This weeks meal plans all done, using @princess.planning again. Let’s hope that this week, sticking to it will actually pay off 🤯. Going to try and have an on plan Sunday....doesn’t normally happen!
Already had breakfast of strawbs and yoghurt before taking Isla swimming. Now home for a huge Sw fry up at 1 syn with 2 heck sausages. This will set us up before we go to a pumpkin patch 🎃
This is what happens when you're stressed out and say f$ #k it and eat takeaways, mcdonalds, KFC's, buns from the bakery, chocolate muffins, peanut butter cups x 10000 and nachos for two weeks 🥴🥴🥴. I know some people say slimming world is unsustainable and say if you go back to eating normally you'll gain it back on, and would say this is an example of that but I honestly wouldnt say this was caused by eating normal🥴. Line drawn, fridge fully stocked, ready to go!! Bring on the week ahead!
So the app I use and would really recommend for recording workouts is the @strong.app (I’ve screenshotted what it looks like on the App Store). Its really easy to use and has so many useful features. For example * It lets you customise, rename and save your workouts * It records your PBs for every exercise on its database * Shows and explains (through text, diagrams and videos) how to do different exercises * Provides you with example routines to do (e.g chest and triceps, legs)
As someone who is still very much a beginner to strength training I love being able to rely on the app to see how to perform new exercises and also ticking the sets off as you go is a great motivator ! It also lets you add new exercises if they’re not on there already! This isn’t an ad by the way, I just wanted to share a really great app 😇
Came home from group and scoffed this 🐷
Didn’t stay as I’m not quite up for chatting with group yet, but saw the lovely @keepingupwithkell_sw and @swtarget_chaser_x briefly who always keep me motivated!
Focused to shift 10lbs by Christmas at least; if not more. It’s doable if you #foodoptimise properly!
Breakfast today then was melon 🍈 and strawberries 🍓 for speed; two egg omelette with half my first A choice of cheese (20g of asda 50% reduced fat cheese) with a ketchup drizzle and a black coffee 💥
SATURDAY MORNING BRUNCH 🍽
One of our girls has started her day at the gym with some body magic and now it’s time to refuel! 2 slices of whole meal toast (hexb), fresh salmon, poached eggs and some mushrooms for speed 😋 Super yummy, super filling and super amazing 🙌🏼
This was literally one of the best meals I've made in a long time 😍
Every single mouthful was just to die for if I say so myself 😏
I made my usual homemade hash browns and stacked them with a @quorn_uk sausage pattie, @tryingtodoitall_sw lush tomatoes and a perfectly poached egg (don't be jealous Sarah 😉) with mushrooms on the side for more speed.
I have no idea if I was up or down this week!! I know I was up but I didn’t look at the scales and I wasn’t told!! It was my sons christening last week and I have done my best to eat all the cake, there’s still some left 🙈 .

Having a strict regiment may work for some. But I've had so many failures losing weight because I was to strict on myself. .
HOWEVER, FINDING BALANCE is important. In the past I have used this as an excuse to overindulge. Not last night one pint and I was done. 👍💪

CHEESE & ONION CRISPBAKE 😋
Was nosying round @icelandfoods when I saw these Cheese Crispbakes - just what I fancied! 😍 A quick look on the SW app told me that they’re only 3.5 syns each 🙌🏼 which is great as all the other ones on there range from 6.5-14 syns!
Served with sweet potatoooo and garlicky veggies!

HALF PIZZA HALF PASTA 🤤
So after the last 2 days staying in Edinburgh eating everything in site I have been thinking about this all day long 🤤🤯

Ingredients for Creamy Cajun Pasta serves 2
2 Chicken breast
Dried pasta I use 90g per person
Garlic (your choice)
100ml chicken stock
2 tbsp of Kerry Gogo (other soft cheese is fine)
2tbsp of Quark
Cajun seasoning I use A LOT
Herbs for garnish
Fry off onion and peppers and garlic for 5 mins
Add in chicken and cook till cooked through
Add in cooked pasta
Add Cajun season (as much as you want to suit yourself)
Add Low Low and quark (use more or less, suit yourself)
Add stock and allow to simmer for 3-4 minute s (continue stirring) and add herbs once plated
SPICENTICE CHIPOTLE CHICKEN PASTA 🔥
Tonight’s dinner was this beauty, @spicentice chipotle chicken pasta bake using hexa cheese 🤤🤤

90-100g of pasta I use
2 chopped up chicken breasts
1 large red onions
2 peppers (colour your choice)
350ml of passata
2 cloves of garlic
1.5 tbsp of chipotle (more or less your choice)
Tomato purée 2 tbsp
250ml Veg stock
4 tbsp Worcester sauce
1.5 tbsp balsamic vinegar
40g of 30% fat cheese (A)
Fry off all veg until softened, add garlic then chicken, cook until chicken is almost cooked through...add in passata, veg stock and tomato purée and bring to a boiler... afterwards add in chipotle, balsamic vinegar and Worcester sauce. Leave to thicken for about 25 mins ,add cooked pasta and stir throughly add to oven dish cover with cheese and into oven at 180 for 10-15 mins or until cheese is bubbling .
You can adjust the measurements to suit yourself, also can add in 3/4 of a Tbsp of sweetener if you like it a little sweeter, I always put sweetener in but your choice
CHOCOLATE PORRIDGE 🍫🥣
With strawbs, raspberries and chopped pistachios.
I stirred half a Cadbury Highlights sachet (1 syn) in to my porridge to make it all chocolatey, and used 5 pistachios for just 1 syn, too 😋
