I was in kind of a cooking rut for the last couple of months (read: it was summer, I was busy, I love eating out, and I live near tons of restraurants). But since the winter hath cometh and I recently made a big batch of bone marrow broth, I got the motivation to get back to it. I’ve been craving my grandpa’s #お粥 (okayu), which is loaded with garlic and ginger, using said bone marrow broth and chicken stock as the base. The meat is a ground chicken normally used in soboro don. I didn’t particularly want a bunch of toppings for this since it’s so hearty on its own. 🤗🤗🤗🤗
I was asked the other day "aren't you ashamed of your stretch marks?"
For years I struggled with that issue, but surprisingly at that moment my sincere answer was a big NO.
Those scars are a part of who I am, they represent all the pain and struggles I've been through as they are also a symbol of my humble victories in this lifetime. It's easy to judge when you don't know someone's background, in total I had lost over 50kg at my lightest/heaviest. No hard feelings though.
My scars don't show much(maybe) in this bad pic, but I wanna do photoshoot showing them sometime soon. #scarstoyourbeautiful#scars#stretchmarks#selflove#gay#gayboy#gayasian#gaysian#queer#afterweightloss#proudofmyself#fitness#fitnessgoals#sixpack
