I love this picture. sorry #notsorry for the self-love 😂 but the capture with the yellow leave is just perfect. Thanks @daniel_wirth_ths for this picture
We're ready to go to bed. I had a really busy day at work and Bella is tired from a Frisbee session. So good night everypawdy 💕
Guten Morgen an diesem kalten Montag!
There are people who say that this dog is not beautiful and has an aggressive character. If you only go after the beauty of a dog, you already have a personal issue. However, judging his character without knowing him is not the best way at all. Whoever gets to know Thiago knows that he is the dearest and most loyal dog in the world. 😤

We got Marie’s lab results back and she tested positive for a bacteria infection called “Pseudomonas”. It’s a particularly nasty bacteria, known for its natural resistance to antibiotics and unfortunately it’s fairly common.
In Marie’s case, the bacteria caused inflammation and swelling of her sinuses causing her to have difficulties breathing thus making snoring sounds on occasion. As I said in our previous post, this only occurred when she was stressed, like during nail trimming.
The good news is that it’s been caught early meaning that her bacterial count is low and that it’s not contagious. The bad news about a low bacteria count is that there’s not enough bacteria to grow cultures from, so that the right antibiotics can be administered. The bacteria might show additional resistance after an unsuccessful treatment and for that reason cultures are especially important in regards to this particular bacteria.
Our vet has decided on an antibiotic that has been successful in treating this bacteria and Marie has started her treatment today. If the antibiotics work she should have a full recovery and if it doesn’t... well, let’s not think about that just yet.
Her runny eyes might not be a symptom of this infection, but it could be, which I’m hoping, so that now I finally know what’s causing it and so that she can be rid of it.
This is a bit of an ambivalent situation to be in, because I’m so grateful that I know my bunnies well enough to notice unusual behavior, but I’m so frustrated that they couldn’t grow cultures, so that we could know for sure which type of antibiotics to use. Hopefully the antibiotics will work and Marie will be just fine very soon, she has to 🖤
Thank you for reading this far, your support is priceless and I hope you’ll show Marie a little extra love! 🖤
