We are working on some specialty pieces for the Local Growers Market and CSA Signup event at Decatur Brew Works organized by our friend and fellow flower-farmer Becky Newton of Wren’s Gate! We will be there from 1pm-3pm alongside fellow growers with some springy dried flowers for purchase and opportunities to sign up for our seasonal flower subscriptions! Hope to see you there!

🥀Ancient Romans used roses as room decorations, and sometimes wore the flower as a necklace.
It was also believed in Roman circles, that anything said "under the rose" was deemed to be top secret😎 *
Pansies vs. violas? 🤔
Which is which? Actually, many people get these two plants mixed up, including us from time to time. But, that's ok! They're both easy to care for, both perfect for containers or ground plantings, and both come in a variety of colors.
Do you know which is which? Comment below and let us know! (We'll reveal the answer a bit later today).
Last year’s Kokos were...🖤🗡
Spent almost the entirety of my Valentine’s weekend with my husband working in the garden together and it was really just so nice. We planted all five of our new roses, fed and mulched all twenty five total, cut back and moved perennials, planted cuttings, harvested a huge amount of lavender, and did a lot of other hobbity things. Quality time is one of my two love languages (it’s tied with words of affirmation) and acts of service is Josh’s so it really was the perfect weekend for us both. So truly grateful for our quiet little life together. How did you spend your Valentine’s weekend? And do you know your love language? I want to know. ✨
Sorry for the radio silence, I didn't mean to disappear for a week but there was a good reason.... my sister had a baby! Yippee! And I'm an auntie for the first time! It was the most exciting few days and he is just the most beautiful little thing! Hooray!
Thank you for being patient if you had an order with us! And thank you for your orders over the last few weeks! There are a few of these vintage galvanised buckets on the website if you fancy a peek!
Happy Tuesday everyone, have a great week!
