock or cardboard, a glue stick + scissors and get cutting! I promise it does not take long.
When a quote or image inspires you, cut it out and start a pile. The goal is to fill up as much of the board as you can leaving little space.
It’s fun to show others and hear them say, “It’s so you.”☀️

Finding time to write can be challenging. I believe when we practice prioritizing our craft, we'll find the time. It's ok to let the dishes sit, or to allow bedtime to slip by 20 minutes so you can get those extra words down. The words find a way to flow. For more ideas on how to carve out the time to get your words on paper, watch the writing videos on my website.
Have you ever said it? “I need to find time to _____?” Well the truth is- no matter how well you’ve cleaned your closet, organized your office or even rearranged the garage, you won’t find time.
Time must be scheduled.
So what will you schedule? Time to work on the most important things? Time to plan a vacation? Time to rest? Schedule it today! You’ll thank me later! 😊 #timeflies#findingtime#timemanagementtips#leadershiptips

Arbroath is a treasure - a historically significant town surrounded by natural beauty
Which line is faster?
Jaxon has been comparing lines with his dad since he was 6
“I’ll think one line is better and he’ll think another is better and then using LITPro I can check and see which one is faster”
Today, he finds himself 1.9 seconds faster on the sand track he’s custom created for social distancing - finally putting him ahead of his dad ;) 🏆
Congratulations, Jaxon, from all of us here at LITPro for getting #FasterEveryLap with LITPro!
Comment a 🚀 below if you put in a hot lap during quarantine⬇️🔥

At least one of us is reading these days. Norah loves her books. She reads the same ones all the time (well she looks at the same ones) and her favourite bedtime book is just my favourite - ‘Peepo!’ By Allan Ahlberg and Janet Ahlberg (look it up!). I had it as a kid and was delighted when I found it in Waterstones. It has the most lovely detailed illustrations and she loves finding things in the pictures. .
Who else loves Waterstones? I find it sooooo peaceful! I love the sound of books being removed from/placed on shelves, the sound of pages turning and people mooching about slowly. I’d quite happily sit there for a few hours and just listen and watch. Is that creepy? Just give me a coffee and that’s me set. Not sure when stores like this will re-open and people like me are able to people watch again - at a safe distance 🤣?! What a World we now live in. It’s crazy. .
I have a few books I’ve been meaning to read and WANT to read. It’s finding the time or putting aside time should I say and also being in the mood. I have trouble switching off, and bedtime would be a great opportunity to read but I just can’t keep my eyes open. .
Who else has trouble ‘switching off’ but wants to read a good book?? 📚
⏳My kids are home now! I don't have time to workout! ⌛
I don't have 5 minutes to myself, let alone 30 minutes to workout.
I hear you! Especially now when many of us are still stuck at home and schools are closed. there is so much chaos, uncertainty and it feels like our time is no longer our own.
The truth is :
❌ You don't have to workout for 30 minutes. ✅ You can do something, even just 10 minutes. A quick HIIT workout, quick yoga (just search for quick workout routine and you'll find one) ➡ Something is better than nothing ✅ You can involve your kids in the workout. It can be a fun activity for the whole family. ✔️You can use them as a weight ✔️or have them do the exercises with you. This way you kill 2 birds with 1 stone :
1️⃣ you get your workout in and
2️⃣ become a roll model for your kids. ✅ You can become creative with your time : ✔️wake up a little earlier, ✔️have your kids do something else while you workout (don't feel guilty about TV nanny from time to time),
✔️or squeeze 5 minute increments in between tasks. 💪 You got this! Even in these trying times you can stay in shape so you can take care of yourself and everyone else depending on you! ❓Are you finding it difficult to make time to workout? Have you been able to carve some time for yourself? What strategy worked for you? Will you try one of my ideas above? Comment below⬇️

