DaNang really caught me off guard. Most tourists just pass through the city on their way to visit the more popular destination in Vietnam, Hoi An which is 45 minutes away. I am so glad that I had the time to spend a few days here on my way to visit other more popular cities in Central Vietnam. DaNang is a very liveable city with a central street running along the south China Sea on one side and high rise office buildings and apartments on the other. It kind of reminds you of a mini South Beach in Miami without the never ending stream of tourists. There are fresh seafood restaurants that line the streets and plenty of other shops and eateries in every direction. The beaches have white sand and are very clean with very few tourists in site. Low cost, but high quality hotels can be found one street back from the ocean so if you have the time, definitely give the city a visit.
We were in Khiva over a Sunday, when it's free for kids to enter the ticketed areas. There were hundreds of school kids from the surrounding region visiting. A lot of them asked us to be in pics, I guess foreign tourists are still somewhat of a novelty

Standing there as if it's my personal temple 🤨😅
Maybe I should make it a tradition to have a professional photoshoot in every city I go live in? This one's from Bangkok 🇹🇭 and last week I got another one gifted from my bestie @timoteophotography here in Sydney 🇦🇺. Oh how he spoils me✨. Can't wait for the pictures! @refracting_light

I needed a break from all the partying in General Luna, so I went up north to Pacifico Beach, where there’s no WiFi or mobile signal. It was the best place to re-learn to ride a motorbike because there are hardly any vehicles on the road. Me time. #Siargao#PacificoBeach#KateWasHere
Sunset over the beach at Cabaceira Pequeno, Mozambique
We stayed at Coral Lodge near Cabaceira Pequeno. We took an early flight to Nampula, then drove to Mozambique Island, and finally took a dhow to Cabaceira Pequeno. Took this from the dhow just before we arrived, just as the sun was setting
Terkadang tanpa kita sadari perjalanan yang sangat berkesan ialah ketika kita rela mengurangi jajan-jajan hanya untuk sebuah cerita yang amat berkesan dengan merencanakan perjalanan.
