A Bowl of Happiness - Shrimp ramen. Did you know? Ramen is the Japanese pronunciation of the Chinese word lamein. The true history of this noodle is unclear. Some say it has a Chinese origin, while others say it was invented in the 20th century by Japan. Either way, the Japanese word for ramen comes from the Chinese word lamien, which means Chinese noodles.

I’ve uploaded some top deals to my stories with offers at as little as £2.50. Be sure to check them out if you would like to eat out for a % of the price.
As you know, I headed to @grubmcr at the weekend to celebrate their 5th birthday and @wallaceandsonscatering were there, much to my dads delight! The guys were one the first traders we tried at Grub a few years ago and my dad said the bao’s were as good as he remembered them to be!
This is the ‘Minibun’ option, featuring 3 bao buns; Pork, Katsu Chicken & Cod - £10.
An easy fried rice for lunch 🍴 I prefer making rices, pastas, etc for lunch rather than the typical sandwiches. That’s why, when I can, I’ll try to make recipes as such. Again, I won’t write up the recipe as it is just cooking the rice and adding what you like. A pro tip is instead of just cooking the rice, use a vegetable or chicken stock to give it extra flavour 😋😋
Hangovers are cured by two things- Asian food and chili. 🌶🌶🌶 After a massive night out in Sydney, I had to indulge into some major food coma in order to pick myself back again for the night ahead. Me and the bestie sauntered over to Pitt St Mall Westfield Food Court to find something that would hit the spot and recharge us up again. We found a great thai place where you can customise your order to choose a type of noodle, sauce, meat, spice level. I went for the regular pad thai and let me tell you, SYDNEY HAS THE BEST THAI FOOD. Hands down next to Bangkok obviously. The bestie went for a laksa base soup, spicy and we felt like we had a couple red bulls cause we were fired up to shop! In Sydney you can live off of food courts due to the extensive cuisine and quality- I highly recommend the "THAIRIFFIC NOODLE BAR" on level 5. #Eatmyspoon 🍜
Makhana Kheer / Fox Nut Pudding....A sweet treat with festivities in air. I have fallen in love with Bokeh photography and had been craving to click it again. Hope you guys like it.
For making this Kheer/ pudding, roasted makhanas till they were crispy . Added a spoonful of ghee while they were still hot. Boiled a litre of milk till it reduced to almost half it's amount . Added sugar and cardamom powder. Then added roasted makhanas, mixed well and garnished with chopped dry fruits.
This is my second entry for #festivebokeh curated by talented ladies @pratibhabhat, @thehungrytaurean ,@bakewithbittybakes ,@cravingmania

A bowl of truffle at Camden Market! Yes its touristy, but seriously how good does this pasta cooked in a parmesan wheel look? Insanely good. And there was a lot of it!
We just love hanging out around Old Spitafields Market on gloomy days and deciding where to eat! Today, it was an aubergine rice noodle bowl from the Vietnamese Street Food Kitchenette Kart. Long name, amazing bowl full of fresh veggies!
