As a kid, chef Accursio Lota had a micro-farm of snails under the stairs in the family home. I mean didn’t we all. The kids would collect them all after rains. They’d feed them spaghetti (to fatten) and wild thyme (for flavor) and eventually braise them in a deeply rich tomato sauce. Now he’s serving the dish at his new restaurant in North Park, Trattoria Cori Pastificio. Some of the best snails I’ve eaten and I’ve eaten a lot of snails. @accursiochef@cori_pasta@sandiegomag
In need of some good food to cheer meself up after a long n fuming day. The gengiskhan pot was flavourful and decent. The sake clams tasted good but there was a bit sand in the clams still.. the gyozas were quite good as well. This place was kinda crowded for a Tuesday night.

Siamo stati qui il 22/ 02 dove abbiamo provato la Super Sashi da 1,2kg, con contorno di patate al forno, con un inoziale antipasto della casa (salsiccia e zucca - fagioli champignon - frittata di carciofi - affettati e formaggi). Il tutto sempre accompagnato da una bottiglia di vino: Nebbiolo del 2017 🥩 3.5: carne ottima, famosi per la cottura in teglia, nel forno a legna, tuttavia questo ha salvaguardato gran parte delle caratteristiche organolettiche di questo tipo di carne. Ma un problema che abbiamo riscontrato nella presentazione di questa bistecca è stato la porzionatura delle fette, troppo spesse, che non ha permesso di ultimare con facilità la cottura ottimale in pietra lavica. 🍷 4: Nebbiolo del 2017, Tenuta @marchesibarolo. Unica pecca: la mancata disponibilità di un "Decanter".

PS. Tra i contorni offerti da tale locale, abbiamo trovato ottimi la salsiccia con la zucca e i fagioli con i funghi serviti entrambi in un tegame caratteristico.

(Recipe Included) - Hello Monday!! We’re back to the weekday grind after what felt like 3 weekends jam-packed into one! Hectic weekends got me looking to unwind with a nice vitamin-rich Caesar.
Here’s a gnarly variation created by @straight_ratchet you can order at @barmordecai, which opened just last month. This Caesar uses an umami sauce that includes Maggi Seasoning and Lemon with Valentine Hot sauce, and of course, Warchestershire Sauce.
