Maybe the journey isn’t so much about becoming anything. Maybe it’s about un-becoming everything that really isn’t you so you be be what you were meant to be in the first place .

So for my first training back...I ended up doing 20.1 🤦🏼♀️ No where near the best time but considering my time off and generally feeling pants, I’ll take that! 6 + 10 (scaled)

So while I’m seeing doctors (I always advise going the medical route first!!) and having tests I have been trying to listen to my body and do the basics of health & nutrition. Not going into full detail as I could write war and peace but what I did was:
• stopped my diet and went back to ‘maintenance’ ish calories and trusted my appetite
• dropped all cardio / steps
• reduced training significantly • aimed for 8 hours of good quality sleep a night
• the three ‘Rs’ - rest, recovery & relaxation (reduce stress or make sure you cover from what you can’t cut out...e.g we can’t all quit our 9-5 😊

🚨🚨 It’s that time again! 🚨🚨 I am officially 60 lbs down- which means I get to have my lovely fiancé / hype man/ photographer pile dog food into my arms and take ridiculous photos of me in public 😇 ever since getting under 250, I’ve been a weight I cannot remember ever being as an adult (or teenager). Committing to myself and my future has been the best thing I’ve ever done. I have a doctor appointment tomorrow, and this time I weigh about 25 lbs less than I did last time. I had a full panel of lab work done two weeks ago, and I’m hoping to see those numbers improve as well - not just the scale.
But anyway, I guess I just want to say, as cliche as it is, that if I can do this you absolutely can too. I’m not a morning person. I hated working out. I love (yes still do) all the fried and junk food and sweets there are in the world. Take it just a step at a time, there is no need to do a major overhaul of your life overnight. You will get there if you stick to it and you absolutely can do this. .
training with friends is a blessing 💛 find people who are as driven and passionate as you, even if you may not have the same goals. that kind of energy stays with you in everything you do 🦋🌱🕊

Day 24 - Triceps and Back Day!
2 weeks since my last videos so I was hoping to see some progress... great tool to see what needs some work. While working triceps I realized that my elbows needed to come in some more. Once I corrected my placement I felt the muscle work a little harder. Not quite ready to post the rope thingy exercise... I was lucky to bring the rope down at all lol. Don’t let the smile fool you... that was genuine pain. So I posted Ranz’s video instead. He’s so much better at it 😂🤪
There is only ☝🏽way to get to the body you always wanted...
Decide ➡️ Commit ➡️ Healthy Nutrition ➡️ Work your butt off at the gym ➡️ Persevere ➡️ Believe in Yourself & Never Give Up!!!

For those of you who wonder “how can I be losing inches but not much weight...read this! 🤔
You’ve probably heard that "muscle weighs more than fat" however, A pound is a pound, as you see in the photo.... this should help you better understand why a photo can show results when the scales do not move.
Think about a pound of marshmallows (fat) vs. a pound of apples (muscle). Both weigh the same, yet carrying around a pound of marshmallows is going to take up A LOT more 'room' than carrying around a pound of apples.😲 💪🏻Since a pound of muscle is smaller in size than a pound of fat (fat takes up approximately 4x the space of muscle tissue) it's very possible to LOOK and FEEL slimmer even if your weight remains the same!!!! 🙌
This is why it’s important to not focus on just the number on the scale!

Its the best feeling ever when you hit the goal you set for yourself, whether it’s big or small. I go on holiday tomorrow it was very last minute and so only booked it last week. When I booked it, I said to myself I want to lose 2 lbs before I board the plane. Now 2 lbs seems like nothing but it’s so important to set these smaller goals to keep you on track for your end goal. Remember the saying ‘even the smallest actions are a step in the right direction’ - small actions make big changes!
I actually lost just over 2 lbs and I am so happy 🤸🏼♂️ I’ve proven to myself that I can be disciplined and achieve what I set my mind to and I now down to my realistic holiday weight. Remember to always think realistically as thats where disappointment and demotivation can then come in, it’s good to aim high but was I going to look like Tammy Hembrow in 1 week? Absolutely not. If I had tried to I would have obviously failed and then felt disappointed. Whereas I set myself a realistic goal, hit it, and now I’m buzzing 😁 your ideal is the long term and what you work over a period of time to achieve, but it’s these little realistic goals along the way that get you there!
So keep going, I promise the changes will come 💪🏼💫💘

How do you overcome your fears?? You gotta sit your lil bootyyyyy down and write out all your fears on paper and then ask yourself what’s the story I am telling myself about this? Most of our fears come from past experiences and circumstances that have created a negative memory or outcome in our life in that moment! -
A limiting belief is something you believe to be true about yourself, about others, or about the world that limits you in some way. -
Becoming aware of your fears is the first step in releasing them and stepping more boldly into the woman/man you already are inside. - ✨ Release the stories you’ve been telling yourself! ✨Retrain or reroute the negative pattern that takes place in your head! ✨ Change your state by doing affirmations! ANY time the fears come do this! ✨ Increase your confidence by doing personal development! ✨ Listening to positive You Tube videos + podcasts to change your thinking. What’s your morning routine?
