I am from South Korea🇰🇷, but I lived 7 years in Poland where I attended high school. 🏫🇵🇱
I chose UCV because I wanted to study something related to food, health and geography but I couldn't specifically target one bachelor program 🥑🗺️. Therefore, I looked for a more collaborative program that is not limiting me in my interest in other disciplines and was happy to find about Venlo! 🇳🇱
Academically UCV definitely met my expectations, however – for someone coming from a big city- I feel that there sometimes could be more extracurricular activities . Luckily, our student associations are doing more events and recently I also discovered fencing in Venlo. 🤺
I am part of @beet.green.committee and in our recent project we provided students with a sustainable canine every Wednesday .🍏🌱 Coming up with a conscious menu was a lot of fun and also taught me many new and easy recipes.🥙
My favorite part at UCV is the open curriculum and that it's very international🌍. Next to that, I also like that the program is really collaborative, so you don’t only work individually but also a lot in groups or teams.👨👩👧👦
In the future I would like to choose a master that focuses on sustainability, for instance in sustainable food production.🌽🔋 Regarding my future job I could see myself working at modern companies with sustainable innovation and I'm especially interested in the production and management side of that.🔎🗂️
In my free time I like to read, go for a walk and spend my time in art galleries and museums 📖. Also, I enjoy studying other cultures in terms of Art. 🎨🖼️

Ways to prepare:
1) Add 2 tablespoons of Milo powder in a cup
2) Add 1 tablespoon of oats

All the food that's fit to print? Israeli hamburger restaurant group BBB Burgus Burger Bar recently partnered with #Israeli 3D vegan hamburger printing startup SavorEat Ltd. Based on technology developed by Oded Shoseyov, a professor of plant molecular biology, protein engineering and nano-biotechnology at @hebrewuniversity, SavorEat is working to develop a machine that can instantly print a vegan burger from a cartridge containing plant-based proteins, fats, flavor components, and cellulose, a fiber that can be manipulated into a variety of textures. The machine is designed to use infrared light to cook the burger as it prints. Should the pilot be successful, BBB plans to have a working burger printer in each of its restaurants. 3 weeks ago I finished my supply of pink peppercorn. I have been looking all over since then and I couldn’t find it anywhere. I didn’t realize it was such a rarity. I love the fragrant sweet and floral heat. Pink pepper corn goes well in creamy risottos, cookies and even scallops marinated in vanilla. Long story short @penzeys_spices came to the rescue. Is it vegan? Yes!
To the moms not wanting to try a vegan lifestyle because you are stressing about what you are going to have at the kiddies party instead of the famous animal based sausage rolls, chicken nuggets, hot dogs etc, this is for you! .

I don’t want my son to get to know the world as a cruel and violent place where we discriminate against, exploit, enslave, use, torture and murder others. I don’t want to teach him that killing is ok. Being vegan in a non vegan world is difficult, but it gets easier if you focus on the ones who suffer✌🏻 .

I never say them out loud because I tend to not stick to them. Like my thought of starting WFPB in Jan.. and then ended up making Burgers Saturday night and Pizzas Sunday. The first weekend of the new year🙊 But it was so goood😉 .
I did however manage to throw myself completely out of my comfort zone by entering my first triathlon💪🏻. So anyone with experience in that field regarding training and gear, please do let me know. .

“Meatloaf”—another way to use Impossible Meat 🌟 I added chopped onions, celery, garlic, dill, salt, pepper (basically items on-hand in the fridge) and mixed it with a raw egg. 🌟 The meatloaf cooked for about 40 mins, and voila! 🌟 I thought the flavor and texture were good, but it needed a gravy/sauce because it was a bit dry. 🌟 Next time, I’ll make a tomato sauce or maybe even use cream of mushroom soup as a gravy (I’m not a huge fan of tomatoes), but all in all, I was happy with the result. 🌟
