Big Advs going offroad was never an appealing idea,
All that changes with the all new Africa Twin Adventure Sports 1100 DCT and Manual Variants.
Such a beautiful motorcycle.
My all time favourite adventure motorcycle just got better.
Do watch the video completely as there's a challenge for you at the end
I welcome you to comment where I lag and I'll try to improve myself
Still I didn't reach the level to get my butt off the bike while cornering to lean more, but in the future definitely!!
PLEASE NOTE: All training, rides and tours will still go ahead as planned. We will of course implement preventative measures. 🔺 NO TOUCHING - Wear your gloves
🔺 KEEP A SAFE FOLLOWING DISTANCE 🔺 HELMETS ON

Sometimes my yoga practice is putting on my “new” ($20 secondhand) runners and taking my body outside into the drizzle 🌧
With anxiety rising about Coronavirus in Australia and the weather constricting us to the indoors, it’s easy to get a build up of tension and “stuck” energy.
Oftentimes, my practice would be to move through some Asana (physical yoga practice), do a Pranamaya (breathing practices) and meditate.
But yesterday, I felt I just had to get some sticky energy moving, get out into nature and bust out some kms 🏃🏻♀️ And it felt SO good!! It doesn’t mean that I didn’t also meditate that day, but I want to remind you that Yoga can be ANYTHING that makes you more whole, calms the madness of your thoughts and brings you a little bit closer home to yourself and to peace and joy 💗
It has taken me many years to get to the point of having this level of self-awareness and self-compassion (!) to care for myself (body, mind and spirit) enough to listen to myself deeply and give myself permission to act accordingly. As well as letting go of the rigid construct of what Yoga can be (or can’t be)! I am so inspired seeing many of my friends responding to this current intense time in their own unique ways... some cook heartwarming soups 🍲 , some cuddle up with a good book and their favourite tea 📚 ☕️ some burn incenses and clean their home 🏡 , others focus on their family and engage in fun activities together 👨👩👧👦... The gift of Yoga is, that it brings you closer to you and understanding better what it is that you need to do in times of pressure and fear to look after yourself.
This doesn’t mean you’ll get it right all the time, but you’ll get a lot better at it as time goes by 📆you’ll get a clear feeling when you’re off-track 😵🤛🏼 and it’ll sure feel good when you get into your sweet spot 🌸
I’d love to hear from you!
How do you keep yourself sane in times like this?? Namasté, yogis
Anna 🧘🏻♀️ PS: And yes, I get an incredibly red face from running 🍅😅🤣

Could not be happier with this boy pulling off two wins at Medium level at Clarendon today 🤩 Big pats, extra carrots and a weekend off. 🙌🏼🥕🌱 Persistence pays off and it was a great feeling to have a few of the lessons we took away from Willinga come to fruition today... and then there is still SO much we can improve on!
Today I rode with a mantra in my mind to keep me focussed on how I wanted to perform our test - “ENCOURAGE”
~ less explosive than “empower” as we don’t need more of that 💥💥
~ focusses on our heart connection (“courage” comes from the word “Coeur” = “heart” ♥️) Throughout the tests I also mentally repeated “Stay with me” when I felt Ollie get worried or go off with fairies, or sheep in the next door paddock 🐑🐑 Thank you for the DNSW committee for a great and seamlessly run comp, Nancy and Rob for your help with Alma pick up, @emmahalephotography for capturing our test and @hmhelem for being our cheer squad today! Xx
Yes, yes I love her,
Because she's always been there for me and never left me stranded alone at night.
Yes, yes I love my bike from the bottom of my heart.
Bikes are like humans, if you take care of them, they'll take care of you.
No matter if you own a KTM or a royal Enfield, you're going to relate to what I say today.
For you, a bike might probably be just a utility to take you from point A to B; for us, it's a way to live every second through the journey.
An open road, the dark night, and the wind skimming your cheeks, there's no feeling better than that. Only the things that are on the road matter, the rest of the world just disappears as you speed away past the difficulties in life.
The connection between a human and his bike is special - the first crank is like music to our ears, and it's followed by the first rev, the kick you get when you put it in gear, and the feeling you get when the clutch is released past that one point…. Every person who rides a bike knows what point I'm talking about.
Many people feel that riding a bike is all about the speed, the world rushing past you as you go all in on the gas. I know it might be hard for some of you to believe but we don't always go hard on the throttle; sometimes it's just you, your bike cruising through the wind, purring along on the road, probably a song playing through your mind. There's nothing more beautiful than the combination I just mentioned.
When a guy rides a bike, no matter what shit took place throughout the day, he'll have a lightened mood and a happy heart. Some people call it passion, some people call it a hobby, I say it's a feeling that's uncanny, I just can't give you the words to explain that.
Bikers are the kindest hearted people you'll ever meet on the roads. They respect each other - true bikers don't care if someone has a bike faster or slower than you, as long as you own a bike, you have their respect. And it's not just respect, they watch out for each other too. I'll tell you something you probably didn't know, when a biker looks at another biker and taps his helmet he's warning him about the cops that might be ahead on the way.