Finally finished my first spoon. Word to the wise when ordering off Etsy. Always make sure to check the country of origin... I order my spoon carving tool in March and didn’t realize it shipped from the Czech Republic. Nice tool though.
A different kind of Memorial Day this year, and I honestly don't mind it. I'm grateful. I would have been in Amsterdam for one month today, but instead I'm spending my day at a park I've lived close to for almost 14 years....and never visited. Keep exploring. #quarantinelife#cityadventures#iheartthiscity#findingtime
Day 6: thankfully there are no photos of yesterday or the food and drink involved. I quickly fell back into wrong habits. Got preoccupied and missed breakfast. Had a leftover meatball from the previous days dinner with just a small handful of grapes for lunch. Then drank lots of alcohol with a bbq in the afternoon. Food wise I wasn’t too bad - avoided breads, cheeses and sauces and just ate meats and salad (although I did leave the skin on the chicken legs). It was the alcohol - I lost count after 6 ciders 😳
$8.25 a month....
That’s how much my new “gym” membership breaks down to monthly.
My old gym... $59 a month. 😳
That’s $59 a month to go 1-2 times a week... 3 times if I was lucky. I honestly loved it, but I just couldn’t get there... and without the CONSISTENCY the results just weren’t there. .
Now, my gym is my garage (or my living room, my backyard, or wherever my iPad/computer/phone is set up.) I have a set program to follow, and by making that 30-40 minute workout a PRIORITY I have fallen in love with the results!
I have 2 more promo codes for $10 off challenge packs that I have to giveaway before the month ends!! It doesn’t matter if you are super fit or are just getting started, I promise there is something for every level!!
I’m signing people up NOW for my June accountability group. DM me for more information. Nothing changes if nothing changes! 🥰
#findingtime for a morning swim on the overtopping tide, some big waves in the lake mid-way though the swim made it feel more like a sea swim. No sea swimming this weekend due to the wind and swell, so I’m staying safe in the lake. An exhilarating start to the day. #outdoorswimming#lakeswimming#morningswim#metime
Most mornings I barely have a moment to myself. Making time to read His word has been so difficult lately. My quiet time was when the boys were in school so I've had to readjust that time. Some days I get it done in the morning other days late at night. And to be completely honest there are days were all I get done is my conversations with God. But I can tell the days where I'm being intentional and the days I'm not. It is a constant struggle between finding my balance and a schedule that works. Trying to get my schedule in a place that I can have those moments with Him because it is so neccessary. This is a reminder for me that it can be done and all I need to do is keep trying.
What does you day look like? Are you a schedule everything type of person or let's see how the day goes?
Help please! What do you think? *
I LOVE these interesting pearls I picked up in Spain (over a decade ago) --yeeshk! Finding time to use all my beautiful finds is hard! --But I'm not in love with the leaf charm for closing (it's the only copper charm I have left!) Do I wait for my order to come in and replace the charm? Or am I overthinking this, do you love the leaf charm? Let me know! *
New bracelet collection released tomorrow online 12 midnight EST.
🥯Anyone else feeling that creative energy during this time?
It took me a min to really figure out wtf am I going to do with myself all day? How am I going to take care of my family as well all find time and things to do that nurture me personally?
It has been a challenge, but also fun, to create and try new things I may have felt like I never had time for. Things that take time and that I lacked motivation to start and wait for.
One of those things was a sourdough starter. It took me 3 tries. Feeding the dang thing regularly creates so much discard eventually. So I save it in the fridge and make other things with it instead of wasting, such as these bagels! I have begun making all of our bread on the reg as well.
I think I am going to start a fermented strawberry soda next 🤔
What are you making these days? Anything fun?
Thank you to everyone posting amd sharing so many recipes right now as well! So inspiring!
Sweet potato bites!
Saw this recipe on @herhealthfulplate and had to try it!
-1 cup of self rising oat flour (add 1 tsp baking powder and 1/4 tsp of salt, and blend together)
-1 cup of mashed sweet potato
-bake and mash sweet potato
-add flour and potato in a bowl and use your hands to mix the dough
-separate it into about 6 pieces and roll into circles
-bake at 400 for about 18-20 mins
So yummy to eat hot out of the oven and you can even add any kind of vegan butter (or not vegan) you have!
*the first time I made it I used a tsp of salt but found it to be too salty, so 1/4 was better for me. You can always sprinkle some more on top if you’d like though!

