See you all tomorrow evening! Don’t forget to register! Link is in our bio ✨ #elementyogafl
I’m not ready to say farewell to fall, to the fleeting vibrance of the forest. This seasonal transition is a tough one for me and for many others. Those bare, grey days. As darkness becomes more prominent than daylight.
Until then, I will soak in the last of the leaves and make the best of this season and my beautiful surroundings.
On a side note, I’d love to gather a group for a hike in Algonquin. To embrace the grey days upon us and connect with some new/familiar faces! Im thinking November 2, let me know if you would be down ✌🏼
Once upon a sunrise dream.... ✨ This time last year, we were headed to one of the most MAGICAL places I’ve ever experienced. It will be hard to top #birthdayweek in Hawai’i, but I’m looking forward to our upcoming bday weekend adventures! 💁🏽♀️💁🏻♂️ Happy FriYAY, Instafraaaans. #herecomes30#50before30
It's a weird time of year - I haven't quite let go of summer but there's a definite chill in the air now, and yesterday I managed to convince myself some clouds were snow-coloured. .
My favourite thing is that sunset at the moment is perfectly timed to watch from the mountains, and Wednesday's was glorious and sprawling and made me feel approximately a billion times happier.

| As much as I love this vibrant and cozy season, my skin isn’t necessarily a fan of the cooler, fluctuating weather. To remedy this, I’ve been using a Vitamin-C serum by @teamiblends, infused with hibiscus & tea, to naturally smooth & brighten my skin. Not only does it smell like fresh grapefruit, but it absorbs quickly, so I can actually use it in my morning routine! Typically it takes forever for me to notice a change when trying a new skin care product, but no joke, I got compliments on my skin after using the Vit-C serum only three times. 🙀
If you want to get in on this action, use my code: FERN25 for 25% off of $39! ✨
Plus, the fact that #teamiblends products are cruelty-free, vegan, free of chemicals & preservatives, and made right here in the USA, is pretty dang cool. 🌱
Happy FriYAY everyone.... Damp rock, holes in my shoes and determination - that was last weekend for me in a nutshell 🙃 I didn’t get the send in the end but I got pretty close. I couldn’t manage to rock over on my foot enough 😿. Maybe next time it’ll go! Swipe for video 👉 [Staircase V2/f5+]

I took a drive out to Peggy’s Cove tonight to scout out for my upcoming “My Pet Milky Way” sessions this weekend, and though I know that Peggy’s Point Lighthouse is beautiful at sunset, I decided to drive down the road a bit to take photos instead.
This is overlooking Peggy’s Cove Soi, a bay in Peggy’s Cove, as well as Canal and Long Canal lake. So, I had to look up what the heck a “Soi” is as I’ve never heard the word. Turns out it is from the French word “Barachois” which was spelled “Barrasoi” in NS records dating from the early 1800’s. A “Barachois” is a body of water at sea level enclosed by a sandbar, so that mostly fits.
What I can say is that Peggy’s Cove and the surrounding preservation area are stunning. I was happy to see the fall pops of colour hanging on even after the “bomb” we had today.
Shot on my Mavic Air with a fixed aperture of 2.8, ISO 100, s/s 1/90 (+/- 1 EV) - shot as a 3 image HDR to get as much dynamic range out of my drone’s tiny sensor as possible.
P.S. I’ve got a thing for leading lines and pretty landscapes from above lately. Can’t help it, it’s autumn after all.