Happiness is real when shared
If we travel back in time,as kids our hearts raced when we saw motorcycles and no matter how many generations pass that emotion will never change.
There is nothing as great as a Motorcycle. Period.
Awesome morning out riding with friends. Meet and greet with the amazing Kinga Tanajewska of @onherbike who is currently on her round the world trip on Chillie 🌶 , her BMW F800GS. 🤠🏍✌🏻 So nice to see some faces I haven’t seen in a while. 😎👍🏻 www.jorustadventures.com
Our last Dressage Test @willingapark this weekend (Medium 4C).
A test with moments of brilliance and Ollie showing his talent, and other moments of rider errors, unrattling movements in the crowd and tension.
What I have learnt on the yoga mat and mediation cushion is “to simply begin again”.
Horse raises head in halt. ~ Simply begin again. ~
Horse shys in corner. ~ Simply begin again. ~
Rider forgets a movement. ~Simply begin again.~
The beauty of a Dressage test (and Life!) is that every movement there is a new chance to reclaim ourselves and do better.
The hardest thing is not allowing our mind to tell us otherwise and pull us down when things go pear shape 🍐😳🙈 A meditation practice that can be helpful: * sit upright (on the floor or chair)
* turn the timer on your phone to 1 minute
* close your eyes and focus on your breath
* if your mind wanders away from the breath (it will for 99.9% of you)
* simply begin again
* refocus on your breath
If you start feeling comfortable practicing for 1 minute, start adding more minutes to your practice until you reach 20 minutes

Nobody says a dream bike is a bike that has great specs, great speed, great performance and a machine that looks stunning.
Those are the things a person who just likes every new bike would say.
But for me,
A dream bike is a dream life,
I don't remember the day I fell for the Fireblade for what it is,but no matter how many R's Honda adds to its name,I will genuinely tell the world that every Fireblade is my dream.
A motorcycle that sends you the shivers, makes you feel absolutely fantastic, makes your heart go crazy
And when this happens for years and years together, that my friend is your dream bike.
Apart from the specs and looks, there is one special reason why I love the Duke390 for what it is.
It's because of the fantastic balance it has between a beginner bike and to keep up with the much faster middleweight motorcycles.
It can be a beginner bike if you are careful and it can be a maniac if you aren't,
And not many motorcycles have that character to boast about.
If your goal is to be happy,
You can create your environment in such a way that everything will work out for you in the most blissful way.
No matter where I go, Motorcycles will be a huge part in my life.
I guess crossplane in the Greek mythology means "something that shouldn't be messed around"
R1 and their character filled with sensual drama.
It is with a heavy heart that I have to pull out of the 2020 Peaks Challenge. With a high speed accident on New Years Eve, descending a hairpin down the back of Falls, my training has taken a huge hit. I walked away with bruises and scratches but my body took so much of the brunt, it has actually had a much bigger side effects weeks later.
It also hasn’t helped that work then selected myself to go for some training overseas which falls on the labour day long weekend.
So it seems like the odds have been against me all year but I will come back bigger and better next year, this is my favourite cycling event of the year and I’m devastated to not participate!
We couldn't be anything but all smiles here now could we @missmanakawad
