When there’s a WILL there’s a WAY. I kid you not I was racking my brain all night trying to figure out how can I get out of this slump. So I made a decision to make up a new schedule for myself.
This morning I woke up and decided to go for a run. I haven’t gone for a run in 8 MONTHS! So believe me I was pretty hesitant to say “Cia, GET UP AND RUN!” So I made a goal for myself to run 2.5 km today. Not knowing if I would have to stop, or how long it would take me to do this I just knew I had to. •
In the end I ran 2.59km in 17mins with no stops and as much as I knew I could have kept on going I knew I had to pace myself. •
PROUD is the word I’ll go with today because two months ago walking was a struggle for me, lifting weights, bending, squatting, hinging you name it felt impossible. But with a mindset to take it one day at a time, and do the homework my doctors gave me to do each day my progression has gotten better.
So in this quick note what ever is stopping you from doing what it is you want to do, don’t let it! Each day we get is another chance to take another step forward to whatever it is we want. Don’t let what ever this is stop your journey, make this help you recreate a new journey to the same end goal.💪🏾
Still keeping motivated at home. Haven't done overhead presses with the football bar in a while. Thank goodness for home gyms. I genuinely don't know how some of you are managing without one. I would lose my mind. 😁

Early morning Circuit Breaker before work! Three circuits with three different workouts (grand total of 9 different workouts), done three times each. Here’s some shoulder work + some additional upper bod movements.
I’m only 2 days into my iso and I actually really enjoy it. It’s probably because I’m an aggressive introvert so this is just normal for me but I really like being able to study all day and work on my future self. It’s really brought me a lot of happiness. That being said we are only on day 2. Things might change in 3 weeks😂

HERNIATED DISC: Suffering from a herniated disc is shit..trust me u don’t wanna go through it. I’ve been going through it for months now..& the pain is seriously the worst thing u could ever experience (especially when tryin to sleep😖) I’ve always tired to ignore the pain whenever I’m doing my workouts, walking and even sitting down..HOWEVER, ignoring the pain is not the case🙅🏻♀️ITS A BIG FAT NO NO.. cuz it will just leave you into more deep💩
All I’m ganna say is that my advice for you guys is to always STAY ACTIVE and never ignore a pain in the body..even if it’s just a strain (cuz that’s what I thought I had🙄) & ALWAYS do your STRETCHES/YOGA...PLEASE!! 🙏🏻😩❤️ & most importantly BE HEALTHY!! Mentally and physically🧠💪🏼🍏 Ignore the negative thoughts - Everything takes time, patience & a bit of love!

💡How to make exercise a daily habit⁉️🤔
That’s a question that probably a lot of you dealing with. As I had the same problem when I started this journey I’m gonna tell you some tips, which helped me through the way A LOT😃
✅ Set a time and send yourself a reminder!⏰Decide whether you’re more likely to stick with it in the morning or lunchtime or evening, and stick with that time.✌🏼
✅ Start small‼️ This is perhaps the most useful suggestion of all. When I start exercising, I always start with lots of energy, enthusiasm and ambition. I think I can do more than I can. However, doing too much in the beginning leads to burnout, which leads to quitting your habit.
✅ Do it with a partner/ Friend 👯👫 : Believe me! doing exercises together make the challenge way more interesting!😜
✅Give yourself rewards🎖🎁 buying yourself your favorite snack, a new outfit, or a small present when you complete your weekly sessions.😊😃
✅ Mix it up‼️Instead of running every single day, you’ve got a variety of sports to do, and that makes it much more interesting.🤗💪🏼
✅And at last and the most important one: NEVER EVER skip a day‼️ It’s easy to say, “No problem, I’ve been doing it for five days … I’ll just skip today!” But that will make your habit formation harder. Consistency is key, so try not to skip a single day. If you do, don’t beat yourself up, don’t judge, don’t feel bad — everyone messes up sometimes, and habit formation is a skill that requires practice. 😃
