When i was in Kula, Manisa these was a regular menu for three days and we ate without hesitate even a small bite of dry bread. Despite dry bread, we loved their rice pudding and creamy soup. I don't know what was the exact name of the menu, we just ate. To be honest, all is delicious!
I love Caribbean food especially rice and beans with chicken. My old favourite has gone down a lot in quality, dad has gotten sick right after eating the last 2 times so....I asked my Limon girls for a good recommendation in Heredia and they mention a little restaurant in front of the old hospital called Rinconcito caribeño.
The place is small simple and clean. Dad and I both ordered the rice and beans, mine with chicken and dad's with fish.
To drink I got "agua de sapo" which is a drink made with tapa dulce (sugar cane juice that has been boiled to concentrate it and turn into a sort of caramel color liquid then placed into mold to set), lemon juice and ginger. Dad had the Hibiscus with ginger. Both absolutely delish and refreshing.
To say I had high expectations is an understatement. The dish comes with a small bowl of "Run down" (a soup made up of reduced coconut milk, different types of seafood, root vegetables and seasonings) as an appetizer which was really good. The food is not bad...the plantains and patacones were good and so was the salad but the rice and beans was a little over cooked and lacking in coconut flavour over all. My chicken was fall off the bone tender and juicy but the sauce was a bit salty. Dad's fish was breaded and really flaky and moist.
Overall was good and I might go back to try other things it just spent meet my high expectations. #foodietica .

6.8 / 10 @chipwich is the chip with all the wich. I’ve always had a hard on for cookies and ice cream, but if we’re being serious here. Just give me a warm cookie with some ice cream on top. These look great but nothing compares to a warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream.

I had planned on visiting this place a couple weeks ago but ended up going somewhere else. Decided yesterday was a perfect autumn day to drive to the Hudson Valley do some leaf peeping🍁and then stop by the Taghkanic Diner for an early dinner🍽 I had seen GrubStreet refer to it as “America’s Most Exciting Diner” so of course I had to go check it out. We were greeted by Kate Snide, the baker and manager, sweet and professional. The place was pretty busy being that it was Columbus Day. Everything was immaculately clean, and we were promptly attended to by a waiter who had his share of jokes.. We started by ordering 2 craft beers 🍻 (we were over-billed for an extra beer, but they were apologetic and refunded us the difference) btw craft beers are beginning to grow on me. I’m starting to realize how mild and flavorful they really are. We got the Super Pixilated IPA from Woodstock Brewing and Coded Tiles an American pale ale from Queens NY. I preferred this one as it wasn’t as bitter as the Pixilated. Cold beer glasses were brought with the beers so that was a nice touch. You don’t really see that anymore. Then I started with ordering the soup of the day which was a pumpkin soup with fried sage and toasted pumpkin seeds. It was gorgeous and tasty. Then for starters we got the house made pork rinds with poor devil chili dip. They were freaking amazing! We also ordered the Nduja Wings which the waiter promised we’d need rehab for but unfortunately we’ve had better.. I ended up only having one, and it was my order. For our main we ordered a couple double bacon cheeseburger Sandwiches on toasted sourdough, and those were very enjoyable. While there are plethora of Halal choices in Penang, we don't have much to offer when it comes to Halal Cafe but with the opening of Tok Ma Malay Kitchen, our Muslim friends can now have more choices to choose from. Nestled in the newly revamped shop lots towards the end of Kimberley Street, Tok Ma offers Malay dishes in both traditional and creative ways. The menu comprises of a list of traditional Rice sets with some classic Appetizers as well as a handful of inventive Pasta dishes (with traces of Malay influences of course). Given the place is fully air-conditioned, this is one of the few places where you can dine-in comfortably while enjoying good Malay food. If you do not already know, Tok Ma has a presence in Cubo Park, Tanjung Tokong as well.

I have breakfast probably 2-3 times a week at work and this is the place i go. They make amazing food - which i really mean big huge pieces of bacon. It fills me up in the mornings with my cup of chai to go with it. You know how some places commit sacrilege by destroying a good piece of bacon by overcooking it and it ends up dry and hard? Not this place. Wait til I get my hands on the ham & cheese croissant and do a review on that. 100x more sinful.
Rate: 4/5 so simple but so delish. Only $4.90 ea.

Pedimos de entrada unos hongos salteados, que nos gustó porque era un gran porción para compartir con mucho pan pita.
Luego pedimos hamburguesa #vegetariana , con hongos, estaba muy buena y de un tamaño "normal"🍔
Finalmente nuestra amiga insistió en que probáramos el queque de #chocolate , y dijimos que si ¡aunque estábamos súper llenos! 🤣 A quienes les gusta el sabor a chocolate oscuro, éste es una buena opción especialmente por el helado de vainilla.
Las sangrías no fueron nuestras favoritas porque nos gusta que sepan más a vino, pero traen fruta y rodaja de naranja. 🍷
En tiempos de crisis nos llamó la atención que todo lo que pedíamos venía en combos o con descuentos. Al final pagamos ₡20000 por 2 personas, que considerando todo lo que comimos, nos parece muy adecuado. 💰

