Anxiety can control every decision of your life until you put it in the spot light. Yes I work in the mental health field . YES, you can still struggle with mental health yourself.
Anxiety for me has been :
Working out in the women’s only section at the gym- Anxiety of being mocked elsewhere
AVOIDING things you hate AND want to do because of how it makes you feel out of control- Anxiety
Working out the the point it becomes an obsession and you workout even if your sick with the flu , if you don’t work out , your a failure - Anxiety
Only watching certain programs over and over because it makes you feel safe because you know what’s going to happen- Anxiety ( weird right?)
My DX is (sometimes severe) social anxiety - on any given day I’m always coasting at a 2-3. At its worst it’s a 7-8 , a 10 when I shut down . Unchecked anxiety developed into major depressive disorder. Panic attacks, SWEATING, heart racing , avoidance behavior , major irritation , quitting jobs when they became too much to handle EVEN if I was good at it.
Lost and gained 120 pounds due to wildly unchecked mental health. Been struggling to lose this again for years. I do well and then something happens outside of my control and I stop .
This time I want to set realistic goals. I’m doing a lot right now. I’m Supporting my husband in his own journey , grad school full time, working full time, TTC, and I want to lose 120 pounds ?

Everything you need to get results is within you its called your brain.
Understand it, control it & command to do things the way you need to do it put your attention towards mastering that..not the “best pre workout “
