Never in my life did I think I would put down roots (in Nashville of all places) and buy a house. My wanderlust heart and indecisive head are still shocked! This is definitely not an ad, but I wanted to give a shout out to Oak Street realtors for making this daunting and complicated process nearly a piece of cake. I worked closely with Jenny, Bonnie, and @bradleycollierrealtor and these three (my dream team) answered my endless questions and reassured my constant libra indecisive streak. . .
Front porch step at my place that needed re poured, the bottom 2 steps settled which caused a crack between the bottom 2 and the top one, I decided to just re pour the top step. I used concrete screws and tie wire as reinforcements for the new step and to help tie it all together. Once painted it will all blend in. #ConcreteWork#ConcreteStairs#FrontPorch#HomeRenovations

Every year I am reminded how much I love this porch. I drink my early morning coffee here. ☕️ I watch storms roll in here. ⛈ I work from here. 👩💻 I watch the golfers tee off across the way. 🏌️ I watch the sunset here. 🌅 I love this space more and more every time I sit here. Every time I take the moments to sit and take it all in; to be grateful for such a gift. I’m spending so much more time here these days and finding that I am getting better at being here. Being present and still and at peace. 🧘🏻♀️ If you know me, that’s HARD. It’s not my nature to sit still for long or to sit with my thoughts. But I could get used to this. I’m building a muscle that I couldn’t have without an unnatural nudge to stay in one place but I’m finding myself so grateful for it tonight. Grateful for that nudge, this pause, this porch, that view. What is your favorite place in your home? Are you finding ways to make more space for yourself these days?
The church ⛪️ my husband grew up in got chairs a few years ago. They no longer wanted the pews with the mustard yellow cushions😂. His parents were very kind and gave us one that they had been given! A little TLC💜 and removal of the cushion...😝and its good as new!🙌🏻
Rocking my first born while thinking about my unborn.
I can’t believe I will be holding our child right here in only 18 short weeks. I still don’t think it has really hit me yet. Every day is a day closer to meeting the new love of my life.
My dress is old but I linked up many exact and similar options. Not maternity, but definitely bump friendly. 📸 @allthethingsash

Winemaker Freddy and I have an old 1904 house that we have slowly and lovingly renovated ourselves when we aren't busy making & selling wine. We love to sit on the big wide front steps with our newly released 2019 Rose' in hand and watch the world go by, chatting from a distance with neighbors as they walk by. It is a go to after work wine for us this time of year. A blend of 80% Syrah, 10% Malbec and 10% Tempranillo. With hints of macerated strawberries, watermelon and Rainier cherries on the nose and adding bits of early season melon on the palate. This clean, crisp and delicate wine is a great wine for summer sipping. Available on our webstore or 3 tasting rooms now, www.caveb.com

Summer nights are here ☀️ If you missed stories today I popped a cheat sheet in bio for how to price your diy furniture items if you’re in the flipping game! It’s a quick guide on how to buy low and sell high! I didn’t actually work on any of my projects today but I’m super excited for the cabinet coming up on the design vlog soon! 🖤 xo
The average cost per square foot for a single-family home is about $150. Single-family homes whose prices range from $200,000 to $400,000 contain between 1,100 and 2,600 square feet of space. On average, it’ll cost $305,809 to build a house, or between $164,850 and $476,882. Spending an average $100 to $200 per square foot means a rad smaller 1,500 square foot home costs $150,000 to $300,000 to build. Labor makes up roughly 40% of your build cost, with permits, design fees and materials making up the rest.
The single largest factor to building a home is the location. Design and materials come in a distant second.
Old or new, at @bungalowsandcottages we love smaller homes and we are grateful to the American service men and women that have made and continue to make it possible for us to figure out, hone, and work toward an American Dream of homeownership and safety and happiness. Thank you!
Happy Memorial Day!
Guess what? Our Waco porch is finally done!
My goal for our wrap around porch was to bring the indoors outside. I am so thankful to have partnered with @bedbathandbeyond to make this possible.
Our porch now has two seating areas, two dining areas, a barbecue and more.
I cannot wait to visit @my100yearoldwacohome and relax, read, dine, enjoy the oak tree, and chat with my family and girlfriends.

There are lots of fun things to share and I can’t wait to find out what you think.
