This is one of my favorite bathrooms in the house. It was fun to do because it was the smallest 😂 & I love how it turned out. The bathroom leads out to the pool, which is super convenient! 👙

I’m not sure why I don’t take more pictures down here. Well, actually I do know why. Because when I’m down here its because I’m teaching yoga classes and not taking pictures!😜

She wore an itty bitty teenie weenie yellow polka dot bikini 👙... this dang quarantine life has my bikini & bathroom feeling a little small these days!
Here’s some tips to help get your bathroom feeling not so tiny!!
As for the bikini, I’m currently eating a bowl of ice cream at 5pm so I can’t help you with that.
𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬: large squares, wide stripes, etc fool the eye to think the space is bigger
𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐥 𝐁𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐨𝐨𝐫
𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠: much better than cabinets taking up space
𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐚 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐅𝐚𝐮𝐜𝐞𝐭: allows the counter to not stick out as far
𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐃𝐨𝐨𝐫: added depth will change your space instantly
𝐒𝐰𝐚𝐩 𝐎𝐮𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: makes a dreary dark room appear larger
𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐈𝐭 𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐎𝐟𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐫: Bye bath mats! Trick the eye into seeing long, uncluttered lines.
There ya have it! Some tricks to make that bathroom feel not so itty bitty! (As for the bikini- lean a tall thin mirror against a wall in the bathroom & you’re good to go 😉)

Say hello to my small but cozy front porch!
Another home project ✅ off our to-do list! So happy with how it looks. It was a cumulation of little projects that we did to give this porch an upgrade.
The first thing we (when I say we, I mean my dad and my husband) did was replace and paint our front door. What a huge difference that made. Then we replaced the molding around the door and added a more decorative trim. This makes a statement for this simple kind of boring entry way. Swipe ▶️ To see before & afters photos!
We replaced the porch light, added a new house number, and painted the handle to our combination door black. A few other decorative elements as well!
Love adding a little curbside appeal to spruce things up! Next up... tackle to plants and shrubs in the front of our house. Always something to do!
Hope you all had a great day! ❤️

I’m gathering things to have a BIG Garage Sale this weekend while this cutie takes a morning nap in my favorite spot ☀️ •
In perfect Cassy fashion, I’m in the middle of painting the outside of the house, painting all the trim inside the house, getting ready for a garage sale and getting ready to OPEN @zassystaproom after being closed for 2 months.. So blessed to have the energy and motivation to do it! 💪🏻☀️
Loving this new boho floral design? Then head to The Vintage Market Home’s Facebook page to shop their sale albums. They are making the best of the Corona Quarantine by doing curbside sales 💛🙌🏼 and trust me you do not want to miss all of their AMAZING vendors 😍
This morning this kitchen and dining room were an absolute wreck. My sweet Hunter (who we have nick named Dennis the menace), decided to use yogurt as paint. At school they put paint on their hands and make handprints all the time! Well, she first took the yogurt and painted her end of the dining room table, and then made handprints on the floors with her “paint”. She ran to me with her hands in the air and said, “I painted the house mommy ... I made a mess.” I couldn’t help but laugh and Into the bath she went. Motherhood is incredibly beautiful, and of course hard all at the same time. But a good hard ... a work so hard to see the results and beauty kind of hard. All the things in this house are replaceable ... all except 5. The people that fill this space are truly the only thing in this house that matter. I’m working hard on being patient (not my first, second, or even tenth natural response) toward my husband and the girls. It’s a daily struggle for me, and something I bring to our good Father often.
Happy Sunday Friends!!
Yesterday was a busy day finishing up a Christmas get together with family (can you believe we are still talking about Christmas? Lol). Today I’m doing a bit more relaxing.
My out home office looks right out of this space. I have been thinking that the bottom of this bench would be a perfect place to have storage baskets. Long and behold I found these gems at... where else... @target . These @thresholdbytarget bins are just what I imagined!