Con mi amigo Diego no nos veíamos hace cantidad por lo que quedamos de almorzar hace unos domingos. Originalmente el plan era ir a a el Honesto Mike pero esos guatones onderos estaban cerrados y no se nos ocurrió preguntar en las internets. Do your googles. Después fuimos a Elkika y también estaba cerrado. De nuevo, do your googles.
Finalmente llegamos a La Hacienda Gaucha y como estábamos con conductor designado llamado Sole (la esposa de Diego), nos pudimos caer al frasco con toda tranquilidad. O sea, ni tanta tranquilidad. No es que la Sole huevee (de hecho lo hace)(la conozco hace 20 años así que no la pescamos mucho cuando trata de sembrar el terror), el tema es que como estábamos sentados afuera, fuimos víctimas de constantes ataques de palomas que se paseaban sin miedo a nada. Es como que estaban en pasta base y les importaba un huevo que la gente las pateara.
Un desagrado de situación, pero donde cuatro palomas hinchan las bolas, Cuatro Gallos, las desinflaman. El pisco sour con ese pisco es de lo mejor que puede haber, en especial cuando lo preparan a la perfección. En el caso de La Hacienda Gaucha, estaba bueno, pero podría haber estado mucho más frío para ser perfecto. Perfecto como es, por ejemplo, el de Sarita Colonia, pero también es mucho más caro. Aquí, el Catedral cuesta 5490 mortal koins, que es harto pero vale la pena, en especial cuando paga Diego.

i've tried a few almond based yogurts in the past and, yuck, i have not been impressed once. however, i figured, what the heck, it's on sale, i'll give it a shot.⠀
now i can't speak for the other flavors, but i loved this blueberry one. super creamy, super flavorful and NO nutty taste.⠀
both texture and flavor were on point for a yogurt and tbh i didn't miss the dairy. it was relatively comparable to a traditional greek yogurt.⠀

Hey foodies, today I’m sharing my favorite avocado toast with you all. It comes from this adorable coffee shop called Endiro Coffee. It’s served on Penne bread which gives it a perfect chewy and crunchy texture. On top of that, there is an oven-dried tomato aioli beneath the slices of avocado that is TO DIE FOR. Sliced tomato and fresh basil are layered on the avocado giving it a beautifully light and fresh taste. Topping off the toast is a sprinkling of red pepper flakes for a little bit of heat, that seriously sets this avocado toast over the edge. I could go on FOREVER talking about how phenomenal this toast is, but I’ll let you be the judge of it yourself. Standard looking commercial style.
The crust is very good, as is the base. Top quality crisp and chew. It's light, airy, well seasoned and coated in lots of fine polenta. If only more pizzas had this.
However, the sauce and cheese are boring, commercial tasting and salty. Why oh why?
The sauce is bought-in, thick, sweet and herby. The cheese is cheap, oily and overcooked.
If they made a beautiful raw sauce from quality tomatoes and sea salt and used good cheese on it, it would be super.
Monday - Friday it's €5 for a 10" so it's hard to complain about the price, but it's normally €10, which would be expensive. They do take-away, so if you live in that area and enjoy this style, then two pizzas for €10 sounds like a party.
Practically all of the marks here are for the crust and price.
✏This place was definitely overhyped; the burgers I ordered were under the recommendation of an employee at Eggslut. Conclusion: both burgers were overpriced and can be easily made at home. Although the eggs did have a nice and runny yolk (the only highlight), both burgers tasted like any other normal burger which you can get anywhere (McD sausage and egg mcmuffin does a better job if i'm honest); the orange juice was highly overpriced too for its size. If you're in the area, I guess it's worth a try to see if it's worth the hyper but it is definitely not worth the trek - you may want to give the other sandwiches a chance though!

Vẫn là nhân viên mẫn cán tận tuỵ Bầu với giọng ồm uy lực siêu đặc trưng :)) Trà chanh vẫn ngon, ngọt, thơm. Chè chúi thì chả biết do bh mình được ăn nhiều món ngon hơn nên ko còn thấy ngon như trước hay là làm chán hơn rùi, chè trân châu thì bị sượng cứng. Nhưng quan trọng nhất là cái cảm giác cả lũ bạn cùng túm tụm ngồi nép góc vỉa hè buôn dưa lê bán dưa chuột hí hí há há, hơn là đánh giá món này món kia, nhỉ?

Meat coma. @zelman_meats in Soho now has a few more halal options. The Sirloin from Canada and the Rib Eye from Australia are both halal. I personally suggest the Rib Eye. It was far superior than the Sirloin. I orderd it medium rare, cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. £28 for 350g. The Meat is cooked on a separate area of the grill for halal meats only. The beef Carpaccio is halal as well .
The Knightsbridge location still has more halal options. But this was a delicious meal. I was invited to dine here and my meal was complimentary.

White Toblerone ice creams have made it to the UK! In October no less 🤨. As an all year round ice cream lover this made me very happy. Indeed the coating is delicious, covered with little flacks of nougat. The ice cream itself is very dull though, it’s supposed to be honey and nougat flavoured, but I got nothing - not even a faint vanilla. At £3 for 4 from Morrison’s, they’re fairly steep but not as bad as the £4.80 I also paid for a tub of Ben & Jerry’s Baked Alaska yesterday... more on that tomorrow!
I tried these pizza pockets at The Mustang Cafe, Pitampura. The catch here is that it is very similiar in taste to Mc Puff from McDonald's. I would say these pizza pockets are much better in the way that these are small pieces instead of one big piece which is much more difficult to handle for a messy eater like me. These are crisp from outside and soft from inside giving it a perfect balance and is definitely a heaven for your taste buds. Plus, it is super affordable. I mean 5 pieces of cute pizza pockets along with a dip in just 80 rupees is such a steal deal.❤😍 Also, visiting an eye catching cafe like this is a win win situation for a person like me who is a foodie and loves to click pictures.