It's been a minute and honestly it has felt amazing. I needed a break. A minute to settle... to realign... to rejuvenate. Ya know?! 😊
I gave myself some space and kind of let go. Honestly, I was experiencing some mad burnout. Like basically the end of May and most of June was just burn out. Who's been there?! But there were lots of celebrations and good times and giving yourself space is what it's all about. ...
The whole point of all this healthy living and eating is to have that space to choose what we do with our days, weeks and years.
To always be in the driver's seat. ...
All of this is about making it so you feel amazing at whatever you decide to do whether that's #Roseallday , climb a freakin mountain, or just being energized and present in your day. ...
So give yourself the space to let go and just BE for a bit. To celebrate life in all of it's forms. But then also give yourself the room to get back on track and make those green smoothies + go to hot yoga before work + try cucumber noodles for the 1st time because you've got this! and you've earned it!
Raise your hand 🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️ if you sometimes need a break and a reset? or maybe just a reflection on getting back in alignment with your goals?
It feels freaking amazing! And I'm grateful for both the space to let go and the space to get my ship back on track.
So tell me. is this a phase of letting go or taking names for you? And are you grateful for that allowance to yourself?
Just taking a break digging in dirt and ripping out gross old dirty carpet on stairs to enjoy this beautiful weather today.
Taking a little time to breathe, enjoy life and play a little laser tag with my kids is something I’m working on. I always have a to-do list but I have to remember life is not always confined to my to-do list. .
Anyone else struggle with throwing out the to-do list every now and then? . http://liketk.it/2P2hE
I don’t know if you are like me and kinda hearing this phrase. Don’t get me wrong, this is a new decade for crying out it loud. I’m not downplaying that. We are here to set #biggerdreams and #biggergoals
We are here to show up in this #newdecade2020 to be loud and proud!
But let’s be honest with ourselves. It’s 2 1/2 weeks into the new year, and are you still the same you that you claimed would change and be someone else? For most of us probably
You’re only going to become a new you if you CHANGE the old you. Your old ways. If you start making different decisions than you would’ve in December 31, 2019. And if you’re not now, you’re never going to. #toughlove and #hardtruth
Instead of making a big ol’ declaration of who you’re going to start to be on January 1, 2020, (of which by the way, is in the past already), how about declaring being the same you, making #betterchoices , one chance at a time
Every chance is a choice, and every choice can form a better habit, and with every better habit forms a new you
I’m helping to motivate and influence people everyday into making better choices, whether it’s showing up to work out, or working on their mindset or choosing healthier meal options. If you are feeling stuck and are trying to do ALL THE THINGS at once to change, let me help guide you one chance at a time. I have a support system, I have a plan, and all I need is you
#nowsyourchance to join in on making a better you in health and fitness. Message me and let’s talk about your goals

How do we do it?
As a working Mom with 3 kids and a husband that travels, the one thing I have a hard finding is balance.
To be completely honest, I suck at it.🔹
There is the work/family life showdown of responsibilities which in this day and age where we women are expected to be juggling full time jobs along with full time parenting...well, balance be damned.🔹
But what I’m really talking about today is personal balance. Also known as ME time balance. The kind of balance where I get to escape responsibilities for a minute and just carve out an hour, a day, a weekend, where I can turn in my parenting, wifing, jobbing keys and just walk away for a bit.🔹
I have to be honest I haven’t had one day just for me in a very long time.
And I only have myself to blame. I have a great husband who really wants me to have me time but life is busy right now and like I said before I suck at balance which means I suck at prioritizing myself.🔹
For many reasons, it’s hard to get away BUT
that said, I’m going to work on it. I’m going to attempt to find the ME time balance. I don’t know how or what or where I’ll find it but I’m on the search for even a little balance.🔹
Drop a comment if you have the magical answer.
What do you do to maintain a sense of balance in your life?
I’d love to hear from you.
Have an awesome day friends.❤️

This image pairs so well, wethinks, with Rebecca Solnit’s thoughts on slowing down: “I believe that slowness is an act of resistance, not because slowness is a good in itself but because of all that it makes room for, the things that don’t get measured and can’t be bought.” -From “Finding Time,” published in Orion Magazine
I’ve the weekend I got to spend time around all of my old horse world friends and it made me realize how much I miss it!
Spending the day in my barn clothes with horses outside (well kind of outside 😂) literally made me SO 👏🏼 DANG 👏🏼 HAPPY!
I caught myself thinking that how the heck am I going to balance this is my life as well???? Do I really have time for the gym, my business, working full time and horses?!
Absofreakinglutely I do!
👉🏼 You set small goals to get you started!
👉🏼You make time for things that make you happy!
👉🏼You prioritize them and find your balance!
