Did you know that the first Thanksgiving took place in St. Augustine in 1565? Spanish Admiral Pedro Menendez de Aviles invited everyone together for a large feast to celebrate their safe voyage to the New World!
When you come to St. Augustine this Thanksgiving, be sure to visit the Fountain of Youth and learn about the Spanish Conquistadors, the natives and the first Thanksgiving!

This is Sea Gull Cottage, Palm Beach's oldest home. It was constructed in 1886 and purchased by Henry Flagler in 1893. It was his first winter residence in Palm Beach. In 1984 Sea Gull was moved and restored by the Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach. It now sits beside the Flagler Museum and is the Parish House of the Royal Poinciana Chapel.
Set to a backdrop of ocean breezes, the resort's newest restaurant - Coquina - offers resort guests casual, al-fresco dining for lunch and dinner, featuring coastal dishes and cocktails inspired by the island’s Spanish heritage.
Cj went back to work after almost 2 weeks off for vacation and Crew and I both miss having him with us all day so much! So thankful for our time together before this crazy, busy season of our lives begins. I’m feeling all the feels today looking at this picture, with my 3 boys, and I wish I could go back 11 years to give 15 year old Claire a preview of all that is to come with that cute boy I had a major crush on. Life is so crazy and beautiful 🤍🥺 #thankful#postvacationmood

One thing about South Florida...we LOVE our turtles! So far this year, we have had over 10,000 sea turtles nest on the 9.5 miles of Juno Beach (our local beach). Here you can also find the Loggerhead Marine center which is a conservation and rehabilitation center for turtles. It is so cool!!
What do you do when you see a turtle crossing the road? Help him/her across the road and keep them going in the direction in which they are going. They are heading that way for a reason!
