Your faith will guide you right back to where you need to be. We get so lost from time to time. It's hard not to in this world. Things happen that we never could have predicted and we get hurt in ways that rock us to our foundations. It's hard not to look up to the sky and yell, "What the actual fu*k is going on?! Why me?!"⠀⠀
But come back. Come back to who you really are. Come back to your heart. Come back to this moment. Never forget that you've been able to get through the worst of the worst every single time. I know that doesn't feel like much when you are struggling right now, but it really does count for something. ⠀⠀
Everything is changing. It's always changing. When you're really in the thick of it, remember...it's on it's way out. When you are feeling wonderful and really in flow, remember that things are always subject to change. That's how we grow. And as the old phrase goes...no mud, no lotus.

We raise our kids with fear and weakness. Let's teach them true strength and hard work at a young age and nothing can stop them.
DISCLAIMER: This wasn’t a photo shoot, nothing staged. Just a good ol’ fashioned ass whooping. I’m glad to have a buddy who’s willing to stick a camera in my face after beating me in a workout @elkshape
A little Monday Motivation. I typically don’t love these posts mostly because I’m hesitant to share some of my personal thoughts (the ones that aren’t golf related). But I understand that everybody can use a little kick in the butt from from time to time, including myself, so here it goes.
Everyday we’re given the opportunity to make certain choices. Those choices have a cumulative effect over time, whether good or bad. Even the most insignificant of choices can lead a person down a totally unexpected path. Why is all this important? Well every Monday I try to make the choice to go get a really tough workout in. During that workout I’ve got the opportunity to let off the gas pedal, or to push myself until the limits of my effort. I think mental toughness is a choice. Some of use are born with more of it than others, some less. But everyday you have a choice to do the HARD thing. That may not be working out for you. That could be something like putting down the cell phone and interacting with your family. Maybe having the tough conversation that you’ve putting off. EVERYDAY we have the opportunity to make these choices. So here’s what I want to leave you with. Would the future version of yourself be proud of the choices you’re making today? Are your choices in line with your core values? It’s not always black and white, but if you can look in the mirror at the end of the day, and be proud of your effort, THAT’S A GREAT FEELING.
So do you, and hustle in the name of your goals. I want your future self to be PROUD of the choices you make today, tomorrow, this week. Catch my story for the continuation of this post.

HAPPY (miserable) MONDAY😴🌧 For some reason I absolutely love the rain. I had employment law today and my wonderful dad drove me there because it was hammering it down!! I’ve actually had a very productive day to say I was falling asleep in the car on the way home💤
* Employment lecture
* Employment seminar
* Chapter notes for supremacy and state liability ✅
* Chapter notes for free movement of goods (completely flummoxed by this so any help would be great😂🧡)✅
* Draft 2 of my EU essay complete✅
I also spent half an hour creating this quote for my wallpaper to give myself that little pep talk every morning (okay it actually took me like an hour because I’m indecisive and couldn’t choose which colours/ fonts I wanted🤦🏼♀️)
I love Legally Blonde. The power of women is just amazing and should be recognised more often. The “Watch Me Shine” song stirs such determination within me.
For anyone out there feeling down, we all get that, especially when exams are coming up, please always remember that you are so amazing and capable of anything and everything💜
Your mind is so powerful.. I’m a big believer in the saying “fake it till you make it”, fake your positivity and soon it will come naturally to you! Once you find happiness within you will overcome everything💜 I live for me, do the same!💜
Love, Livvie💋✨ .

The grown up life is torturing me, it’s wanting me to be someone I don’t wanna be.
It’s elite, elegant, yes it it. But it’s so complicated, it makes me wish...
I wish to return to the simpler days,
To simpler worries like unfinished homework, to fights that would resolve during a game, to the injuries only that ever caused us pain.
When we didn’t know the words that hurt, when we thought it was bad manners to curse.
When holding hands was the most romantic... when flying kisses, were charismatic... when paper cuts used to hurt, when it was only occasions when he wore shirts. I want to return to the time he came outside my balcony just to say good night, when it was an adventure to be in each other’s sight. The times I needed to go home, and he held my hand and said, “don’t leave me alone.” Do you too remember that time, when we went for our first movie with 4 friends? Because if we were ever seen alone, it would mean our end.. 😂

If you struggle with finding your worth in your work I want to encourage you to kick the hustle to the curb! Shake off the shackles and be free sister.
Align yourself with truth.
What we do does not define us. Our identity is hidden in Christ. Our worth is not measured by our productivity and our salvation can not be earned.
Give your whole heart to God today, submit your life to Him and trust Him with the outcome.
Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Matthew 6:33, ESV
Submit your plans to God and seek His purpose for your life above all other things.
Lord, align the desires of our hearts to match your purpose and plan for our lives. Forgive us for pursuing our own agenda. Help us to seek you first. Amen.

When is the last time you went out with a “bad boy” and it worked out?..
What seems enticing and intoxicating in the beginning isn’t necessarily the right gauge for compatibility or long term potential..
So why do you keep ignoring history - you have experienced, time and again, where this path will take you - for the thrill of it all?..
If you want an enduring and meaningful relationship, you have to look for the traits that better determine long term relationship success..
And be open minded to seek potential dates who may “look” different than what you have chosen in the past..
What traits, do you think, determine long term #compatibility and #success ?..

I vividly remember getting ready to run an errand and feeling paralyzed by fear. My car came to a screeching halt at the edge of my neighborhood. With tears streaming down my face I sat there, frozen and unable to put my foot on the gas pedal. I was desperate to catch my breath as all the irrational scenarios ran laps through my mind. Suddenly, I had found myself pulling back into my own driveway. I had allowed the fear to steer.
If you have found yourself in a similar situation, battling fear and anxiety please seek help! Do not suffer in silence. Isolation is a tool of the enemy. I know it seems taboo to talk openly about this topic but we are to bare each other’s burdens. I want you to know that you are not alone.
2 Timothy 1:7 says “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” Sweet friend, we do not have a spirit of fear but know this, fear will come and when it does we can trust God to protect us.
I’m not encouraging you to ignore or disregard your fear, No friend. I’m encouraging you to call it out for what it is and bring it before God. We can turn to Him in prayer. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by PRAYER and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:6
The enemy knows our greatest fears and preys on our weaknesses. Shut him up with truth! Not once does the Bible say, worry about it, stress over it, or figure it out on your own but over and over it clearly states do not fear and trust God. When we allow fear and anxiety to speak into our lives we’re placing our trust in what the enemy has to say instead of trusting God.
What does this look like practically?
1) Become a prayer warrior and use worship as a weapon.
2) Do not allow fear to steer.
3) Be careful not to allow the worries of your life to cause you to unknowingly worship the worse case scenarios.
Trust God and believe His word. Cast your cares on Him because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5
