You’ve probably heard this golden diet mantra countless times and followed it too. But it gets annoying to always feel dissatisfied at the end of a meal. Wouldn’t it be nice to, sometimes, to stuff yourself till you can’t eat anymore, that too without any guilt?
You can, if you snack on ‘zero calorie’ or ‘negative calorie’ foods. They are foods which contain some calories, but such a small number that the energy spent eating or digesting them nullifies the calories consumed.
So, go ahead and binge on:
Around 75% of a celery stick is water and the rest comprises fiber which helps you feel full for long. A 100-gram serving contains merely 16 calories and delivers a good dose of vitamin C, A and K as well as antioxidants, too. So, enjoy celery sticks with a dash of salt or rustle up a fat-free dip to go with them.
With just 16 calories in a 100-gram serving, cucumber is the best snack for weight watchers. It works well as a salad, cold soup or even a smoothie. Cucumbers consist of 95% water and are therefore one of the most hydrating foods available, perfect for hot summer days. It also contains an anti-inflammatory flavonol called ‘fisetin’ which plays an important role in brain health.
Be it as a stir-fry, pizza topping or a soup, mushrooms add life to any dish. The best part: one cup of mushrooms has just 15 calories. They contain a substantial amount of vitamin D which helps in absorption of the calcium in that pizza cheese. They are also loaded with B vitamins which improve mood and gives an energy boost that lasts for hours.
Whether you have it as a sabzi or a soup, you can rest assured that cabbage has given you hardly any additional calories – a 100-gram portion contains 25 calories. The bonus: the leafy green contains essential vitamins, folate, manganese and also boasts of anti-cancer properties.
‘Top working’ a custard apple tree is a great way to expand a new variety on existing trees. Last year we removed a main branch from this mature Hilary White tree. When new branches emerged, our PinksBlush 💕 custard apple variety was grafted and here are the results. Two varieties growing on the one tree. This year we will cut off another main branch and repeat the process.
⭐RASPBERRY PEACH SMOOTHIE⭐
The vibrant colors of this smoothie make it a delight for the eyes, but its taste and healing properties are even more impressive. As you drink in the sunset colors of this smoothie, take a moment to consider some of its incredible undiscovered healing benefits.
Peaches are a wonderfully hydrating and mineral rich fruit that are easy to digest and rich in beta-carotene, vitamin C, iron, calcium, magnesium, zinc, and bioflavonoids. They have powerful anti-inflammatory properties and are especially beneficial for sinus issues, arthritis, high blood pressure, IBS, constipation, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, acne, nervous system issues, migraines, eye sight issues, and strengthening the immune system.
Raspberries are a great full-body detoxifying food, rich in antioxidants that specifically remove EBV’s byproduct and other viral debris from the bloodstream, allowing for easier overall cleansing. Raspberries also tend to bind onto and remove impurities delivered to the intestinal tract by a liver burdened by viral waste matter.
Mangoes contain a tremendous amount of carotene to restore the spleen and liver, feed the brain, and purge the lymphatic system of viral waste-matter toxins. Mangoes also provide bioactive magnesium and glucose that calm nerves to aid in sleep issues caused by viral issues.
Raspberry Peach Smoothie
1 peach, sliced
1/2 mango, cut into chunks
Juice from 1 orange
1 1/2 cup raspberries, fresh or frozen
1 frozen banana (frozen will get the best consistency but you can also use fresh banana)
1 cup coconut water or water
Make the orange layer by combining peach, mango and orange juice in a blender and blend until very smooth. Set aside and rinse the blender.
Make the pink layer by combining raspberries, banana and coconut water in a blender and blend until smooth.
Pour the orange layer into glasses, filling them up half way, then top with the pink layer. Serve immediately. Serves: 2

PINEBERRY girl is still one of my favorites! She came out almost a year ago and became one of my favorite stickers ever. I’m posting her again hoping to channel some of her creative energy, I’m feeling out of ideas these days! Is anyone else feeling this? I’ve talked to several artists and we all say we feel weirdly unable to create. I think going out and experiencing life and nature and people was a big part of my creative process so being inside for so long has been tough even on an introvert like myself. Plus I’m missing my family a lot today, I’ve been stuck down in California for a few months now and it’s officially the first 4th of July I’ve spent without them, so I’m feeling pretty lonely. I’m hoping to be able to go back to beautiful Oregon soon!
But P.S. if you’ve never heard of a pineberry they apparently taste like pineapple so maybe we should put some on pizza??? 🍓 🍕 👍
Low Calorie Fruit 🍉 *Swipe and see below for the best Fruit Tips + Facts👩🏻🍳🍓✨⠀

❤️ What’s your favourite fruit?!
🍉WATERMELON + CANTALOUPE
Here’s how to pick your melon..
Cantaloupe: find one heavy for its size. Press on the end and if it is soft, it’s ripe. Watermelon: find one that has a large sun spot + brown marks that feel + look like tree bark. This is where insects try get in as they know it’s sweet..
🍓RASPBERRIES + STRAWBERRIES
Nearly all berries are similar when it comes to nutrient composition. They are low in sugar + packed with nutrients. A good source of antioxidants + great because they are low on the glycemic index which means they won’t spike your blood sugar.
Do you know the difference between the color of bell peppers?
They come from the same plant but are at different stages of the lifecycle. A green pepper is the youngest.
Green: Least sugar + vitamin C.
Yellow: highest vitamin C
Orange: highest vitamin A.
The easiest way to cut peppers is to put them upside down on their stem + cut down from the bottom to the top.
🍈CANTALOUPE + HONEYDEW
Are low calorie and taste great. Cantaloupe is more nutrient dense than honeydew. Ripe cantaloupes have a flowery smell. Honeydew, should be golden color and dull. Knocking on the melon to hear for a hollow inside!
🍇BLACKBERRIES + RASPBERRIES
Blackberries get their deep purple color from anthocyanin which can help us reduce our risk of heart disease + inflammation due to its antioxidative properties.
Fresh or frozen will give you similar nutrient profiles

#flashback to that time I ate an 80 pound watermelon the size of my body! Remember this?? ✌🏽😂🍉✨ I love sharing this photo every year—it’s one of my favs. Gosh, I miss those good old days @rawfullyorganic.
This epic watermelon was just one of many from my co-op back in the day and grown by @gundermann_acres. Local. Organic. Non-GMO. And yes this watermelon was seeded (zoom in). Happy 4th of July weekend everyone! 🍉🙏🏽✨
Despite being on a primarily fruitarian diet with many other raw living foods for over a year, I am no where close to understanding how my own body functions or what my own body needs. The good thing is, each and everyday I eat fruit and work towards this understanding, I am one step closer. I am not an expert. I am learning through this process and willing to change my mind and perspective every step of the way. When I originally decided to take part in a fruitarian lifestyle, my mindset and the food I was eating was completely different as to what I am doing now. I am constantly learning from myself and really tuning into my body. I’ve realized so much of eating happens in my head and that I was never really aware of the way food makes me feel. The more I listen to my insides, the more I can come to this understanding about my body. This isn’t easy work but no healing has ever been easy. If you want something, pain in many different forms is going to be present. Change comes with discomfort. I have been so uncomfortable. But it damn sure is beautiful🙏🏻✨ Here is the Majestic Mediterranean Wrap from @peacepiesraw
