One of my favorite restaurants was on Food Networks’ show Family Restaurant Rivals and won! Their winning dish is a roasted citrus salmon with Beurre Blanc, butternut squash puree, broccoli, and a basil vinaigrette. The salmon was out of this world! .
7 oz. Angus Reserve Filet of beef, parmesan roasted fingerlings, garlic broccolini, arrabbiata sauce, “Detroit style” zip sauce .
White wine, verde brodo, roasted garlic with warm focaccia .

Ngidam mango time! Yum!

I do not like eating dessert- I am weird I know. The only dessert I like is either shaved ice or fresh fruit! My husband on the other hand always wants something sweet! He has been working super hard this week and I had some fresh apples hanging out on our counter so I decided to make a homemade rustic french apple tart! I have to wait for him to try it to tell me if it is any good but it looks deliciously perfect for fall! 🍎🥧🍁🍂
I made Beets & Mixed Vegetables soup @nailsbylinda@beautiebylinda. Beets are a good source ofmagnesium, vitamin C, and fiber. It can be treat for certain type of anemia.
Ingredient: beets, carrots, celery, potatoes, chayote, green onion, leek, salt, water
It got legit chilly outside so only hearty food will do! This cauliflower Parmesan (think chicken Parmesan, but vegan, gf and can be low carb) is everything 😋 ⠀
It’s got crunchy and melty and savory AND filling. Plus it’s a total crowd pleaser! ⠀
Can. I. Get. An. AYYYYEEE-MMEENN?!?⠀
The recipe and breakdown are in my highlights 🥰
Why should I be embarrassed that I’ve cooked nearly every recipe out of @ahezel’s Lasagna cookbook? 😳You should be embarrassed that you haven’t!

Ask Yourself If Any Of These Sound Familiar…
- You want to start baking and cake decorating, but you're not sure how.
- You're overwhelmed by the amount of information out there about baking.
- You haven't started baking yet and want to do it right.
- You wish there were a step by step tutorial for how to make fluffy cake layers, make buttercream that won't melt, and decorate cakes that will impress.
- You're tired of reading blog posts about baking, and you want to take action with a book that works.
It might sound insane, but I started in the exact same seat as many of you now. I started with zero knowledge of baking and cake decorating but I was willing to try! I read so many books and blog posts that I was overwhelmed with information!
My first cake wasn't pretty! It was a mound of yellow cake crumbs covered in chocolate buttercream and tons of sprinkles looking like a funny mountain but it sure was delicious! I just remember how amazing it felt creating a cake!
Trust me baking fails will happen along the way, and that's okay. It's a part of your baking journey, but it can also be a bummer. It's more important to focus on building a great foundation that will allow you to let go of nerves and stress less about baking.
It all starts with confidence and not being afraid of failing. Through learning foundation techniques, you will become a more confident baker ready to take on any baking or cake decorating challenge.
Cakes have become a part of many significant celebrations in our lives. I'm so happy to teach you the foundation of baking and cake decorating so you can make many cakes for years to come!

Vegan BBQ Jackfruit Brisket...thoughts? The second episode of “What Would Katie Eat?” is up on @foodnetwork IGTV, Facebook, and YouTube. Link in my profile and story as well! This recipe is inspired by my BBQ-loving, mostly vegan brother-in-law, @thatkevinbiegel. Try to keep an open mind...it’s really tasty! Serve it with my kale coleslaw and you’re in for a real treat. #veganrecipes#veganfood#foodnetwork

Curry fried rice - save this simple & quick recipe for dinner today.🤤
What is your favorite veggie to include in your fried rice? For me, any leftover veggies will do☺️. I used red curry powder here but any curry powder would work. Enjoy this easy recipe & have a lovely Wednesday, friends!🤗
Recipe (yields 3-4 servings)
~ 3 cups cooked Jasmine rice
~ 1 cup chopped asparagus
~ 1/2 cup chopped fried/pan-fried tofu
~ 1/4 cup chopped carrots
~ 2 finely sliced shallots
~ 2 tablespoons *soy sauce
~ 1-2 teaspoons curry powder
~ 1-2 teaspoons sambal/chili paste (optional)
~ oil & salt to taste
✅In a heated non-stick pan with 3 teaspoons oil, sauté shallots until they turn translucent.
✅Then, add tofu, carrots, asparagus, curry powder, sambal (if using) & cook for 1-2 minutes.
✅Add in rice & give it a quick toss, then season with soy sauce & salt. ✅Cook for a few minutes by stirring continuously so each grain is coated with curry powder. 😋Serve warm with a squeeze of lime juice & garnish with chopped scallions.
*Replace soy sauce with coconut amino or tamari for a gluten-free version.
